R&B Singer Christelle Avomo My Roommate Attacked Me With a Plant

Published | Updated

R&B singer Christelle Avomo got a restraining order against her roommate after the chick allegedly threw a plant at her.

Christelle claims in legal docs the fight started after her roommate, Qui Qui, also a singer, falsely accused her of stealing a debit card. Things escalated, and Christelle says after the woman threw the plant, she threatened to knock her out with a glass candle holder.

The R&B star says she called the cops and her roommate was arrested.

Christelle claims there was constant and ridiculous harassment. One, she says Qui Qui barged into her room at 5 AM and threatened her because of some issue with cigarettes.

Here's the weird thing. Christelle got a restraining order keeping Qui Qui 100 yards from her. There's no mention if either woman moved, and if they didn't, that apartment better be big.

'Sandlot' Star Brutal Details of Attack Victim Died ... Revived by Alleged Assailants

Published | Updated

"The Sandlot" star who has been charged with felony assault helped beat a grad student within an inch of his life ... according to new legal docs.

Michael Vitar, who played Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez in the flick, allegedly attacked the 23-year-old USSB student on Halloween night.

According to a search warrant obtained by TMZ, 2 of Vitar's friends, both of whom are firefighters, spotted Samuel Chang passing out candy in the street of his gated L.A. community. The firefighters suspected Chang was passing out tainted candy and confronted him.

The warrant claims the 2 firefighters began beating on Chang, restraining him with a chokehold. The legal docs claim Vitar -- now a firefighter as well -- joined in, mid beating.

The warrant says the beating was so bad Chang's pulse stopped and the firefighters had to get their gear and revive him.

Chang was taken to the hospital with horrific injuries, including burst blood vessels in the eye, bleeding on the brain, kidney failure and hemorrhaging due to suffocation.

Chang had recorded the audio of the beating on his cell phone, and cops believe they can hear Vitar say, "I got the legs."

The student says he smelled alcohol on the breath of one of the firefighters. The firefighters told cops they believed Chang was under the influence of PCP, but doctors found no drugs in his system.

Dustin Diamond Screech Checks Into The Big House

Published | Updated

Dustin Diamond is officially an inmate ... turning himself into a Wisconsin jail Friday night.

Diamond reported to the Ozaukee County Jail to serve out a 4 month sentence. You'll remember, Diamond was convicted back in May for stabbing a man in a bar on Xmas of 2014. Lucky for Dustin, the judge only hit him with 2 misdemeanors and dropped the far more serious felonies.

Not so good news ... Dustin checked in after dinner time at the jail. We're told Friday's menu was country fried steak, gravy, rice, salad and a piece of cake.

No telling if the sentence will be one too.

Kiesza Sued Your 'Hideaway' Video Jacked My Graffiti

Published | Updated

Canadian musician Kiesza just got slapped with a lawsuit over her massively popular "Hideaway" music video, which features a graffiti artist's work ... but he's not happy about it.

The "Hideaway" video is clocking almost 300 million YouTube hits -- and Brooklyn artist Jamie Mitchel Kosse's street art is seen in the background, but in his lawsuit he says he never gave Kiesza permission. Still, Kosse says she's reaping the benefits because his art lends street cred to her video.

Kosse says his work is no stranger to the screen -- his graffiti was featured in movies "The Dictator," "A Gifted Man," and licensed by NBC and CBS too.

The artist wants all copies of the video destroyed and removed from the Internet -- plus damages.

Gotta say it's a super catchy tune and fun video -- especially the awesome graffiti in the background.

DMX is trying his hand at the whole conscious uncoupling thing by keeping his divorce from his soon-to-be-wife Tashera civil, down to child support checks.

X and Tashera hugged it out Thursday outside a New York courthouse ... not the norm for a couple on the outs after meeting with lawyers and a judge, but we're told it's because they've raised the white flag on the money situation.

A lot of it has to do with X being in and out of jail the past year. He also blamed his old manager for messing up previous child support payments.

Ex 'Power Rangers' Star Rearrested and ... Charged with Murder

Published | Updated

3:45 PM PST -- Medina's attorney tells TMZ, "As far as i know, nothing has changed since a year ago when Rickey was first arrested. From the evidence I am aware of, he is as innocent now as he was then ... Waiting a year to charge someone can prejudice a client; memories become faded, you may not be able to find percipient witnesses, and crime scenes can get corrupted."

Ricardo Medina Jr. -- one of the stars of "Power Rangers Samurai" -- has been arrested for the 2nd time in the murder of his roommate, but this time he's been charged for the crime.

Medina was arrested about a year ago for allegedly stabbing his Palmdale, CA roommate Josh Sutter multiple times with a "Conan the Barbarian" sword ... during an argument over Medina's girlfriend. Medina claimed it was self-defense and was eventually released.

The D.A. kicked his case back to cops for more investigation, and he's been walking free ever since.

But we've learned Medina was re-arrested Thursday morning by L.A. County Sheriff's detective outside his house. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the D.A. has already charged him with one count of murder.

Sutter's family believes Medina was charged because evidence didn't back up his self defense story. Specifically, they say Josh had defensive wounds on his hands, and most of the blood was outside of Medina's room. Medina had claimed he retreated to his room to escape Josh.

He faces 26 years to life in prison if convicted.

Nick Carter and his buddy claim they were repeatedly beat down by staffers at a Key West bar -- something they drunkenly tried to tell cops right before they got arrested.

We got the bodycam video shot by a Key West officer outside Hog's Breath Saloon Wednesday night, where Nick and Michael Papayans blurted out their version of the fight.

Papayans admits they were relatively drunk (whatever that means), and that Nick popping off to a bouncer started the fight. Actually, it wasn't much of a fight the way he described it -- "They tackled me like they were f**king Navy SEALS or something."

Cops checked surveillance cams, and as we first reported ... busted both guys for misdemeanor battery.

The vid's kinda dark, but the audio is crystal clear ... especially when Papayans tries to drop Nick's name to the cop, and gets no reaction.

Bar workers say they REFUSED to serve the guys -- and then kicked 'em out when they became angry with the bartenders. That's when things got violent.

Witnesses and staff told cops one of the guys tried to sucker punch an employee -- Papayans headbutted the bar manager -- and then Carter grabbed a bouncer BY THE THROAT!!

So, what happens when you try to fight the bar? The bar wins.

Cops say when they arrived on scene both guys were already restrained by staffers -- and Papayans had blood all over his hands, face and knees.

Nickelback Sues Lloyd's of London They Gotta Pay for Chad's Cyst

Published | Updated

Nickelback is going after one of the biggest insurance companies in the world, claiming the company is making up stories so it doesn't have to pay up millions for the cancellation of the group's tour due to Chad Kroeger's medical condition.

The band cancelled the last 2 legs of its "No Fixed Address Tour" back in June because Chad had developed a cyst on his vocal cord and had surgery to remove it, which put him out for 6 to 9 months.

As we previously reported, the band filed a $13 million claim with Lloyd's to cover the losses for the last half of the tour. The insurance company went to court, asking a judge to declare the policy void, claiming Chad's condition was pre-existing at the time the policy was issued.

Now Nickelback has fired back ... their lawyer Howard Weitzman saying it's absurd to say the condition was pre-existing, because Chad performed nearly 40 shows before the cyst issue surfaced.

Weitzman uses the magic words, "bad faith" in his lawsuit, which opens the door to punitive damages.
