Wes Scantlin's Neighbor I Need Protection After Buzz Saw Rampage
Wes Scantlin's neighbor is TERRIFIED of the Puddle of Mudd singer after he brandished a buzz saw outside her house -- and now she's obtained a restraining order against the guy, blocking him from contacting her in any way.
TMZ broke the story ... 41-year-old Scantlin was arrested last month after allegedly going to town on his neighbor's property with the saw and a sledgehammer ... knocking down a wall he believed had been illegally built on his side of the property line.
His neighbor Sasha Gradiva has now gone to court to make sure nothing of the sort ever happens again -- obtaining a temporary restraining order against the singer, barring him from coming within 20 feet of her at any time ... and prohibiting him from contacting her.
A hearing has been set for later this month to determine whether the restraining order should be made permanent.
Attempts to reach Wes were not successful.

'Sandlot' Star Arrested for Headbutting Cop You're Killin' Us Smalls!!!
"Sandlot" star Tom Guiry (who played Smalls in the movie) has taken the name "Colossus of Clout" to a new level -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ. He was arrested for headbutting a cop ... after trying to kick him in the face.
The story is crazy. We're told Guiry was at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston over the weekend when a United Airlines employee concluded he was too drunk to fly.
Law enforcement sources tell us, the employee contacted an airport cop, who approached Guiry and gave him two options: a public intoxication arrest, or the drunk tank.
Guiry then made a terrible mistake -- allegedly becoming belligerent and verbally abusive ... and even threatening the officer. Guiry then allegedly tried kicking the cop in the face and then scored a headbutt.
Guiry was taken down and cuffed ... and booked for felony assault on a police officer. We're told the officer's injuries were minor.
Guiry posted $5,000 bail and was released.
We reached out to Guiry's people ... no comment.

NY Jets Star Joe McKnight Arrested In Jersey
More trouble for the New York Jets -- ANOTHER running back was arrested. This time, the perp is Joe McKnight who was busted in Jersey on outstanding warrants during a routine traffic stop.
McKnight -- who was drafted out of USC in 2010 -- was initially pulled over in Hanover Township on July 30 around 11am after cops noticed his 2010 Mercedes speeding and changing lanes without signaling.
But during the stop, the officer ran Joe's plates -- and noticed outstanding warrants for his arrest for (1) failing to pay a $200 fine because he didn't have proof of insurance during a previous incident and (2) failing to pay a $120 fine for a prior routine traffic violation.
According to the New York Post, 25-year-old McKnight was cuffed and hauled to a nearby station where he was booked and released after posting the $320 bail.
It hasn't been a great off-season for Jets running backs -- back in May, McKnight's teammate Mike Goodson was popped on Route 80 after cops say he was in possession of drugs and guns. He pled not guilty to those charges.

'MasterChef' Finalist Josh Marks I Suffer from Mental Illness
Before Josh Marks was arrested for allegedly attacking a campus police officer, the former "MasterChef" finalist revealed that he suffers from bipolar disorder ... TMZ has learned.
Back in February, Josh recorded a video for the "Make a Sound Project" -- an organization dedicated to helping people struggling with suicidal thoughts -- in which he talks about his mental illness.
"Me personally, I have bipolar disorder," Marks said ... "I get a little anxious sometimes, and you know how I cool out is I listen to music ... and just listen to the words and just relax, you know, find my melody."
Sources connected to Marks tell TMZ ... the chef may have been in a manic state associated with bipolar disorder during his encounter with police last week.
One source tells us, "He may not have even understood that the group of people approaching him were in fact police."
Marks has been charged with aggravated battery on a peace officer and attempting to disarm a peace officer stemming from the incident. If convicted, he faces a max of 14 years in prison.
We're told ... Josh's Chicago lawyer, Bart Beals, is gunning to have the case thrown out for lack of probable cause.
As one source puts it -- "The Josh that you read about in reports last week is not the Gentle Giant that we know, and we now know for certain that bipolar disorder symptoms were involved."

Arrested 'MasterChef' Finalist History of Odd, Criminal Behavior
The "MasterChef" finalist who was arrested after getting into a violent, bizarre encounter with cops ... has a history of criminal behavior ... including a previous arrest.
TMZ broke the story ... Josh Marks was popped by cops in Chicago last week after he allegedly punched a cop and tried to steal his gun. It took 5 cops to finally subdue the 7-foot-2 giant, after using pepper spray and batons. Once in custody cops say Marks claimed he was God.
Marks' lawyer told TMZ afterwards, doctors are evaluating the chef for a mental illness, arguing he wasn't in his right mind when the alleged attack went down.
Now we've learned this isn't the first time Marks has had a run in with the law.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Marks was arrested in June for trespassing in a Chicago condo complex -- after allegedly sneaking in on numerous occasions and bizarrely telling residents he lived there. He DID NOT.
At the time, the building sent a WARNING to residents to be on the lookout for a "very tall" African-American man, who "enters the building by catching the door." They were told to call 911. The case is still pending.
As for the assault case, Marks has been charged with two felonies and faces 14 years in prison.

Kurt Angle Popped for DWI Again Checking into Rehab
TNA superstar Kurt Angle has been arrested for DWI again, TMZ has learned -- his 4th alcohol-related arrest in 6 years .. and the pro wrestler now plans to enter rehab.
A rep for the Texas highway patrol tells TMZ, Angle was busted Thursday night in Wise County, Texas following a live taping of "Impact" for Spike TV. We're told police received a call about a reckless driver, and caught up to Angle on the road.
We're told they pulled him over on suspicion of reckless driving, and detected an odor of alcohol emanating from Angle's vehicle. It's unclear if a field sobriety test was administered, but Angle was placed under arrest and taken to a nearby police station.
Angle has a long history with alcohol-related arrests.
In 2007, he was arrested for DUI in Pennsylvania. He was then arrested twice in 2011 -- once for being drunk behind the wheel of his parked car, and once for DWI.
Angle pled guilty to being drunk while parked, but he got off on the other charges.
Late Friday Angle tweeted ... "In light of recent events I will immediately be entering a rehabilitation center." He added, "I am confident that in taking these steps I can begin to address necessary changes in my life."

Former FHM model Anna Benson -- who has just been charged with armed robbery and all sorts of other crimes -- is no stranger to the law. She was once charged with murder.
A judge has denied Benson bail in her current legal predicament -- for allegedly barging into the home of ex hubby former Mets pitcher Kris Benson with a handgun and a metal baton and threatened to harm him if he didn't hand over some loot.
As for why she was denied bail -- turns out back in '96 Anna was charged with murdering a man in Tennessee and she went on the lam for 5 months. Although the charges were ultimately dropped, the judge in the current case felt because of her conduct in '96 Anna is a flight risk.
Anna wants out of the pokey so she can travel out of state for "mental and substance abuse evaluations."

"We appreciate what Josh has done for us but we're in the market of helping people. So, we'll keep him in our prayers ... but as of now Chef Marks will be dropped as a spokesman."
Marks has also been 86'd from an NYC cooking competition called "Culinary Fight Night" -- which had marketed Marks as a celebrity judge for an upcoming event.
The CFN people tell TMZ ... they made the decision to ax Marks from the event because they don't want to to put their fans in danger -- adding, "We won't have this man tarnish the integrity of our brand."
As for Marks ... we're told he remains hospitalized in Chicago ... and his lawyer says doctors are evaluating him to determine if he suffers from mental illness.

MasterChef finalist Josh Marks wasn't in his right mind during a bizarre, violent encounter with University of Chicago cops this week -- so says Josh's lawyer, who tells TMZ, doctors are currently evaluating him to determine whether he's suffering from a mental illness.
Josh's attorney Lisa Marie Butler tells us, “We are working closely with medical professionals to determine if Josh's behavior could be related to mental health symptoms."
She adds, "The Josh that you are hearing about in police reports this morning is not the spirited Gentle Giant that we know.”
As we reported, 26-year-old 7-foot-2 Marks was arrested by University of Chicago police Monday after allegedly punching a cop and trying to grab his gun. 3 officers tried to subdue Marks with batons and pepper spray, but he broke free and took off running.
It eventually took 5 officers to chase him down and handcuff him. Once in custody, cops claim Marks blamed Gordon Ramsay for his outburst, claiming the celeb chef had possessed him and turned him into God. We're told there was no evidence of drug use.
Multiple sources close to Marks believe he suffers from bipolar disorder. Fellow "MasterChef" contestant Tali Clavijo tells us, "Josh was two different people ... He seemed to always be a party guy, but he had this other side trying to be good." He added, "He had split personalities."
Marks remains in the hospital, chained to a bed. He's been charged with aggravated battery on a peace officer and attempting to disarm a peace officer -- both felonies. If convicted, he faces 14 years in prison.

A top contender on "MasterChef" had a bizarre, violent encounter with cops in Chicago ... telling them Gordon Ramsay is an "asshole" who possessed his body and then transformed him into God ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... a University of Chicago cop spotted Josh Marks nearby the campus on Monday He was trying to use a University emergency phone and had obvious cuts on his face. We're told the cop asked Marks if anything was wrong, and Marks then lunged at him, striking him with a closed fist and then tried to grab his gun.
Our sources say the cop and two other officers tried to subdue the 26-year-old, 7'2" tall culinary runner-up ... to no avail. They batoned and pepper sprayed him but it had no effect. Marks broke free and started running. Five cops subdued him in a resident's backyard.
Marks was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries. We're told once in custody an officer asked him why he went off the rails, and he blamed it all on Gordon Ramsay. Shockingly, we're told there was no evidence of drug use.
We're told doctors discovered bullet fragments in Marks' face from an unrelated incident.

WWE Star Randy Orton Fan Arrested After Blasting Him in the Balls
A crazed WWE fan has been arrested after climbing into the ring during an event in South Africa today ... and blasting Randy Orton in the nuts, TMZ has learned.
The video is pretty wild -- the fan jumps into the ring and sneaks up behind Randy while the wrestler is on the turnbuckle ... and swings his arm up between Randy's legs. Security immediately jumps in and drags the fan away, but not before Randy attempts to kick the guy.
A rep for the WWE tells TMZ, "Randy was violently attacked from behind" by the fan -- who was not part of the show ... and is now in police custody.
The extent of Randy's injuries is unclear -- we're told docs are checking him out -- but any shot to the jewels is serious in our book.

Singer Kat Dahlia Popped for DUI Allegedly Cussed Out Cop
"Gangsta" singer Kat Dahlia was busted for DUI early Tuesday morning in Miami -- and according to the police report, she cussed out the arresting officer ... and even resisted arrest.
According to the report, Dahlia was pulled over for speeding at roughly 3AM -- and when the officer approached her 2013 Nissan, a strong odor of alcohol emanated from the vehicle.
The officer claims Dahlia's speech was heavily slurred as well, so the officer asked her to exit her vehicle -- at which point, Dahlia allegedly began to grow belligerent.
The report says the officer asked Dahlia to complete a field sobriety test, and she refused, cussing at the officer instead. The report doesn't specify what cusses she used, but safe bet ... she shouldn't have used any.
Dahlia was then placed under arrest, but allegedly resisted by refusing to put her hands behind her back. The officer had to force Dahlia's hands in order to cuff her.
Dahlia was subsequently transported to a nearby police station and booked for misdemeanor DUI and resisting arrest -- but hey, at least her song's catchy.

Daniel "Boobie" Gibson tells TMZ ... he was just defending his wife's honor when he got into an altercation with a man at the Essence Music Festival earlier this month ... after the guy disrespected Keyshia Cole in a "profane way."
Gibson -- who played with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season -- just called in to "TMZ Live" to explain why he turned himself in to police in New Orleans today on 2nd degree battery charges.
Boobie says Keyshia was performing at the event ... when some guy approached her and spouted off some very "disrespectful" comments toward the singer.
Boobie says an altercation broke out and "safety was threatened" ... so Boobie says he "needed to take action."
Despite the allegations against him, Boobie says he did nothing wrong -- adding, "I have nothing to be ashamed of or hide."

1:08 PM PT -- Police have just released additional details about Gibson's arrest, saying he is accused of punching some guy at a nightclub on July 8th, breaking his jaw. Law enforcement says the fight apparently started with a verbal argument.
According to police, Gibson was booked on 2nd degree battery and later bonded out.
11:42 AM PT -- "Boobie" Gibson issued a statement to TMZ ... confirming he turned himself in to authorities earlier today.
Additionally, Gibson tells us ... "Earlier this month during the Essence Music Festival, I was involved in an incident with other individuals while I was out with my wife."
He continues, "It's unfortunate that some see opportunity in taking advantage of people who work hard for what they have achieved."
Gibson says he takes pride in being a role model for his son and other kids who look up to him -- and adds, "Once all the facts of the incident come out, I expect to be fully vindicated."
Keyshia Cole's husband Daniel "Boobie" Gibson -- a professional basketball player -- has been arrested in New Orleans today ... and according to reports, he's been charged with assault and battery.
TMZ has confirmed ... 27-year-old Gibson -- who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season -- turned himself in to the New Orleans Police Department earlier today.
The details surrounding the alleged assault and battery are unclear -- and cops have not identified the accuser.
There are reports that the alleged attack occurred at the Essence Festival earlier this month.
Gibson was released from custody at 11:09 AM local time.
