Erik and Lyle Menendez are getting another shot at freedom sooner than expected ... the California Board of Parole has granted the brothers an early parole suitability hearing, tentatively scheduled for March 2027.

The brothers were previously eligible to apply for another parole suitability hearing in August 2028 ... and the advancement moves that opportunity now up by more than a year.

Erik and Lyle were resentenced after previously receiving life without the possibility of parole for the 1989 murders of their parents, José and Kitty Menendez. Under California's parole process, certain factors can be considered when determining whether an inmate's next parole suitability hearing date should be advanced.

Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton was the target of a frightening confrontation Sunday when an armed man allegedly forced his way through a crowd toward her at the Canfield Fair.

Acton was speaking at a Mahoning County Democratic Party tent when 38-year-old Patrick Havas allegedly barreled through attendees ... knocking several people to the ground as he moved toward the candidate.

Authorities say Havas was carrying a Taser, brass knuckles, and two pistols ... although none of the weapons were drawn, the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office added.

The Illinois mom, who was allegedly infatuated with the Lindsay Clancy trial and is accused of killing her 2-year-old son was experiencing a “psychotic episode” when the tragedy unfolded, according to her attorney.

Corie Walsh -- a 40-year old woman from Frankfort, Illinois -- has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the death of her son, Barrett. Her attorney, Andrea Lyon, is speaking out, claiming Walsh was suffering from a severe mental health crisis at the time.

According to court documents, police were called to the family's home Tuesday after a teenage neighbor discovered the toddler in the basement and began performing CPR. The child was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner determined he died from asphyxia.

Vicky Kim, an elderly California woman found herself behind bars -- arrested for murder! -- after police responded to a call for "unknown trouble" and then found a person dead, according to authorities.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said deputies received the cryptic call Friday morning for "unknown trouble" in Palm Desert, California.

When the deputies arrived, they discovered a victim suffering from "traumatic injuries consistent with a physical assault,” police said. The victim, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deshundre Vinson has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with his 4-year-old nephew’s drowning death ... according to reports.

The former "America’s Got Talent" contestant was arrested Wednesday in Tennessee and is also facing three counts of aggravated child abuse, according to WTVC. His bond was set at $750,000.

The charges faced by the CitiLimitz member allegedly stem from an August incident at an apartment complex pool in Chattanooga. Police responded to a separate call when they heard screaming from the pool area and found people performing CPR on a young boy.

The Los Angeles home D4vd was renting when he was arrested for murder is now up for grabs ... TMZ has learned.

According to property records obtained by TMZ, the furnished Hollywood Hills home above the Sunset Strip hit the market Saturday for $15,950 a month.

The 3,153-square-foot property features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, spa, cabana, and a steam shower in the primary bathroom. The recently updated home also has new flooring, high-end Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and marble countertops.

Jack Doherty was arrested in Florida after cops say he got into a physical dispute with a woman inside a residence ... TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department tells TMZ ... cops responded to a residence just before noon Friday and determined Jack and a female victim had gotten into a physical altercation.

The woman was not injured, law enforcement tells us.

An Illinois mother is accused of murdering her 2-year-old son hours after texting friends about the Lindsay Clancy trial.

40-year-old Corie Walsh was initially hospitalized but then moved to a jail.

Corie was arrested after cops came to her home on Tuesday. Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old neighbor giving the young child CPR. Law enforcement rushed the toddler to the hospital, where officials said he died.

Shia LaBeouf may be able to rest a little easier ... the woman who had a weird confrontation with him in a parking lot just pleaded guilty to stalking and has been ordered not to come near the actor as part of her sentence ... but she did avoid jail ... TMZ has learned.

Court docs, obtained by TMZ, show Alyssa Couture, who was arrested on July 13 in Louisiana after following Shia to a bank parking lot, pleaded guilty to stalking at the recent hearing.

The judge ordered Alyssa to serve one year in jail but suspended the sentence in favor of giving her a year of probation. Alyssa will also have to enroll in and complete a mental health program and stay far away from Shia.

Lauren Boebert's son Tyler Boebert has been sentenced to 20 days in jail with work release after pleading guilty to child abuse and neglect.

The Colorado judge handed down the sentence Friday in connection with an incident last year, when Tyler's young son was reportedly found wandering outside his mom's home.

Lauren addressed the judge on behalf of her son, asking for leniency. "Mercy is not softness," the U.S. Congresswoman said. "Mercy is the difference between correcting a father and orphaning a son during his most important hours."

Big Tigger won't be charged after his wife made serious allegations of domestic violence ... prosecutors have decided not to pursue criminal charges against him ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the Fulton County District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute the former "Rap City" host on charges arising from the case.

You'll recall … Tigger's wife, Alicia Brown, accused him of slamming her head into a door during a May altercation ... claiming the incident left her needing stitches.

Brown also alleged Tigger pressured her to deny the incident and warned he would make sure she "loses everything" if she spoke out. She claimed he later cut off her access to the home's Ring cameras and remote gate controls.

Brown was granted a temporary protective order in June ... requiring Tigger to stay 200 yards away from her and their children and have no contact with them. She was also granted temporary custody of the minor children and exclusive use of the family home.

As TMZ first reported ... Tigger was arrested June 20 on aggravated assault and child cruelty charges. He was released on $10K bond.

Jack Doherty has been arrested in Florida ... TMZ has learned.

According to jail records obtained by TMZ, the influencer was booked Friday in Broward County on a charge of domestic violence battery.

As of now details of the incident are unclear... but sources close to Jack tell TMZ that his actions were done in self-defense.

As we previously reported ... Jack was arrested by Miami Beach Police in November 2025 outside a smoke shop and booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest.

Police said Jack was carrying amphetamine at the time ... a medication commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy as well as less than 20 grams of weed.

Video of the arrest showed him arguing with officers.

Jack later told TMZ the experience was the worst day of his life ... describing hours spent in multiple holding cells before he was released on $3,500 bail.

After getting out, Jack posted a video wearing a TMZ T-shirt of his mug shot ... joking about his arrest and complaining that jail was too dirty for him to shower there. He also bragged that he posted bail and was released in under 24 hours.

The autopsy for 5-year-old Saylor Hayes is complete, and officials did not find any signs of visible trauma, TMZ has learned. 

The Georgetown County Morgue in South Carolina conducted the first examination. The officials said Saylor had a strap attached to her ankle that appeared “consistent with a strap of a child’s wrist tether.” 

The official told TMZ no “obvious signs of trauma were observed during” the initial exam. 

12:41 PM PT -- Lindsay Clancy's attorney, Kevin Reddington, spoke to the media after a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court justice upheld the mistrial ... blasting investigators and the District Attorney Tim Cruz.

Kevin also called Lindsay a wonderful woman who is going through a very difficult time now ... before thanking the 11 jurors who came to a consensus -- and singling out the 12th for robbing them of their verdict.

Worth noting ... Cruz said Friday his office will not decide today whether to retry the case or not.

11:20 AM PT -- The mistrial will stand in Lindsay Clancy's trial. The State Supreme Court Justice rejected Reddington's motion to overturn the mistrial.

10:05 AM PT -- The judge has given the defense another hour to go before the State Supreme Court and argue the mistrial should be overturned.

We know the defense has filed legal docs with the SC, but it is unclear if the Court will hear the matter. It is likely that one SC Justice will look at the defense petition and make a decision, at least temporarily, until the full Court can hear the case.

A clerk for the SC just told TMZ ... the Court will hear the defense's motion to overturn the mistrial.

Lindsay Clancy, her lawyers, the prosecution, and the judge headed back to the courtroom soon ... and we're live streaming it all.

The trial's principals are back after the judge's shocking deadline to her attorney -- Kevin Reddington ... giving him just an hour to go to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to petition a justice to overturn the judge's mistrial decision.

As we reported ... Judge Sullivan sent jurors back into the deliberation room Friday morning -- but they emerged a short time later and once again said they were deadlocked. He declared a mistrial, then gave Reddington one hour to get someone above his pay grade to change his mind.

11:14 AM PT -- A spokesperson for American Airlines tells TMZ ... "On Sept. 3, ​American ​Airlines ​flight 618 diverted to Baltimore ​(BWI) ​due to a disruptive customer. Upon arrival, law ​enforcement ​met the ​aircraft and ​assisted with ​deplaning ​the ​customer before ​the ​flight continued ​to ​its ​destination. The ​safety and ​security of our customers ​and ​team members is our ​top ​priority ​and ​we do ​not tolerate violence. ​We ​thank ​our team members ​for ​their ​professionalism and ​our customers for ​their ​understanding."

A passenger went totally berserk on an American Airlines flight Thursday night -- screaming racial and anti-gay slurs -- and ended up getting duct-taped to his seat to restrain his behavior ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained video and photos of the wild incident, which took place on an AA flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport. However, the plane got diverted to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

The photos show the man looking like a mummy wrapped up in duct tape while secured to his seat. Even his head is duct-taped along with his hands. The video captures the crew and passengers restraining the man in his seat as he apparently tries to put up a fight.

Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, seemed barely conscious after cops helped him get up from the floor in a bar ... before placing him in handcuffs during his 2025 arrest.

TMZ obtained video from Brian's shocking arrest in August of last year at Barney's Beanery -- a popular dive bar in West Hollywood -- which shows more of the incident that began after employees tried to boot Brian from the bar.
