From TV screens to Capitol Hill ... "Summer House" alum Luke Gulbranson has announced his campaign for Congress in Minnesota’s 8th District.

The former reality star announced his candidacy Wednesday morning, and will run his campaign on focused on lowering costs, protecting essential programs, and expanding access to affordable healthcare.

Luke says he relates to the everyday Minnesotan, growing up in a working-class family that sometimes experienced financial hardship -- including reliance on food assistance and Medicaid.

He explains ... "I know what it’s like to worry about putting food on the table or paying the electric bill. I’ve lived the challenges so many families in this district are facing right now. I’m running for Congress to make sure no one is forgotten and to fight for an economy and healthcare system that actually works for us."

Jay Ellis says aging out of Coachella is real ... and the warning signs come fast.

We caught up with “Insecure” actor outside LAX on Monday and hit him with the question plenty of 30- and 40-somethings are quietly asking themselves: When are you officially too old for the annual music festival?

“I think you're too old for Coachella when you’ve got to think about going to Coachella,” Ellis told us.

And it seems fans are still pretty heated ... because a group of about 20 people protested at Hulu's Santa Monica office on Tuesday -- a month to the day of the reboot's cancellation -- to demand their vampire series return from the dead. The actress claimed Adam was "spectacularly rude" to her in her new memoir, "Famesick," and in an interview with The Guardian, Lena alleges Adam -- who played her boyfriend on her HBO show -- once hurled a chair at the wall next to her, and on another occasion punched a hole in the wall of his trailer.

She told the publication, "At the time, I didn't have the skill to ... it never entered my mind to say, 'I am your boss, you can't speak to me this way.'"
