XXXTentacion is gone, but his estate has every intention of keeping his name alive -- not just through his music, but with fashion too.

The late rapper's camp has applied for a trademark to put his name on a bunch of streetwear, including jerseys, jackets, hats, t-shirts, sweats, collared shirts and hoodies.

The application -- obtained by TMZ -- was filed at the end of June, after XXXTentacion was fatally gunned down in his car in South Florida. Cops have made one arrest in the case, and have warrants out for two other suspects still on the loose.

Following his death, his album streams and sales went wayyy up ... and now his estate is looking to continue that lucrative trend with a slew of new merch.

Prince Bible, Suit and Copy of 'Purple Rain' Hitting Auction Block

Some 27 items previously owned by Prince are hitting the auction block -- thanks to The Purple One's old bodyguard -- and the memorabilia is expected to fetch several thousand bucks. For instance, the starting bid for the record alone is $1,500.

One of Prince's Jehovah's Witness Bibles is also in the lot, and is expected to fetch $7k. But the crown jewel of the collection has to be Prince's navy silk suit ... which has a starting bid of $10k!

The auction also includes some of his wedged shoes, cuff links, an ear cuff, a pair of sunglasses and a bunch of Prince's old backstage passes.

Heritage Auctions is behind the online auction ... and bids close July 21.

Ex-UCLA Star Billy Knight Found Dead At 39 After 'Goodbye' Video

Ex-UCLA star and renowned basketball trainer Billy Knight was found dead in Phoenix on Sunday after posting an apparent video suicide note ... cops confirm to TMZ Sports.

The 39-year-old posted a YouTube video early Sunday morning saying it was "probably my last message on Earth" ... and noting, "My time is up."

In the video, an emotional Knight talks about depression and apologizes to friends and family. He also advises people suffering from mental illness to seek help, so they don't end up like him.

Shortly after the video was posted, the Phoenix P.D. says officers found Knight's body in a roadway in downtown Phoenix.

Officers say, "No evidence of foul play was detected," but the body has been sent to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.

Knight broke out at UCLA in 2001 -- when he started all 33 games and averaged 14 points on 46 percent shooting from the floor.

After going undrafted in 2002, he played in the NBA's D-league for a bit before heading overseas.

The news of Knight's death has rocked the basketball community ... with ex-NBA star Matt Barnes saying, "Rest Easy My Brotha! Your summer time beach workouts had me in the best shape of my life to start every season!"

Tab Hunter Dead at 86

1950s heartthrob actor Tab Hunter died Sunday night ... according to his Facebook page.

Tab, known for his surfer boy looks and roles in "Damn Yankees" and "The Burning Hills," was also famous for remaining closeted during Hollywood's Golden Age.

Publicly, he had studio setup relationships with his female co-stars, like Natalie Wood, but in his 2005 autobiography, 'Tab Hunter Confidential' ... he revealed he was actually having affairs with male actors. Most notably, he and "Psycho" star Anthony Perkins had a long relationship.

The Facebook post didn't reveal details about his death, and simply asked fans to "Please honor his memory by saying a prayer on his behalf. He would have liked that."

Tab's memoir became an award-winning documentary in 2015 -- and J.J. Abrams is making a film, "Tab & Tony," about his life with Perkins.

Ex-UCLA Star Tyler Honeycutt Found Dead of Apparent Suicide After Shootout with Cops

Tyler Honeycutt -- a former UCLA hoops standout and Sacramento King -- was found dead early Saturday morning after a police shootout and standoff at his L.A. area home ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

According to LAPD ... it doesn't appear as if Honeycutt was struck by any gunfire in the shootout, but "appears to have sustained injuries consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound." We're told a gun was found on the scene.

LAPD tells us ... officers responded to a call of a man with a gun at Honeycutt's Sherman Oaks residence after 5 PM Friday, and upon arrival -- he fired a shot at them. We're told cops fired back, but no officers were injured.

After an hours-long standoff -- SWAT entered his home and found Honeycutt unresponsive. He was declared dead at the scene by the fire department.

Honeycutt's mother was reportedly the one who called police Friday, saying her son was acting erratically.

Honeycutt was a UCLA basketball star, earning All-Pac-10 first team honors in 2011 as a sophomore, before being drafted by the Kings in the second round. He played in parts of 2 seasons with them, before heading to Europe to play pro ball.

He was 27.

Spider-Man Co-Creator Steve Ditko Dead at 90

The man who helped Stan Lee create 2 legendary Marvel superheroes -- Spider-Man and Doctor Strange -- has died at his home in New York ... TMZ has learned.

Steve Ditko was found unresponsive in his NYC apartment on June 29 when a social worker who hadn't heard from him in a while went to Steve's home to check on him ... according to law enforcement.

The chief medical examiner listed the cause of death as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease -- basically, a heart attack brought on by clogged arteries.

Ditko was one of the most acclaimed comic book artists of all time, best known for creating Spider-Man with Lee in 1962, and Doctor Strange a year later. The stories they crafted together inspired the 2016 "Doctor Strange" film starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

While Stan became the face of Marvel and "The Godfather of Comic Books" to the public, Steve remained enigmatic over the years -- refusing to do interviews or make public appearances. He continued to work at a Manhattan studio, though, until at least 2012.

Steve was 90.

Ex-Warrior Clifford Rozier Dead At 45

Clifford Rozier -- college basketball star and Golden State Warriors' first-round pick in 1994 -- has died from a heart attack at the age of 45 ... Rozier's brother tells TMZ Sports.

We spoke to Kobie Rozier -- who told us the former Louisville standout went into cardiac arrest two days ago ... and was put on life support. Kobie says Cliff passed away Friday morning in Florida.

Rozier -- a 6-foot-11 center -- was a consensus first-team All-American in '94 (Jason Kidd and Grant Hill also made 1st team) after he averaged 18.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game with the Cards.

Clifford went on to spend four seasons in the NBA after the Warriors selected him with the No. 16 overall pick in the draft.

Anthony Bourdain Richer Than Will Suggests

Anthony Bourdain's will surprised lots of people when it was revealed he died with around $1.2 mil in assets, because everyone thought he was way richer ... turns out, he was.

We obtained a copy of Bourdain's will, and it appears he created a trust outside the will which contained an undisclosed amount of assets. It's very common for rich folk to create trusts outside of their will ... partly for tax purposes and partly for privacy.

As we reported, the will discloses Bourdain left behind $425k in cash, $250k in personal property, $35k in brokerage accounts and around $500k in royalties and residuals.

The will lists Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, his estranged wife, as trustee. The will was signed in 2016, after they had separated.

Bourdain committed suicide last month in France.

Anthony Bourdain Daughter Gets Most of Fortune

Anthony Bourdain left a sizable estate behind and most of it is going straight to his 11-year-old daughter, Ariane.

A copy of Bourdain's will was filed in a New York court Thursday and the celebrity chef/TV host left behind about $1.2 million in known assets at the time of his death. That includes $425k in cash, $250k in personal property, $35k in brokerage accounts, and about $500k in royalties and residuals ... according to the NY Daily News.

Bourdain's will also reportedly indicates an outstanding $1 million mortgage, but doesn't specify the location of that property.

Ariane gets the bulk of his assets, and his estranged wife, Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, is the executor of the will.

David Cassidy Ashes Still in Storage ... But, For Good Reason

David Cassidy's ex-gf has some misguided outrage about his family storing his ashes ... because it's not what it seems.

Sources close to Cassidy's family tell TMZ ... David's ashes have been tucked away in a cremation unit since his November. David's ex, Maura Rossi, is now nuclear, claiming something untoward is going down.

Rossi thinks David has already been forgotten by his entire family and thinks they are dishonoring his memory by letting his ashes sit in storage. She says she's so upset, she can't even sleep or eat.

But here's the deal. We're told the plan all along was to wait until this summer to spread David's ashes in a place that was near and dear to his heart ... Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs.

David was a horse racing nut, and wanted his ashes spread around the 154-year-old race track, which he frequented for more than 3 decades.

It's unclear when exactly the family's fulfilling David's final wish ... but, it's a good bet it'll come on August 18, when Saratoga hosts the "David Cassidy Memorial Race." Benches at Saratoga and the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame already bare his name.

As we reported ... David died after his organs failed. He was 67.

Janoris Jenkins Breaks Silence On Murder at His Home ... 'Hurts My Heart'

NY Giants star Janoris Jenkins says the man who was killed at his New Jersey home was a "good friend" -- and it "hurts my heart to know that he's passed."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... officials found a dead body in Jenkins' basement on June 26. The body was identified as music producer Roosevelt Rene, aka Trypps Beats.

Janoris' brother William Jenkins has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in connection to the death.

Now, Janoris is speaking out, saying, "With regret and sadness I wish to inform the fans, and the public a good friend of mine Roosevelt Rene a.k.a. Trypps Beats was found dead at my place of residence."

"Trypps was a good friend and we were collaborating on music production together. It truly hurts my heart to know he has passed away."

"At the time of the incident I was in Florida preparing to finish off my promotional tour. As this is an ongoing incident, I cannot answer any questions related to the investigation."

"I am praying for Roosevelt and his family."

Marlon Jackson isn't paying attention to the negative things people have to say about his late father, Joe, because it's not how he remembers him.

We got Marlon Tuesday at LAX, a day after the Jackson clan gathered together and laid Joe to rest in a private funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park ... the same place where Marlon's brother, Michael, is entombed.

Marlon says the family is doing as well as can be expected. As for criticism that Joe was too harsh on his kids ... Marlon doesn't want to hear it. He wants to hold on to the good memories, of which he says there are many.

Joe died last week after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 89.

Washington Capitals Staffer Brings Stanley Cup To Capital Gazette Office

Several survivors of the Capital Gazette shooting got to spend some time with the Stanley Cup on Tuesday ... thanks to the Washington Capitals equipment manager.

The story is heartbreaking ... Capitals staffer Craig Leydig had just finished a phone interview with the newspaper on June 28 -- and, minutes later, a gunman stormed the place and opened fire, killing 5 people.

Leydig -- an Annapolis resident -- was devastated and wanted to do something to help.

Since every Washington Capitals player and staffer gets a day with the Cup, Leydig decided to use his 24 hours to bring Lord Stanley's hardware to the Gazette's temporary office to help cheer up the staff.

The staff got to spend roughly 45 minutes with the trophy -- and Gazette reporter Rick Hutzell says it's something he'll remember for the rest of his life.

"We want to thank Craig for coming in with the Stanley Cup. It was clearly a big morale boost for everyone, particularly the hockey fans in the newsroom."

"The number of selfies that came out of this was huge and will be treasured forever."

Tina Turner Firstborn Son Dead ... Commits Suicide

Tina Turner's oldest son has committed suicide ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Craig Raymond Turner died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Studio City, CA. Authorities arrived at his place just after noon Tuesday and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Craig was born when Tina was 18 ... before she married Ike Turner. Once Tina and Ike wed, Ike adopted Craig. His biological father was a saxophonist named Raymond Hill, who performed with Ike's band.

The sad news of his death comes as Tina is making a rare trip outside her new home country of Switzerland to attend Paris Fashion Week events.

Craig was in the real estate business in the San Fernando Valley. He was 59.

Joe Jackson Family Luncheon After Private Funeral

The Jackson family was reunited again following the funeral for their late patriarch, Joe Jackson, which included his kids, grandchildren ... and his wife, Katherine.

A ton of the immediate and extended Jackson troupe were in attendance for a luncheon Monday after Joe's private service at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. It's the same cemetery where Michael Jackson was entombed.

Of the famous Jacksons who showed face ... Janet Jackson, La Toya Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Rebbie Jackson, Michael's youngest son Blanket, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, his lifelong partner Katherine ... with whom he had a strained relationship in the last years of his life.

Stevie Wonder also made an appearance.

Eric Church's Brother Suffered Seizures Before Death

Brandon Church, the brother of country star Eric Church, died after suffering multiple seizures ... TMZ has learned.

Brandon's father, Kenneth, tells us his son had a seizure at his home in Granite Falls, North Carolina Friday and was being transported to the hospital when he suffered another. The second episode appears to have sent Brandon into cardiac arrest.

Brandon, who had written a handful of songs over the years with his brother, had been having seizures in recent years, according to Ken.

A Scholarship Memorial Fund has been created in honor of Brandon and the family asks that donations to the fund be sent in lieu of flowers.

A law enforcement source tells us they believe the cause of death was natural, and no foul play is suspected.

Brandon was 36.
