Erika Kirk is opening up about the devastating hours after her husband, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed ... sharing heartbreaking details as the one-year anniversary of his death approaches.

In a New York Times opinion essay published Monday, Erika says the day after Charlie's death felt like a "fever dream" as she returned home to Phoenix from Utah. When she arrived, their children ran into her arms, unaware of where she'd been or what had happened.

Inside the house, the reality began to sink in. She says she sat on the couch where Charlie had watched the Cubs with their kids just two nights earlier and felt a wave of grief hit her.

Jon Small -- Billy Joel's former bandmate, longtime collaborator and one-time best friend whose wife eventually married the Piano Man -- has died.

Jon died Friday, according to a Facebook announcement shared by a longtime friend, and Billy paid tribute Monday on Instagram, posting simply, "RIP Jon Small."

He was in his late 70s ... a cause of death has not been revealed.

King Charles is making sure there's no confusion over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to Britain ... they're back in the UK, but they're NOT back in the royal fold.

Charles sent guidance to senior government, military and civic officials Monday, reiterating there's been "no change" to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's status since they stepped away as working royals in 2020.

The clarification came after officials reportedly sought guidance on how Harry and Meghan should be treated now that they've moved back with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

CT Tamburello’s estranged wife, Catalina White, has a message for “The Challenge” star as he goes public with his new romance with Phaedra Parks ... finish the divorce first.

Catalina tells TMZ ... “I genuinely wish Chris well in whatever relationship or career he chooses to pursue. I’m not interested in commenting on whether his new relationship is real, for publicity, or anything in between.”

She adds ... “What I would like is for him to put the same energy into ending our marriage that he’s putting into publicly promoting his new relationship," saying she filed for divorce in January, but claims she felt pressured by CT to withdraw the case. She says CT later filed for divorce himself, but the case has continued to drag on for months.

“Since then, I’ve been trying to finalize this divorce,” Catalina tells us. “My counsel has made repeated efforts to move things forward as quickly as possible, and we continue to wait for his cooperation.”

Catalina also wants to make it clear ... she isn’t seeking a financial payout from CT, saying she is one of the top earners on OnlyFans, supports herself and has her own career -- adding, "I do not—and never did—need or want money from this man. I’m not asking for anything from him other than his cooperation in finalizing our divorce.”

Catalina concludes ... “If Chris is ready to publicly move on, he should be ready to legally move on too. Sign the papers!”

As TMZ previously reported, Catalina was first spotted reacting to CT and Phaedra’s romance by commenting “Sign the papers” on an E! News post about the new couple. We talked to her back in August about how she was holding up as the divorce dragged along.

Phaedra recently confirmed she and CT are dating during an appearance on Jeff Lewis’ radio show. The two first connected while filming Season 2 of “The Traitors,” where fans quickly noticed their chemistry.

They were later seen looking cozy together at LAX, with CT wrapping his arm around Phaedra … playing coy about their newfound romance.

A second Burning Man attendee has died during this year’s festival ... and this time, the participant was found dead inside his own campsite.

According to the Burning Man Project, 60-year-old Craig Mann was discovered by fellow campers Saturday afternoon at the Nevada event. No cause of death has been released at this time.

The tragedy comes just days after another man in his 50s died following a medical emergency at the festival. As TMZ previously reported, he was treated with lifesaving measures before being taken to the event’s emergency care center, where he was pronounced dead.

Erik and Lyle Menendez are getting another shot at freedom sooner than expected ... the California Board of Parole has granted the brothers an early parole suitability hearing, tentatively scheduled for March 2027.

The brothers were previously eligible to apply for another parole suitability hearing in August 2028 ... and the advancement moves that opportunity now up by more than a year.

The fatal blast happened Saturday night in Santa María Canchesdá, in the State of Mexico, during festivities honoring Our Lady of Light.

The late actor took home Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys Sunday night for playing Albert Schnurr, a businessman who helps Ebraheim develop a plan to expand The Beef's sandwich window.

Wendi McLendon-Covey accepted the award on Rob's behalf ... and the room erupted in a standing ovation. She told the crowd, “We all wish he was here.”

An Egyptian TV host broke down in tears in court after learning her fate in a massive drug trafficking case ... death by hanging.

Sarah Khalifa, a 39-year-old former host of the Egyptian crime show "Mission Impossible," was sentenced to death in Cairo after being convicted of helping run an organized drug operation.

She and 11 others were sentenced to death after prosecutors accused the group of importing raw materials used to manufacture synthetic drugs and storing the finished product inside residential homes.

2:40 PM PT -- The death toll has climbed in the Amazon cargo plane crash at Miami International Airport ... with authorities saying 5 people are dead and 5 others were injured.

Higgins says the plane overshot the runway and struck vehicles on a nearby road before coming to a stop.

The Amazon cargo plane crash at Miami International Airport is now a fatal accident ... with officials confirming at least one person was killed Sunday, according to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ.

The death marks a grim turn in the crash, which sent an Amazon Air Boeing 767 off the runway and into a roadway near the airport.

Authorities have not yet identified who died or the full toll from the crash ... though the dispatch audio indicates a deceased patient was found beneath the plane’s right wing.

8:31 AM PT -- TMZ has obtained dispatch audio from Andy 'The Butcher' Williams' mid-match collapse.

Andy Williams -- a former AEW wrestler known as "The Butcher," died Saturday after experiencing a medical emergency during a tag team match in Pennsylvania, according to authorities.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office tells TMZ ... Williams passed away Saturday night following his health crisis at Mr. Small's Theater in Millvale, PA. The Butcher and his partner, The Blade, were battling TME during the Enjoy Wrestling event, leading to its prompt cancellation.  

A rep for Enjoy Wrestling posted a statement on X, saying that Andy collapsed at the end of his match, and doctors rushed to his aid, giving him CPR before an ambulance arrived to take him to the hospital. The rep also said everyone was sent home, while thanking all the people who gave assistance to Andy.
