Little background: MJ was doing a photoshoot in 2007 that was eventually published in L'Uomo Vogue and Ebony Magazine (below) later that year -- legendary photog Bruce Weber took the pics, and blah, blah, blah ... Michael tripped over a set piece, and took a dive during the session!

Not much more to it, but it is awesome to watch a roomful of people scramble when MJ falls.

Michael was fine ... he jumped up, gave a thumbs up, and laughed at his clumsiness while finishing the shoot -- his last before dying 2 years later.

So, moonwalk -- no problem. Standing upright -- ehhhh ...

Ex-Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi -- who revolutionized the video game industry by introducing the world to Super Mario -- died this morning of pneumonia at a hospital in Japan.

Yamauchi introduced the Nintendo Entertainment System to America in 1985, and followed up by launching the greatest video game franchises in history, including Super Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong.

Hiroshi left the company in 2002 -- but reportedly refused to accept his retirement pension allegedly worth between $9 to $14 million dollars ... claiming Nintendo could put it to better use.

With an estimated net worth of around $2.1 billion, Hiroshi was ranked the 13th richest man in Japan at the time of his death.

Hiroshi was 85. He is survived by his wife and 3 kids.

Now fire up that NES and kick some Bowser ass in his honor.

Ray J went ballistic on cops after they allegedly made jokes about Whitney Houston's dead body ... TMZ has learned.

Ray J -- who was romantically linked to Whitney in the months preceding her death -- was outside the suite where she died as cops and paramedics did their thing inside. Sources familiar with the situation tell us ... Ray J heard a "disrespectful comment" about Whitney followed by loud laughter, and it angered him so he tried to crash the room but he was restrained.

Our sources say Ray J went nuts a second time after hearing more laughter, and after another failed attempt to gain entry he was removed from the floor.

TMZ broke the story ... the night Whitney died ... someone connected to Whitney complained bitterly to family and others that an emergency responder was "talking trash" about Whitney's body and that the responder had done something with a sheet.

Our information seems to give credence to a Beverly Hills cop who filed a complaint with the CA Labor Dept., claiming his sergeant pulled the sheet covering WH's body below her pubic area and said, "Damn, she's still looking good, huh?"

Law enforcement sources tell us the allegation is bogus and the cop never uttered a word about this to his superiors.

As for Ray J ... we tried contacting him but were unsuccessful.

Former heavyweight boxing champ Ken Norton -- who had 3 classic fights with Muhammad Ali -- died today in Las Vegas ...according to his son.

Norton had been in failing health for several years after a series of strokes.

Norton defeated Ali -- breaking his jaw in the process -- during their first non-title fight in 1973. They faced each other in the ring two more times ... with Ali winning both.

Their last battle was the 1976 classic held in Yankee Stadium (below).

Norton was awarded the WBC Heavyweight title in 1978, when reigning champ Leon Spinks refused to give Norton -- the top contender -- a shot at the belt.

However, Norton lost to Larry Holmes a few months later ... in his first defense of the belt.

His boxing career began while he was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in the mid to late 60s -- and he was a 3 time heavyweight champ in the Corps.

Norton's son said his dad was in hospice when he died today. He was 70 years old.

The badass log-slinging helicopter pilot from Season 3 of History Channel's "Ax Men" has been killed in a bizarre chopper accident ... and authorities are still not sure exactly what went wrong.

54-year-old William Bart Colantuono -- who flew a logging helicopter for a company called R&R Logging -- died while piloting his 'copter in an Oregon forest Tuesday. As usual, he had been using the helicopter to haul logs out of the forest.

Witnesses told police they saw William release his logs shortly before impact, indicating he knew there was a problem.

Witnesses said they also saw the rotor separate from the helicopter before the aircraft flipped and crashed upside down. The accident is still under investigation.

There's a new twist in the story that a Beverly Hills cop allegedly made disgusting comments about Whitney Houston's body the night she died -- because TMZ has learned someone in the room complained bitterly after it happened.

A Beverly Hills cop allegedly sneaked a peek at Whitney Houston's dead body and then ogled out loud ... but law enforcement sources tell us the allegation is bogus.

The incident allegedly occurred in the Beverly Hilton Hotel suite where Houston was found dead in a bathroom back in February, 2012.

Officer Brian Weir claims the Sergeant removed the sheet covering the body below her genitals and blurted out, "Damn, she's still looking good, huh?" For bad measure the cop allegedly added she "looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state."

Now here's what's suspicious ... Officer Weir filed a complaint with the California Department of Labor, claiming the Beverly Hills Police Dept. retaliated against him for lodging a complaint against the Sgt. and says he was removed from his position with the SWAT and K-9 Units.

Weir says he complained to his supervisor shortly after Houston died. But law enforcement sources tell us ... Weir NEVER uttered a peep about the alleged incident. There is NO record of any complaint ... period. We're told cops didn't ever know Weir had beef until they heard about it Monday.

One law enforcement source calls Weir's complaint "sour grapes."

Weir says he's been harassed and stripped of privileges since allegedly reporting the incident. But our sources say it's a bogus claim.

Snoop Lion TO THE RESCUE -- the rapper just announced he's also giving money to help cover the funeral costs for a 6-year-old girl who was fatally shot last weekend in California.

Rapper The Game has already donated $10,000 to help pay the funeral bills for 6-year-old Tiana Ricks -- who was shot and killed when two men approached her family's Moreno Valley home and opened fire -- but sadly, Tiana's mom said the money wasn't enough to cover all the bills.

Snoop's rep wouldn't say exactly how much he donated, but sources close to Tiana's family tell TMZ the amount was $2,000.

Snoop has released a statement about the shooting, saying, "Little 6-year-old girls are not supposed to die from a gunshot. But it keeps happening ... Too many tears are being shed, too many young lives are being cut short. We need to come together to change this."

FYI, Snoop has Crip ties and Game openly identifies with the Bloods (a rival gang) ... so Snoop's really not kidding about the "coming together" stuff.

Snoop added, "Beautiful Tiana loved to play the piano -- she had a whole life ahead of her which she should have been filled with love and music."

Gia Allemand's mother believes her daughter's menstrual cycle was responsible for the extreme emotional turmoil that drove Gia to suicide last month.

Donna Micheletti -- who was on the phone with the former "Bachelor" star when she hanged herself -- described her final moments with her daughter to Dr. Phil, explaining Gia had a history of drastic mood swings around the time of her period.

Donna said, "At that point, with how she felt with her menstrual cycle, she could not see clearly ... It was like night and day. It would come out of nowhere. All of a sudden, something would click in there and she would say 'This isn't right. He doesn't love me.'"

Donna acknowledged that Gia had been upset for various reasons -- including recent fights with her boyfriend and father -- but believes the hormonal extremes are what ultimately drove Gia over the edge.

The Game is giving $10,000 to the family of a 6-year-old girl who was shot and killed outside her family's home this weekend in order to help out with funeral costs ... TMZ has learned.

The story is heartbreaking -- 6-year-old Tiana Ricks was shot and killed when two men approached her family's home in Moreno Valley and opened fire, striking Tiana and her father.

As she lay dying, Tiana reportedly turned to her father and asked, "Are you okay, Daddy?"

The Game read about the tragedy and tweeted, "This very sad story hit me in a place nothing ever has ... Tiana did not know she was shot & kept asking was her father okay."

So Game decided he wanted to help -- tracking down Tiana's family and pledging $10k to cover funeral costs.

FYI -- Game recently announced he's on a mission to give away $1,000,000 of his own money to those in need -- he calls it TheRobinHoodProject -- and this is just one of his charitable contributions.

TMZ spoke with Tiana's mother Marquia Macklin who tells us, "Game told me that he heard about my story and was really sorry. He said that he wanted to help out and put me in touch with his financial team."

We're told the money is being wired to Marquia today. Tiana's funeral will be Saturday.

While Marquia says she's extremely grateful for Game's generosity, she tells us, "It costs so much to bury her ... sadly $10,000 only covers half of the casket and the plot.”

As for the shooting, cops are still on the hunt for the culprits -- and encourage anyone with information to contact the Moreno Valley Police Department.

Who could possibly be upset at amassing a $35 million fortune in their lifetime? Bodybuilding icon Joe Weider ... 'cause he should be worth WAYYYYY more than that.

TMZ has obtained Weider's will -- filed with the court after he passed away in March at the age of 93. According to the docs, Weider's estate was worth $35 mil.

So, why is the $35 million smackeroos a bit of a disappointment?? Allow us to explain:

First, Weider was the undisputed KING of bodybuilding for more than 50 years and slapped his name on everything from dumbbells to workout gloves. Cha-ching.

Next ... Weider not only co-founded the Mr. Olympia contest, he launched multiple uber-successful fitness magazines including Muscle & Fitness, Shape and Men's Fitness. Cha-Ching.

But the biggest reason we're shocked at the number -- Joe founded Weider Nutrition in 1936 (which many consider the first sports nutrition company) ... which later became Schiff Nutrition International ... which was bought out by a German food company in 2012 for $1.4 BILLION!

Problem is ... judging from his will, it appears Joe may have gotten rid of his ownership in the company before it blew up ... and in his final days, he was forced to live on his meager $35 million.

Cal Worthington -- the legendary car dealer who became famous for his "Go see Cal" TV commercials has gone on to that great used car lot in the sky, TMZ has learned.

Worthington -- who had dealerships in Long Beach, CA, Anchorage, Alaska, Phoenix, Houston, Sacramento and other cities -- died Sunday at his ranch in California.

According to his family, Worthington passed away while watching Sunday football. The family didn't say what caused his death.

Worthington Ford in Long Beach immediately paid tribute to their fallen leader with an electronic billboard that read, "Rest In Peace."

Worthington did commercials for decades, often sharing the screen with animals including his dog Spot.

Cal became a celebrity in his own right, attracting paparazzi whenever he went to restaurants. Part of his fame was his dealerships, but part was also his attraction to young women.

Cal was recently divorced from Anna Mjoll, who's in her 40s.

Cal had 5 kids.

Boxing champ Tommy Morrison -- who starred in "Rocky 5" -- died from a blood infection ... so says his death certificate which contains no mentions of either HIV or AIDS, TMZ has learned.

According to his death certificate, filed in Nebraska, the 44-year-old died from cardiac arrest ... stemming from a blood infection known as Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Septicemia.

FYI -- back in 1996, Morrison announced he had contracted the HIV virus ... but later recanted and questioned if the disease even existed in the first place.

Ariel Castro took the "p**sy" way out when he decided to hang himself in his prison cell ... so says Tom Arnold who tells TMZ the guy shoulda been strung up by his balls.

Arnold was at LAX today when we asked how he felt about the evil Ohio kidnapper, rapist, scumbag taking his own life this week.

"If his victims are fine with it, then I'm fine with it," Arnold said ... "but it's the p**sy way out."

Arnold says the country needs to focus on supporting Castro's victims -- but says, "If I know women, they'd want him hung by his balls."

Rapist/kidnapper Ariel Castro -- who had been sentenced to life in prison for the abduction, rape, and torture of 3 Cleveland women he held captive for years -- has been found dead in his Ohio prison cell after apparently committing suicide.

States corrections officials said 53-year-old Castro was found hanging in his cell by prison staff while they were doing rounds at the facility.

Castro -- a former school bus driver -- had been under protective custody in isolation from other inmates.
