A rep for Akon tells TMZ ... Akon loaned the Ferrari to someone who was supposed to make the payment, but did not. The says once Akon learned of the missed payments, he immediately made it right and the car remains in his possession.

Akon not only has money problems, he may have a significant problem with math ... he now faces repo on a car that is worth LESS than what he owes.

The rapper's leasing company has filed docs to repossess his 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia. According to the docs ... Akon stopped making lease payments and now owes a whopping $250,000.

Here's the real bitch. Blue Book on the car is $225,000.

And it gets worse. The total cost of the lease is $360,000, so Akon could be on the hook for even more.

As for his position ... he says he made at least 37 payments. That's his position.

The Rock's mom is thanking the giant SUV her son bought her for saving her life in a head-on collision -- and amazingly holds no grudges against the woman who hit her.

Ata Maivia-Johnson tells TMZ ... "As much as I'd like to lay the Samoan smackdown on the drunk driver that crashed into us, I've already forgiven her."

Ata and Dwayne's cousin Lina Fanene were driving home last week when the other driver plowed into their Escalade.

Ata added, "By the grace of God and my big heavy strong car, we are alive today to hug our loved ones once again."

The driver has been charged with a DUI in the incident.

The woman who fled cops and slammed into the car with The Rock's mom inside has been charged with DUI.

The head-on crash in Clermont, Florida left The Rock's mom, Ata Maivia-Johnson and her passenger, Lina Fanene, hospitalized.

Cops say the the woman blew through 2 red lights before crashing into the car.

Police are asking prosecutors to get an arrest warrant for the alleged drunk driver, who is also hospitalized with injuries.

The driver who crashed into The Rock's mother and cousin earlier this month was evading police and ran a red light just before the crash ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ previously reported, Ata Maivia-Johnson (Rock's mom) and Lina Fanene (cousin) were driving home from a charity event in Clermont, FL August 2 when they were involved in a head-on car accident.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department tells TMZ ... an officer was attempting a traffic stop when the driver took off and ran the light. Sheriffs say the officer began following the driver ... minutes later the woman crashed into the car with The Rock's family.

The female driver suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Rock's mother and cousin were also hospitalized with injuries.

Bruce Jenner was busted by both the cops and his son Sunday night.

Bruce was driving on PCH in Malibu and doing a little quien es mas macho ... squealing his tires, and cops noticed. The squad cars lit up and Bruce was pulled over.

Turns out Brody Jenner was right behind and aimed his cell phone camera right at dad.

Cops told Bruce he had committed the crime of "Exhibition of Speed" -- aka showing off. They gave him a warning and let him go.

The Rock says his mom, Ata Maivia-Johnson and his cousin were struck HEAD ON by a drunk driver this week ... and luckily, they survived.

Dwayne Johnson's uncle Afa tells us Ata and Lina Fanene were driving home from a fundraiser their family runs every year -- the Usos Foundation Banquet -- when they were crashed into by the alleged drunk driver.

Both women were rushed to a local hospital and we're told Ata was hospitalized for 3 nights. Afa wouldn't say what injuries the 65-year-old sustained ... but he did tell us it was a very scary scene.

The Rock posted a picture of the crash and his mom's white Escalade -- the one he bought her for Christmas in 2012 -- clearly totaled. Same goes for the other car involved.

Fanene -- who currently works for WWE's NXT division -- posted a photo of the actor/wrestler visiting her in the hospital.

Ata and Lina also posed for a pic in the SUV on August 2nd on their way to the fundraiser.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis finally got his hands on the $100,000 toy he's been after for years -- a brand new customized T-Rex that looks like it's straight outta the Bat Cave.

The folks at RoadStarr Motorsports tell TMZ Sports ... Davis recently picked up a 1400RR, which had to be converted to hold his 6'3", 250 pound frame.

We're told they took apart the whole 3-wheel bike, raised the roof ... stretched out the frame -- and then packed it full of some SICK features.

Vernon's T-Rex has speakers inside and all around the bike, touch screen stereo system with navigation and reverse camera, smoked out lights, and a string of LEDs at the bottom. Plus, the thing does 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds!

Davis has been after a T-Rex since at least 2012 ... when he appeared on a video game talk show called "The Jace Hall Show" and tried to buy one off the host.

The folks at RoadStarr Motorsports tell TMZ Sports ... they had to customize George's Ferrari 458 Spider with a "big man conversion" to fit someone of George's height ... 6'9".

George's ride was also upgraded with an all-new sound system. In addition, George customized the wheels, lights, roof and all the logos and emblems on the car ... all in black.

The car goes from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and cost around $370,000.

It takes a special kind of knucklehead to get a rental car repossessed ... and NBA player Michael Beasley is just that knucklehead.

TMZ Sports obtained pics of Beasley's rented Porsche 911 getting hooked up to a tow truck Tuesday at his West Hollywood hotel. Technically, it's not a repo ... since Beasley was only renting -- but the bottom line is he failed to return it to Hertz at LAX, so they came and got it.

According to our sources ... Beasley picked up the car on July 22 and was supposed to bring it back on July 26, but obviously never did. We're told Beasley's total bill is $1,744.34.

Beasley's a free agent who recently worked out for the Lakers -- and you can see the car's trunk was filled with size 16 shoes. We're told the repo guy was nice enough to remove the kicks and leave 'em with the hotel valet.

Selena Gomez's rear was slightly damaged Sunday in North Hollywood … in a fender bender she allegedly caused.

Gomez was pulling out of a 7/11 parking lot when she backed into another vehicle -- causing some minor damage to her SUV. Immediately afterward, she tweeted and seemed to be blaming paparazzi for distracting her.

Unclear what if any damage was done to the other car, but Selena exchanged info with the driver -- and, so far, cops haven't been called … so it looks like she's in the clear.

Miguel says he took a sun-drenched ride along the So Cal coast 2 weeks ago on his Harley ... which sounds awesome, except for the fact that his probation prohibits it.

Miguel posted a pic of him on the hog with the caption, "Rode down the coast to PV today ... #holdtight #artgang #harleydavidson."

The singer is on probation for a DUI conviction in February. He was to drive ONLY with an interlock device -- where you blow into a tube which then allows the vehicle to start, but only if you're alcohol-free.

We're told there's no interlock on his Harley.

An official in the L.A. City Attorney's office tells TMZ ... the post alone is not sufficient to trigger a probation violation, because it doesn't catch him in the act of driving. The official warns ... they're on the lookout.

Kendall Jenner did some awesome singing and dancing, but -- SHE DID IT WHILE DRIVING!! So, what you're about to see is not cool, not safe, and ... most importantly ... not a great choice in music.
