Wilson says he would have done the same thing if Brown was white ... that race had nothing to do with it.

The lawyer says Smoot broke things off with his accuser a month ago and that's why she made up this story.

Bill Cosby Spelman College -- We Still Have Your Back

Bill Cosby may have lost some concert dates here and there, but he's not losing the support of Spelman College ... the institution he has richly funded.

An official from Spelman -- which received a $20 million gift from Cosby and his wife Camille -- tells TMZ they have not had a single conversation to change anything regarding Cosby's relationship with the college in the wake of the torrent of sexual assault allegations.

The school dedicated a 69,000 square foot facility to the Cosbys -- the Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, EdD Academic Center.

The school, which also established the William and Camille Cosby Endowed Professorship Program, notes the Cosby gift was made more than 25 years ago and the relationship is cemented.

Cosby famously gave the commencement address at Spelman in 2006.

'Star Trek: Voyager' Actor I'm Scared For My Life My Wife's Gun Was Used in MURDER

Published | Updated

"Star Trek: Voyager" actor Robert Picardo says his estranged wife is under investigation in a murder case, and he now believes his own life is in imminent danger.

Picardo -- who's in the middle of an ugly divorce from Linda Pawlik -- asked a judge to throw Pawlik off his property STAT, because he's deathly afraid of her. She's currently living in a guest house on the property -- after Picardo got a restraining order against her.

In new court docs, Picardo says Pawlik was questioned by cops after her friend, Edward Mello, was found dead Oct. 29 in a hotel room -- killed with a handgun he says was registered to Pawlik.

Picardo claims Pawlik was ordered to turn over all 10 of her handguns when he got the restraining order ... but he claims at least 4 guns were never turned in -- and one was used to murder Mello. He also claims Pawlik hangs out with violent criminals and drug users.

A judge sided with Picardo ... and ordered Pawlik to move out of the guest house and off the property by Dec. 7. ... but Picardo has to pay $10K toward her moving expenses.

We tried several times to reach Pawlik ... but so far no word back.

Andy Dick He Steals, He Has Drugs AND HE DOESN'T GET CHARGED!

Published | Updated

Andy Dick was caught with drugs when he was busted earlier this month for grand theft ... but TMZ has learned he won't be charged with either crime.

As we first reported ... Dick was arrested after a guy claimed Dick ran off with his $1K gold chain ... when the two stopped to chat on Hollywood Blvd.

According to the D.A.'s office ... when Dick was popped by cops, he was carrying a single Adderall pill -- and he didn't have a prescription -- so he could have been charged with possession.

But we're told ... the D.A.'s office decided against filing the drug charge because Dick had such a minimal amount. They also declined to file grand theft charges because Dick had already given the necklace back ... and there was no evidence he ever planned to keep it.

Bullets dodged.

Adrian Peterson Says Grand Jury Can Reverse Ruling ... Inspires False Hope

Published | Updated

Adrian Peterson believes there's a slight chance the grand jury in Ferguson will change its mind and indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Mike Brown ... problem is, he's flat-out wrong.

In the wake of the decision in Ferguson, AP went to Twitter to express his dismay over situation ... writing, "The GRAND JURY DECIDED NOT TO INDICT ME TOO! But that changed a week LATER! MAYBE, BUT NOT LIKELY N THIS CASE #PUTyourTrustNGODnotINtheWORLD!"

AP is obviously referring to his child abuse case ... insisting he was under the impression the grand jury was leaning toward NOT pursuing charges against him for beating his son with a switch ... only to change its mind and indict at the last minute.

There were reports that AP's case was "no-billed" by a grand jury and then taken to another grand jury, which decided to indict the NFL star ... but the Montgomery County D.A. eventually shot those reports down.

"The same grand jury was the one that reviewed all the evidence and the law in this particular case, and the one that issued the indictment,” the D.A. stated.

That being said, seems AP is ill-informed about how grand juries work ... because unless a game-changing new piece of evidence emerges, the decision by the grand jury in Ferguson will stick ... like it or not.

We've learned theater honchos have asked the promoter to cancel -- the venue wants nothing to do with Cosby in the wake of the sexual assault allegations, but they have no power.

We reached out to the promoter, but got radio silence.

He then told her he booked a flight to L.A. and made good on his promise. He was spotted on November 1 and 4 driving up and down Hudgens' L.A. street.

A judge was so creeped out that Hudgens and her lawyer Shawn Holley won a restraining order. The man is ordered to stay 100 yards clear of her, her sister and boyfriend.

Moritz tells us she's already reaching out to the other alleged victims.

Moritz has 2 big problems ... the statute of limitations and the fact that she never told anyone about the incident until speaking to TMZ late last week.

As for the statute ... Moritz thinks even if the case gets thrown out, the fact that multiple women present a united front is meaningful. And as for her belated revelation ... she says she blocked it and it only became vivid again after various woman began stepping forward over the last 2 weeks.

She's already gotten legal advice that this could be like Wade Robson's suit against Michael Jackson after he died ... if a victim remembers the incident later in life due to repressed memories -- they can ATTEMPT to sue as long as it's within a year of remembering.

Iffy.
