Apple's admission to slowing down older iPhones isn't sitting well with one California man ... so he's going after the tech giant on behalf of all his fellow outdated iPhone users.

A new class action suit has been filed by Stefan Bogdanovich, an L.A. man who, like millions of other people, uses an iPhone ... but not an iPhone 8. He claims Apple's tactic of slowing down older iPhone models causes users to suffer -- specifically those with the 7 or 7s -- and take a hit to their wallets.

Bogdanovich claims Apple's decision to slow the operation of older phones to save battery life was never requested or agreed upon ... and it lowers the value of their phones. He also believes -- like many other users -- that it's just a ploy by Apple to get folks to buy the newest iPhone.

He wants Apple to stop slowing down older phones and get some payback for damages.

1:10 PM PT -- Law enforcement tells us Mellie allegedly pulled off a massive coupon scam at Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us. Authorities say Mellie and her husband used counterfeit coupons to purchase $18,000 worth of gear at both stores.

Both of them were hit with the same charges and are being held on $13,000 bail.

"Gypsy Sisters" star Mellie Stanley revived her old role as the family's black sheep ... after running afoul of the law again.

Mellie was arrested Thursday morning in Lexington, Kentucky on a warrant. She was booked for theft by deception, criminal possession of forged instrument and unlawful access to a computer ... this according to docs obtained by TMZ.

It's unclear exactly what Mellie was doing, but we're told she allegedly committed the crime a couple weeks ago when the warrant was issued. She'll be arraigned later today.

It's not her first time running into trouble. In 2014 she and her sister were reportedly busted for running a coupon scam at a Target in North Carolina. Mellie's then-husband was also arrested back in 2015 after a heated argument between the couple sadly led to Mellie's puppy being killed.

Ex-'Basketball Wives' star Jennifer Williams is firing back at her ex who just got a temporary restraining order against her, claiming he's stalking and harassing her ... and she's scared for her life.

Jennifer filed for her own restraining order Wednesday on the heels of her ex-BF James "Tim" Norman being granted one himself after he claimed she slashed his tires and worse.

In her own petition for protection -- which was ultimately denied until a judge can talk to 'em both in court -- she says Tim has been leaking info that she says was stolen from her phone in an attempt to embarrass her, while also claiming he's been stalking her.

Jennifer says she wants a judge to throw down the hammer on Tim and force him to leave her alone so she can move on. She also says he's got at least 4 guns, and she's fearful for her own safety.

Venus Williams insisted to lawyers the traffic light was "always" green as she drove across the intersection where she had the fatal car accident -- but that doesn't match up with what she told police on the scene.

TMZ Sports obtained a portion of Venus' recorded deposition in the wrongful death lawsuit filed against her by Jerome Barson's family. During the depo, taken Nov. 9, Venus repeatedly says she only saw a green light. If true ... it would mean the Barsons, traveling perpendicular to Venus, had run a red light when they t-boned Venus.

The potential problem for Venus is that's not how witnesses remember it, and it's not even how Venus remembered it while talking to Palm Beach Gardens PD. Body cam footage shows her saying, "As I was going to start again, I saw that the light was turning red." The exchange begins at 40 seconds.

If Venus saw the light turning red, that would mean the Barsons did have a green light as they proceeded through the intersection. In fact, according to the police investigation, witnesses said the Barsons DID have a green.

As we reported, the police cleared Venus of any criminal wrongdoing in the accident -- saying neither party was to blame.

Meanwhile, the wrongful death suit is moving forward and likely headed for court where a jury will have to decide if Venus was negligent as she crossed the intersection.

If you found out someone you loved was doing drugs -- and you knew you could stop it -- would you grab a hammer and try to rescue that person???

That's the story behind the arrest of Tim Donaghy -- the ex-NBA ref who went to prison for betting on NBA games that he officiated.

Donaghy was arrested in Florida on Tuesday for allegedly threatening a man with a hammer ... but he told police the only reason he was even in that situation was to save his daughter.

According to the police report, Tim believed his daughter was doing drugs with a friend at a nearby home -- so he grabbed a hammer and went to get her.

While Tim was arguing with his daughter outside the home, he was confronted by another man -- the father of his daughter's friend.

The man claims Tim brandished the hammer and threatened to use it, if he came any closer.

Police were called and Tim was arrested for aggravated assault.

Donaghy's attorney tells TMZ Sports his client did NOT assault anyone -- and didn't threaten anyone -- he only had the hammer for protection. Tim insists he was just trying to be a good dad.

The Game's been holding out on 40 Glocc ... who says it's time to pay the hell up.

40 Glocc just filed a lawsuit against Game, seeking more than $200k he says he's owed. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, 40 says he won the dough back in November 2016 in a previous lawsuit he'd filed over a 2012 beatdown Game handed him. TMZ got a video of the fight.

40 says the original judgment was for $196,335.15 -- however, because Game's been dragging his feet ... with interest, he now owes $216,775.52.

Venus Williams is not at fault for her fatal car accident, but neither is the driver of the other vehicle ... according to the police investigation.

Palm Beach Gardens PD released their findings on Wednesday and said no charges will be filed in the case. Cops say neither Venus nor the Barsons -- the couple in the car that t-boned Venus -- violated the other's right of way.

TMZ Sports got the video which shows exactly what went down in the June 9 car wreck.

Venus told police on the scene she was "caught in the middle" of the intersection because a 3rd vehicle had turned in front of her as the light was turning. You can see that car at about 17 seconds in our video ... the police say it was a Nissan Altima and they spoke to the driver.

They concluded the Altima driver DID violate Venus' right of way. However, police also aren't blaming the Altima driver for the wreck.

The Barsons drove through the intersection when the light turned green and smashed into Venus. Jerome Barson later died from his injuries.

A Sylvester Stallone accuser has reported an alleged act of sexual misconduct to police, and the case will be investigated ... despite the statute of limitations having long since expired.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the woman filed her report recently with Santa Monica police --and alleges the incident went down in the early '90s. TMZ broke the story ... Stallone's camp was aware of the allegation and say they've been told she's alleging rape during a 1990 meeting at Stallone's office. He denies the claim.

We're told police will investigate, and present it to the D.A.'s Office to decide whether there's enough to prosecute. The statute of limitations for sexual assault or battery in California is 10 years -- but in the current environment ... our sources say police are looking into all allegations of sexual misconduct.

As we first reported ... Stallone says he intends to file a complaint, accusing the woman of filing a false police report. However, police tell us their first order of business will be investigating her claims ... and it won't be easy.

Chloe Grace Moretz can breathe a sigh of relief -- however small -- because a judge just granted her a permanent restraining order against a man she believes is mentally ill and stalking her.

The judge signed off on the order Wednesday and ordered Terry Daniel Quick to stay the hell away from her at least a football field length's away for 3 years ... this according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

As we reported ... Chloe ran to court demanding protection and claimed Terry confronted her, followed her and her boyfriend, Brooklyn Beckham, to a concert, and even showed up at her doorstep.

McKayla Maroney wants convicted molester Dr. Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics to pay for the hell they put her through ... according to a new lawsuit.

The Olympic gymnast blames Michigan State University for hiring Nassar when they knew he was a child molester. According to the suit, she's also pissed USA Gymnastics forced her to sign a confidentiality and non-disparagement clause as part of her settlement with Team USA.

She says they were silencing her, and she only agreed to sign it because she was in a desperate situation. McKayla says she needed the money in Dec. 2016 to pay for psychological treatment to recover from the trauma caused by Nassar.

As we've reported ... McKayla says Nassar molested her with his un-gloved hand before competitions. He was convicted earlier this month of criminal sexual misconduct and possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to 60 years in prison for the child porn conviction. He is still awaiting sentencing for the assault convictions.

At least 78 women filed a very similar lawsuit against Nassar, MSU and USA Gymnastics.

10:16 AM PT -- X's attorney, David Bogenschutz, tells us the judge will permit the rapper to fulfill his contractual obligations while on house arrest ... this includes allowing him to visit a local recording studio. We're also told X is not permitted to have ANY contact with the victims or witnesses in the case.

Bogenschutz says once the 60-day house arrest expires, his team will try to get X released on bond while they prep for his case.

XXXTentacion will be back on the outside after being locked up last week on 15 new felony charges -- but he'll have some strict new rules to follow.

Law enforcement sources tell us X will be released Wednesday under a Florida court's discretion. He'll be on "very restrictive house arrest conditions" for the next 2 months.

As we reported ... X was sent back to jail last week after being hit with 7 new felonies tied to alleged witness tampering. He got hit with 8 more felonies for alleged witness tampering this past Monday, which prosecutors say came from evidence derived from calls he made from jail last year.

It's unclear exactly what X's new house arrest regulations will be.

3:22 PM PT -- Michael tells us, "I want to apologize to my fans, family, and my hometown community for placing myself in this situation. I am so very sorry for the disappointment these events have caused everyone. I know it will take time; however, I will do everything I can to rebuild your trust."

Country star Michael Ray's definitely NOT singing "I'm Lovin' It" ... after a minor collision at McDonald's got him busted for DUI and drugs.

The Eustis PD was called to McDonald's just after 3 AM Wednesday in Florida after Michael's 2012 Jeep hit the car in front of him while waiting in a drive-thru line. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops say Michael told them his foot slipped off the pedal.

Cops say Michael had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, reeked of alcohol and he stumbled when he got out of the car. Cops say he told them he was coming from a bar. They conducted a series of sobriety tests, which cops say Michael bombed.

He was arrested for DUI and felony possession of weed oil, which cops say they found while searching him. Michael's expected to be released from jail soon. We've reached out to Michael's reps, so far no word back.

8:04 AM PT -- Nelly's attorney, Scott Rosenblum, tells TMZ ... "It comes as no surprise that Ms. Green filed a lawsuit against Nelly seeking money after we announced our intention to hold her accountable. We always believed her accusation was motivated by greed." He adds, Nelly plans to countersue.

Nelly's rape accuser, who refused to testify in the criminal case against him, has now filed a lawsuit against the rapper ... claiming sexual assault and defamation.

Monique Greene says she had worked as a host at the Seattle club where Nelly performed on Oct. 6, 2017 ... although she was not on the clock that night. She says after the show she was drinking alcohol, and hanging out with Nelly and his entourage. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Nelly invited her to join him at an after-party, and she got into an SUV with him.

She says the SUV brought them to Nelly's tour bus which was parked in a Walmart parking lot. She boarded and walked to the back of the bus ... where Nelly's bedroom was. Greene says she sat down on the bed, and Nelly started masturbating.

According to the suit, Nelly then had sex with Greene against her will ... both orally and vaginally. Greene says she tried to dissuade him by saying he needed to wear a condom, but he refused and continued assaulting her. Afterward, Greene says she was screaming she wanted off the bus ... and an entourage member pushed her off, and Nelly threw a $100 bill at her and said, "Bye bye."

She says Nelly taunted her from the bus as she stood in the parking lot. Greene says she called an Uber, and while waiting she also called 911. Police showed up, interviewed Greene and Nelly ... and arrested him for 2nd degree rape. Greene says police took her to a medical center for treatment and to complete a rape kit.

Greene is also suing for defamation, claiming after his arrest Nelly and his team began a smear campaign ... saying she was only after "money, fame and notoriety."

As we first reported ... prosecutors dropped the criminal case against Nelly when Greene refused to testify. In her lawsuit, she says she felt she couldn't "stand up against a celebrity and that the criminal system would fail her."

Sylvester Stallone is ready to demand police investigate a woman who, he's been told, filed a report claiming he raped her 27 years ago ... TMZ has learned.

Stallone's attorney, Marty Singer, tells us he believes the woman recently filed a false police report with Santa Monica PD. Singer says this all started more than a month ago when a media outlet, not TMZ, informed him the woman was alleging Stallone raped her in 1990 in his Santa Monica office.

Stallone denies the allegation. He admits he had spent 3 days with her during a 1987 movie shoot in Israel. He was single, she was not a minor and he says there was never a rape. He also denies he saw her at all in 1990.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the media outlet that contacted Singer refused to publish the woman's story due to a lack of corroborating evidence, and because, at that time, she had not filed a police report -- not in 1990, and not at any time since then.

We're told the woman finally did file a police report with Santa Monica PD in mid-November. However, the media outlet still did not publish. Our sources say it appears she filed the report in an effort to get the story out to the public, but failed.

However, Singer says a different reporter called him Tuesday and stated, definitively, that the woman -- who sources say was once married to a convicted killer-for-hire -- had now filed a police report. Singer says he contacted Santa Monica PD late Tuesday night to confirm the report, but the investigations division was closed.

Michael Jackson's estate and his companies are off the hook in the alleged child molestation lawsuit filed after the singer's death.

An L.A. County judge dismissed Wade Robson's 2013 suit on Tuesday ... saying he filed too late for the estate to be held liable -- and Robson's attempt to recast it as a lawsuit against Michael's companies was off the mark.

Robson had claimed MJ's companies facilitated the singer's pattern of child molestation and helped him lure victims. In the ruling, the judge said IF Jackson had molested Robson, his companies couldn't be held liable because they had no control over the singer ... essentially, MJ was the boss.

The judge did not rule on the merits of Robson's molestation claims.

What's more, the judge said Robson coming into contact with Jackson had nothing to do with his companies ... since it was Robson's own mom who reached out to MJ and asked him to help her son's career.

12/20 10:30 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Williams went to the station and accused Norman of stalking her, claiming she spotted him driving past her house a few times last week and he was even parked in front of it one day. However, we're told there's no investigation into Norman at this time.

Ex-"Basketball Wives" star Jennifer Williams allegedly has it out for her ex-boyfriend, who claims she tried to run him down with her car once.

James "Tim" Norman filed for a restraining order against Jennifer, and in the docs says she's taken rage out on his car. James says he was driving around Sunday afternoon in L.A. when he spotted Jennifer tailing him.

According to the docs, James parked at home and an hour later went outside to find 2 of his tires slashed. He reported it to cops, and says this was just the latest incident. In the docs, he says last summer -- when they were still dating, mind you -- Jennifer got behind the wheel of HIS car, and tried to run him down. James -- who's on the reality show "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" -- says he had to dive out of the way or die.

He also claims she's broken into his pad, sent him harassing texts and threatened he's "playing with the wrong one." James says they broke up in September, and Jen's just angry he's moved on with a new gf.
