Shia LaBeouf is taking extreme caution when it comes to violence around his Trump protest webcam -- he shut it down as soon as gunshots were reported nearby.

Cops tell us there was a report of shots fired around 2:51 AM in downtown Albuquerque. The location was just one block away from The Historic El Rey Theater where LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner's protest installation opened this week.

Shia tweeted, "We have taken the stream down after shots were reported in the area. The safety of everybody participating in our project is paramount."

Better safe than sorry, but police say they didn't find anyone with a gun at the location, and gave the all clear. As it turns out, no one was in front of the camera at that time anyway.

Darius McCrary is firing back at his wife over her abuse claims ... insisting he's a loving father, and she's nothing more than a gold digging, failed ex Harlem Globetrotter.

The former "Family Matters" star says Tammy Brawner lied when she stated in legal docs he was repeatedly abusing her and their infant daughter. McCrary's attorney Glen T. Jonas tells TMZ, Brawner "is no victim ... she is a predator motivated by a desperate desire to extort money out of Mr. McCrary while trying to create an advantage in an impending divorce and custody battle."

TMZ broke the story -- Brawner, a former Globetrotter, got a restraining order against McCrary, and in the docs she accused him of striking her and getting violent in front of their child earlier this month.

McCrary's attorney says Darius "is a loving, devoted and dedicated father. [Tammy's] allegations are such obvious and outlandish lies ... we are all dumber for having read them."

The scorching response to Brawner's allegations included a deep dig at her career -- "Having floundered after being fired by the Globetrotters she apparently will say anything for a bit of media attention and a glimpse of the spotlight."

McCrary must stay 100 yards away from Brawner and their daughter, at least until a hearing next month.

Sinead O'Connor is issuing a full mea culpa for accusing Arsenio Hall of providing drugs to Prince, and saving her ass from a $5 million lawsuit in the process ... TMZ has learned.

Arsenio and Sinead tell TMZ, in a joint statement, "Sinead has retracted and apologized for statements she made about Arsenio last year, which prompted his defamation lawsuit against her."

TMZ broke the story ... Arsenio sued the crap out of the singer after she went on a rant -- weeks after Prince's death -- and accused him of fueling Prince's drug habit.

Sinead tells us, "I apologize for my Facebook posts about Arsenio to the extent that anyone thought I was accusing him of acting as Prince's drug dealer and supplying him with illegal hard drugs, or insinuating that Arsenio had something to do with Prince's death. I sincerely apologize because those statements would be false, and I retract them unequivocally."

"Family Matters" star Darius McCrary is terrorizing his wife and infant -- allegedly holding the little girl over boiling water once ... this according to the wife who just got a restraining order against him.

Tammy Brawner says McCrary went nuts on Feb. 10 ... hurling picture frames and other objects around the house, and hitting her in the head with his forearm. She says the objects he threw came dangerously close to their 16-month-old daughter, Zoey.

Where Zoey's concerned ... Tammy says McCrary has abused her on several instances, including one particularly horrifying time when he held the baby over a boiling pot of water and said he wished he never had her. In docs obtained by TMZ, she also accuses him of frequent spankings and strapping down Zoey's arms during meals.

Tammy, a former Harlem Globetrotter, says the actor regularly drinks, does drugs and comes home wasted and violent.

A judge has ordered Darius to move out of their home, and he must stay 100 yards away from Tammy and Zoey. He's also barred from visitation until after a court hearing next month. Tammy says she plans to file for divorce.

McCrary's rep hasn't gotten back to us yet.

Johnny Depp's ex-managers have a collective brass pair for suing him ... according to Johnny who says he has massive tax receipts to prove how much they screwed him.

Depp and his old management firm, TMG, are locked in a huge legal battle -- first, Johnny said they defrauded him out of $25 million and then TMG filed a countersuit against him. But in new docs, Johnny says it's laughable they'd try to sue him.

According to the docs, Johnny says TMG cost him more than $6 million in fines and penalties to the IRS from 2000 to 2015. He says the firm also dropped a seven-figure screw job on him for his California state taxes. To be clear, Depp's already paid the penalties, but he ain't happy about it.

Depp says his new management discovered TMG's "negligence and misconduct" in 2016 -- it's one of the reasons he originally filed his fraud lawsuit last month.

Lisa Marie Presley and estranged husband Michael Lockwood squared off in court Wednesday, where Lisa Marie's lawyer threw down the gauntlet, telling Michael the gravy train has left the station and he needs to get himself a job.

The former couple was fighting over technical stuff, but at one point Lisa Marie's lawyer, Mark Gross, addressed Michael's demand for $40k a month in spousal support. Gross said the time has come for Michael to apply for jobs ... like working in a guitar shop or giving music lessons.

The couple's 8-year-old twins are now living with the grandma, Priscilla Presley, while DCFS investigates troubling images found on Michael's computer.

The guy accusing Mike Epps of attacking him in a New Orleans casino says these pics prove the comedian went HAM on his face.

TMZ obtained the shots of Algernon Pitre ... he claims he suffered the black eye, laceration and general swelling at the hands of Epps around 4 AM Saturday in Harrah's.

Pitre tells us he also has neck pain, and got a CT scan and X-rays. He's already lawyered up, but says he'll wait to see how the criminal case plays out before considering a lawsuit.

As we reported, Epps was arrested for battery and no-showed for his arraignment. His reps had no comment, but on Tuesday he signed autographs and repeated, "I love my fans" like it's his mantra. Too little too late?

She doesn't always drink Natty Light, but when she does ... a North Carolina chick doesn't want her face slapped on beer ads, damn it!

Kayla Kraft is suing Anheuser-Busch -- makers of the not-so-primo pilsner -- over a photo she posted of herself sipping on a 12-ouncer. She says the pic began appearing in Natural Light's "Every Natty Has A Story" campaign -- first, on coasters distributed to Carolina bars, and then on posters in bars, restaurants and stores.

Kayla says she put the pic on FB for anyone to see, but never gave consent to become Natty Light's poster child. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, she says she owns the copyright on the pic -- and has even registered it with the U.S. Copyright Office.

The Otis elevator heir who took a pickax to Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame cut a deal in his felony vandalism case and he won't spend a day behind bars.

James Otis pled no contest to the vandalism charge and was placed on 3 years probation.

He was also ordered to pay the Hollywood Historic Trust and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce a total of $4,400 ... presumably the cost of repairing the damage and replacing portions of the star.

Otis must also do 20 days of Caltrans work ... possibly picking up trash by the freeway.

He did the deed October 26, 2016, to protest then-candidate Donald Trump.

Kesha's own team was obsessed with the singer's weight, while Dr. Luke -- the man she's suing for allegedly saying she looked like a "f***ing refrigerator" -- was emotionally supportive ... this according to new legal docs filed by Luke.

Dr. Luke's lawyers submitted emails from Kesha's managers and personal assistant, including one from one of her managers to another, saying, "She really sounds like someone who is doing drugs soo erratic. a couple of hours ago all is going well now she wants to dump the whole lot. this doesn't feel right even with Kesha standards." The reply ... "She is nuts!!!"

There were also references to keeping junk food away from Kesha, with a manager writing, "I definitely think there can't be junk food there for sure."

Luke emailed Kesha back in 2010, "I know you said you looked like a lesbo but I disagree -- you looked radiant and beautiful. You're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing right now. You're actualizing your dreams. I'm proud of you and love you very much. xo L"

Chris Brown is strongly denying something, but it's unclear if he's talking about his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran claiming he's making death threats, or about Soulja Boy -- either way, Chris looks rough around the edges.

Brown told his fans, "Make sure y'all don't be listening to all this bulls***." He never says Karrueche's name, but he could be referring to the story TMZ broke -- Karrueche getting a restraining order against him.

He also explains why he pulled out of the Soulja Boy boxing match -- blaming it on "homies" getting in the way -- and seems to challenge Soulja's crew to come get him.

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay clear of ex-GF Karrueche Tran, after she filed legal docs saying he vowed to kill her and he's beaten her up before ... TMZ has learned.

Karrueche claims in a sworn statement to the judge, earlier this month Chris "told a few people that he was going to kill me." She then says Chris told the friends if he can't have her then no one else can, threatening he was going to "take me out" and "threatened to shoot me."

Karrueche also says several years ago Chris "punched me in my stomach twice," and "pushed me down the stairs." This would have been during the time Chris was on probation for the Rihanna beating.

The legal docs also claim Chris has threatened to harm her friends and even recently threw a drink at one of them.

She worries he's now putting action behind his words, and that's why she got the restraining order.

A few weeks ago Chris posted this video, which tracks with Karrueche's claim Chris was telling friends if he couldn't have her no one could.

The domestic violence restraining order requires Chris to stay 100 yards away from Karrueche, her mom and her brother.

We reached out multiple times to Chris' rep ... so far no word back.

Keshia Knight Pulliam's ex has finally copped to being her baby daddy ... but he doesn't want to start paying for their kid just yet.

Ed Hartwell filed new docs in his pending divorce from the former TV star, and admits he's their newborn daughter's dad ... as results from his long-awaited paternity test proved.

Here's the thing though ... Ed says he shouldn't have to start shelling out dough yet -- at least not until a court decides exactly how much he should pay in child support.

Mike Epps got busted for a casino beatdown in New Orleans, and he no-showed for his arraignment Tuesday morning.

Epps and a friend allegedly attacked a guy in the Harrah's Casino around 4 AM Saturday. The alleged victim says he was walking through the casino when he spotted the comedian and said, "Oh, Mike Epps" ... according to The Advocate.

The man claims Epps and his friend started hitting him in the face. He ducked and covered until casino security came and called police. Epps and the friend, Thomas Cobb, were reportedly arrested for battery, and released on $1,000 bail.

There's a warrant out for his arrest now for skipping his arraignment.

Robin Thicke has just lost his main lawyer in his custody war with Paula Patton, because a lawyer who worked in the firm that once represented Paula now works at the firm that represents Robin.

Robin has been represented by attorney Larry Ginsberg, a partner at Harris, Ginsberg. A law firm that once represented Paula in the custody fight employed a lawyer who jumped ship and moved over to Harris, Ginsberg.

During a court hearing Tuesday, Larry Ginsberg made it clear ... the lawyer in question has no involvement in the Patton/Thicke case, but the judge felt there was always the chance of water cooler talk so Ginsberg is now off the case.
