Oscar De La Hoya says he's a got a REAL offer for Floyd Mayweather -- forget fighting Conor McGregor and take on the winner of Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin!!!

The head of Golden Boy Promotions joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Tuesday night on FS1) and explained why Floyd shouldn't be wasting his time fighting a guy who's got a 0-0 boxing record.

Oscar says he's dead serious about negotiating a real deal to get everyone paid.

Clearly, Floyd is down to fight again -- he's said so himself -- and Dana White keeps telling everyone that a potential deal to fight Conor is a loooong way from happening.

So, why not make a fortune BEFORE making another fortune???

The Canelo Alvarez party train continues ... and Mexican singing legend Luis Miguel has hopped on board, playing blackjack in Vegas with the boxing star after that beatdown of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr!

After raging his face off Saturday, the Champ took his celebration to the MGM Grand blackjack tables Monday -- and while Canelo looks focused on his cards, "El Sol De Mexico" is all smiles seated right next to the big winner.

What do you do after beating the living dog snot out of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. -- YOU TURN UP IN VEGAS ... that's what Canelo Alverez did right after the fight ... and we got the pics.

Canelo was in a GREAT mood after destroying Julio in a 12 round beatdown in Vegas -- a fight that was capped off with the announcement he's fighting Gennady Golovkin in September.

So, with all that energy, excitement and money (to come), Canelo hit up Jewel Nightclub at the Aria Resort & Casino with his girlfriend Fernanda Gomez and raged all night long.

Canelo's promoter Oscar De La Hoya was there too -- and smiling from ear to ear -- because he's going to make a FORTUNE when Canelo and GGG throw down!!!

Conor McGregor posted the very first pic of his new baby early Sunday morning -- a kid with steely eyes and a tough lookin' jaw. Kid's got a big right arm, too.

He'll clearly destroy all other babies in the maternity ward.

The UFC superstar's girlfriend Dee Devlin looks great -- smiling with the kid at Coombe Maternity Hospital in Ireland, where the baby was born Friday night.

By the way, Conor Jr. is already proving to be a massive hit on social media -- with more than 40,000 followers on Instagram in the first 48 hours of his life.

Boxing superstar Deontay Wilder has a message for Anthony Joshua -- LET'S DO THIS!!!!

After Joshua's impressive win over Wladimir Klitschko last weekend, Wilder tells TMZ Sports the time is finally right for a USA vs. Great Britain showdown.

"Anthony Joshua is the man that I want," Wilder says ... "My blood's boiling right now!"

Wilder is the reigning WBC heavyweight champ -- and says he's willing to put his belt on the line for a shot at Joshua in what he believes would be "the biggest mega-fight in world history!"

"You put your belts on the line, I'mma put mines on the line. And at the end of it, we'll see who come out clear of the gun smoke!"

"And I guarantee you ... out of all the gun smokes I done been through, I always been that motherf*cker with the guns on this hip with the clip!"

Dana White says he's still "not close" to getting a deal done with Floyd Mayweather to fight Conor McGregor ... but says he's trying his hardest to make it happen.

"To get a deal like this done, this doesn't happen in a couple months," White tells TMZ Sports.

"It's gonna be a tough deal to get done, if it gets done at all."

We also asked him about Mayweather giving reasons why McGregor could actually win the fight -- and White says he was shocked!

"I've never heard Floyd talk like that!"

"Anybody knows a fight is a fight. Anything can happen in a fight especially when you have a guy who hits as hard as Conor does and when you have a guy who is as talented as Floyd."

Floyd Mayweather wants to be the next Steve Ballmer ... or Mark Cuban ... or Michael Jordan -- as in, he wants to own an NBA franchise.

The boxer says he had a meeting in L.A. with Lakers President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson on Thursday morning -- and when he left, he was more inspired than ever to make a play to own an NBA team.

"It's about time for me to buy an NBA team," Floyd says ... "If you're ready to sell your NBA team, please get in touch with me."

Floyd's made hundreds of millions of dollars during his boxing career -- but we're guessing he would have to team up with another financial partner (like Derek Jeter and Jeb Bush did) if he's serious.

Oscar De La Hoya just invited Donald Trump to be his guest at the Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fight in Vegas ... so he can witness firsthand how important Mexicans are for the U.S. economy.

Oscar has a dog in the fight -- Canelo is signed to Golden Boy Promotions -- and told TMZ Sports he even had the fighters run through a wall in their video promo as a "jab" at Trump's border plan.

But Oscar says there's no bad blood with Trump -- he knows the President has a long history of supporting boxing ... he just wants Donald to see the good that Mexicans like Canelo and Julio can do for the U.S.

Will Trump accept? Hey, it's possible ...

Canelo Alvarez is gonna beat Julio Cesar Chavez's ass this weekend -- so says Danny Trejo who tells TMZ Sports the whole thing comes down to HEART.

Trejo knows what he's talking about -- he was a fighter and a boxing trainer before he became a Hollywood superstar.

Floyd Mayweather is laying out the reasons why Conor McGregor could actually WIN if they ever face off in a boxing ring ... saying the guy has real talent as a stand-up, boxing style fighter.

The boxing legend was out in L.A. on Tuesday for a fancy event at Catch with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey ... but afterward is when the real fun started.

"Conor McGregor is the 2nd biggest name in MMA," Floyd said (in the past he's called HIMSELF the #1 name in the sport).

"So, I'm not gonna sit right here and knock Conor McGregor. He's gone out there and done what he's had to do. It's obvious he's done something right thus far to get to the point where he's at ."

So, where does Floyd admit Conor has a shot?

"I've been off for a couple years and I'm 40 years old now. So, I'm a lot older and he's still in his 20s and I'm in my 40s now. So that could play a major key, we don't know. And he's a heavy hitter."

Floyd also says he can't ignore the fact Conor's been crushing dudes while fighting standing up -- saying, "Every time he goes out there and defeats fighters, he's standing up. He's in a boxing position and he's beating fighters."

9:10 AM PT -- According to a police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, cops were called to Holyfield's dorm after an RA smelled weed coming from his room.

Cops say Holyfield answered the door and had bloodshot eyes. He said he hadn't been smoking and didn't know what they were talking about, despite a strong smell of marijuana.

According to the report, police had to get a search warrant because Holyfield wouldn't let them into his room. Once they got in, they saw a window had been opened. An officer checked the ground outside the window and found "seven buds of suspected unburned marijuana."

Cops say they also found a glass pipe inside an iPhone case covered in marijuana residue.

University of Georgia football player Elijah Holyfield -- son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield -- was arrested Monday morning on drug charges.

According to jail records, the 18-year-old running back was booked into a jail near the Georgia campus around 3 AM.

Records show he was arrested on two misdemeanor charges -- possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects. He was released around 4 AM on $4,050 bail.

Holyfield played in 5 games last season for the Bulldogs and was a top high school recruit.

A rep for the UGA football team tells us head coach Kirby Smart is aware of the incident.

Boxing star Zab Judah -- a 4-time world champ -- bobbed and weaved his way out of a jail sentence in his domestic violence case ... but only if he keeps his nose clean.

As we reported ... 39-year-old Judah was arrested back in July after officials say he drunkenly attacked his wife in Vegas when she confronted him about allegedly knocking up another woman.

He was arrested for domestic battery -- and now, we've learned he pled no contest and was given a 90-day suspended jail sentence.

That essentially means he WON'T go to jail IF he completes 6 months of domestic violence counseling, 48 hours of community service, pays some fines and stays out of trouble!

Court records show he already completed the community service so he's off to a good start.

Kim Kardashian's giant butt is sending a damaging message to little girls who look up to her ... so says boxing star Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin.

The former WBO middleweight champ says he saw the new pics of Kim's ass on the beach and it rubbed him the wrong way.

"I know some people have a hard time being happy with what they're born with, or maybe I shouldn't even bring up what I think about this pic. I just have a hard time understanding the reason for modifying your body to look like this?"

Colin Kaepernick turned up in Brooklyn, NY on Monday -- hanging at the Chris Brown concert at the Barclays Center where he posed for a photo with boxing star Adrien Broner.

Boxing superstar Adrien Broner is finally talking about the shooting in Ohio last week ... telling TMZ Sports he believes he was targeted because, "every killer wants a celebrity on their list."

As we previously reported, Broner was arrested in Kentucky on Thursday after cops pulled him over in an SUV that was riddled with bullets.

Now, the boxer is telling us why he was shot at -- and who wants him dead.

We also asked Broner straight-up if he's considering moving his family out of town knowing his life might be in danger.

Scary stuff.

TMZ Sports has obtained the Adrien Broner arrest video -- in which the boxing superstar tells cops, "Bitch ass n**gas tried to kill me."

Broner was arrested Thursday morning in Kentucky after officers noticed bullet holes in his SUV -- and discovered an outstanding warrant for Broner's arrest stemming from a 2014 incident.

During the stop, Broner rants to cops that people tried to shoot and kill him earlier in the night and he deserves a break.

Broner makes it clear he does NOT want to be arrested or put in handcuffs -- but the cops explain they need to cuff him for everyone's safety.

Broner dropped some classic quotes during the incident including:

"I got two guns on me ... that's my arms! That's what I do for a living!"

"I'm rich, I don't give a f**k!"

"I almost got killed, now they're taking me to jail!"

"I'm a celebrity! You really gonna hurt my hands like this and I'm fighting in June!?"

"I'm not running nowhere, I'm rich as f**k!"
