Christina Aguilera's fiancé gave their daughter her first driving lesson ... unfortunately she's only 18 months old.

Matt Rutler took the fam out for a Sunday drive recently in Brentwood, and while stopped on the side of the road little Summer Rain hopped in Daddy's lap. No big deal, until they drove off and she remained in that dangerous position.

Based on the pics, it appears Rutler only drove about 100 yards or so down the road before pulling into a parking spot, but it's still a clear violation and extremely risky -- remember there's an airbag just inches from Summer.

Rutler could've been hit with a $475 ticket for a first offense, but cops didn't witness it ... and luckily, no one was hurt.

Nina Simone would go ballistic if she knew a light-skinned actress with dark makeup was portraying her in an upcoming biopic ... so say members of the late singer's family.

Nina's brother, Sam Waymon, tells us Nina would blanch at the studio's choice of Zoe Saldana -- whose skin was drastically darkened to resemble her. Sam says "painting up" a light-skinned actress is insulting, and "raping Nina's legacy."

Nina was a civil rights activist, and Sam says there are plenty of qualified dark-skinned actresses who could have pulled off the role ... like Viola Davis or India Arie.

Bella Thorne tried to silence Internet trolls but instead got caught in a tangled "faux fur" web -- 'cause it turns out the jacket is genuine rabbit and arctic fox fur.

Bella posted the pic of herself in the fur coat Tuesday on Instagram and even tried to silence the imminent anti-fur backlash with a caption that read, "Dear internet trolls, it's faux fur."

Problem is ... people were quick to notice the fur looked identical to the Tierra Striped Fur Jacket by Alice & Olivia which retails for $1,700.

The item's description -- on the Bloomingdale's and Harrods websites -- specifically says it's made of GENUINE rabbit and fox fur from China, where fur farms are abundant.

A rep tells us Bella was given the jacket during a photo shoot, and was "told it was faux fur." The rep says now that Bella is aware ... she'll never wear it again.

It's been 10 years since Andrei Kirilenko announced that his wife gave him 1 free sex pass per year to bang a groupie ... so when we saw them at LAX Thursday we had to ask -- is the offer still good???

The 35-year-old -- who retired from the NBA last year -- deferred the answer to his wife Masha ... who essentially told us AK still gets the green light ... but coated it with guilt.

UFC legend BJ Penn says he absolutely did NOT assault a woman back in August -- saying the allegations are completely bogus and stem from a former employee who was bitter at being fired.

As we previously reported, a woman filed a police report against Penn claiming he roughed her up at her home back in August. The UFC said it is also investigating the situation.

Now, Penn's rep tells TMZ Sports the allegations "simply aren't true" ... and say the timing of the police report is very suspicious.

Penn's camp says Pedro was fired from his job as a writer on BJ's website BJPenn.com last year but his GF didn't file a police report until February 16th ... the same day Pedro received his final severance check.

Penn's rep says, "In the almost 15 years that Penn has been a champion fighter there has not ever been any incident or allegation in regards to his conduct with women. He is a family man and father of two young daughters with a long term girlfriend. It is unfortunate that someone that BJ considered family is trying to extort him."

10:12 AM PT -- We spoke with Pedro who is adamant he and his girlfriend are NOT trying to extort BJ.

"There have been absolutely no talks about money."

"All [my girlfriend] wants is closure and accountability so this never happens to another woman ever again."

Pedro says he has text messages from BJ that corroborate his girlfriend's story.

Miami cops have voted to boycott Beyonce's April concert because of what they say is her shot at cops during the Super Bowl.

The Miami chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police is calling for cops around the country to boycott Beyonce because of the performance that paid homage to the Black Panthers, a group targeting cops.

The Panthers murdered a NYPD cop in 1981 ... an incident specifically called out by the President of the Fraternal Order of Police chapter.

Justin Bieber has been called "foolish" and "irresponsible" by a monkey protection organization that is indignant over his vow to adopt another pet primate.

Bieber now says "monkeys are awesome" and he wants another one, with this proviso ... "Just gotta make sure I got a house and it stays in the f***ing house ... I'm not gonna bring him to Germany."

The Deutschland reference ... in 2013 he took his monkey, Mally, to Germany where customs officials confiscated it after Bieber didn't have the proper documents. He never tried retrieving it.

Now the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance is lashing out, warning Biebs getting another primate "will prove dangerous to both you and your monkey, as well as irresponsible when it comes to your public following."

The org pleads, "Please do not repeat this foolish endeavor."

NAPSA wants the word out that monkeys carry disease and turn hostile when owners try to domesticate them, telling Bieber, "It is simply not possible to fulfill the unique needs of your monkey within a private home."

And that says it all.

The UFC has launched an investigation into legendary fighter BJ Penn -- after a former writer on Penn's website claimed BJ sexually assaulted his girlfriend.

The writer is Pedro Alex Carrasco -- who went to Twitter and said BJ recently came to his home "when I wasn't there and forced himself on my girl, pulled her clothes off, then blamed me, said I looked at his GF ass."

Pedro's girlfriend reportedly filed charged is Ohio -- and the UFC has already announced it's looking into the situation.

"UFC is aware of the recent allegations made against BJ Penn."

"Every athlete is deserving of proper review and this situation, as with any serious allegation, will be investigated by an independent party and thoroughly reviewed by the UFC."

"The UFC organization will also cooperate with any law enforcement investigation."

UFC says they've put any plans to book Penn in a fight on hold until they know more about the situation.

Meek Mill just got the best possible outcome at his sentencing for probation violation -- zero time behind bars.

A Philadelphia judge gave Meek 6 to 12 months in county jail, BUT he will be allowed to serve the time on house arrest. He will do a minimum of 90 days, and won't be able to do his regular job -- rapping and performing, he can only do charitable work for the community.

That ban from work includes releasing any mixtapes. Translation: No new diss tracks aimed at Drake ... for a while.

The judge will reevaluate after 90 days to determine how much longer he'll remain under house arrest.

Meek had been on probation for a 2009 drug and gun conviction when he skipped town for the AMAs in November without getting written permission from his probation officer. He also failed a pee test.

A judge ruled in December he was in violation, despite heartfelt testimony from gf Nicki Minaj and Meek's own waterworks. Nicki was in court on Friday, and was even brought into chambers with Meek and the judge to discuss what kind of charity work he'll be doing.

Meek has to turn himself in by March 1st, when he'll get his ankle monitoring bracelet.

4:44 PM PT -- Dallas PD says Manziel will not be charged with a crime and the criminal investigation is closed ... according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.

The Dallas PD issued a statement saying, "The [DPD] has conducted the appropriate investigative follow-up to the report forwarded to us by the Ft. Worth Police Department regarding an alleged incident involving Johnny Manziel."

"Investigative efforts to date have not resulted in the filing of a criminal complaint and the incident is determined to be closed. No further statement is expected at this time."

Similarly, Fort Worth PD's Sgt. Enright tells TMZ Sports there's no investigation there either ... because "no criminal offense was reported to have occurred within our jurisdiction." Colleen lives in Fort Worth ... so police there took the initial report. But the alleged hitting would have happened in Dallas.

It's pretty clear ... the cops have problems with Crowley's version of events.

Johnny Manziel's girlfriend Colleen Crowley told police the NFL star struck her "several times" during a dispute on January 30th ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

'RHOA' star Peter Thomas denies hitting a bar patron so hard the guy smashed his head, and TMZ has the video that could clear Peter's name.

We obtained surveillance video from inside Sports One -- Peter's bar in Charlotte -- where a guy named Brandon Link claims Peter pushed him into a table and he fell over and hit his head.

The security cameras definitely captured a dispute between Link and Thomas, and there is a shove. The injured head part -- is not so clear. In fact, it's non-existent in the video.

As we've reported ... Link filed a police report, claiming battery, and cops have issued a criminal summons for Thomas to talk to investigators.
