Richie Incognito calls Jonathan Martin his best friend on the Miami Dolphins -- and says he's worried about him ... even though Martin's allegations of hazing got Richie suspended ... TMZ has learned.

Incognito talked today for the first time about the scandal ... with FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer. Sources on the FOX set tell us Incognito wasn't exactly apologetic for his actions -- but instead expressed deep concern about Martin's health since he left the team.

We're told Incognito was willing to answer any and all questions about the controversy -- including alleged threats against Martin's family, and the infamous voicemail he left ... where he allegedly called Martin a "half n***a."

Pretty surprising for Incognito to refer to Martin as his "best friend" ... considering his accusations could ultimately ruin Incognito's NFL career.

The interview will air during tomorrow's FOX NFL Sunday pregame show.

It's unclear if Incognito addressed the video TMZ posted of him raging in a sports bar, yelling the n-word -- but we'd bet it came up.

A fan and close friend of Blink 182 was rushed to an L.A. hospital last night during the band's sold-out concert at the Hollywood Palladium -- after falling from a 2nd-story balcony inside the building, Blink's rep tells TMZ.

Witnesses described the mayhem on Twitter, saying the fan fell "face first" while Blink was playing "Dammit" and looked in rough shape after the accident. The fall was roughly 15-20 feet, but witnesses say he was responsive.

One witness who was standing under the balcony tells TMZ, the man landed right next to her and his body made the "gnarliest splat on the ground ... I can still hear the sound. It was awful." He didn't land on anyone. The witness says he had blood all over his face.

According to the rep, the fan is a "dear friend" of the band, but the rep wouldn't be more specific.

It's unclear how the fan fell, and whether his injuries are life-threatening. He's currently being treated at a local hospital. The rep says the band is in touch with the man's family.

1:00 PM PT -- Chad just apologized about the incident on Twitter, saying, "I want to apologize for my inappropriate antics at the drum clinic,my joke about team rivalries went too far. Flamenco [sic] fans...I'm sorry."

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith might leave Brazil with some extra scar tissue ... 'cause a ton of fans in the country want him dead after he desecrated the jersey of the most popular club team in South America.

Chad made a big mistake Sunday afternoon in Belo Horizonte during a drum clinic when he was gifted a Flamengo soccer club jersey -- and shoved it down the back of his pants, as if to say he wipes his ass with it.

The crowd immediately boo'ed the crap out of Chad ... and one unruly fan even threw something at his HEAD!

RHCP already performed a few shows since the debacle ... but a big group of fans are just catching wind of what happened ... and now they're vowing to raise hell at tomorrow's RHCP concert in Rio.

One angry Flamengo fan wrote a death threat in the comments section of the YouTube page where the video was posted -- saying, "Will arrive in Rio de Janeiro you will die motherf***er."

Another said, "the fans of Flamengo wants to kill you, are already planning to invade his show to throw rocks at you."

Janice Dickinson is hailing herself as a HERO this morning ... after chasing down a man suspected of jacking a bag from a male go-go dancer, TMZ has learned.

The whole thing started around 5:30 AM outside the famous Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood -- when one of the go-go dancers, Sean Goodman, was doing a live TV interview with a local news reporter.

During the interview, the reporter announced that she JUST watched someone steal Sean's bag off the sidewalk -- and that cops were chasing after the suspect.

Enter Janice ... who says she saw the chase, and decided to drive after the perp in her SUV. Eventually, JD says she caught up to the guy and cornered him in an alley ... and kept him trapped until cops arrived.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... the suspect was arrested on suspicion of robbery (they believe he may have been involved in a related incident earlier this morning).

Sean tells us he got his bag back -- and says, "Big thank you to Janice Dickinson for helping out and being on the scene!”

Chris Brown has become a Halloween nightmare for 2 big nightclubs that now have anger issues of their own ... because Brown has bailed on them.

Chris was booked to host a party at the Conga Room in L.A. tomorrow night, followed by another hosting gig Friday with GF Karrueche at Haze nightclub in Vegas.

We've learned both clubs just got word Chris will be a no-show. As TMZ first reported, the singer will stay put in a Malibu rehab joint for up to 3 months so he can deal with his anger issues.

But here's the thing. Even Karrueche bailed.

The show at Haze will go on. As for the Conga gig, the event has been cancelled.

Chris Brown has just entered a rehab facility for anger management issues ... presumably to deal with his temper problems and to blunt a possible prison sentence.

Sources tell TMZ ... Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, just dropped him off at a facility in Malibu. The move doesn't come a day too soon.

We've learned the L.A. County probation department is going full bore in its investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna case by getting arrested in D.C. over the weekend ... after allegedly punching a guy in the nose.

Sources tell TMZ, Brown flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today.

We're told it's likely the Probation Department will determine that Brown violated his probation, and a judge could sentence him to as much as 4 years in prison.

Along with Geragos, we're told his mom and GF Karrueche accompanied Chris to the facility. Geragos and the others went to dinner after dropping Chris off. We asked him about Chris, but he wanted to talk about his meal (see video below).

The rehab move could show a measure of good faith and contrition.

Mrs. Krabappel WILL be written off "The Simpsons" in the wake of the death of the actress who voiced the character ... but it's not going to happen for a while, TMZ has learned.

TMZ spoke with "Simpsons" E.P. Al Jean who tells us ... no one could possibly fill Marcia Wallace's shoes as the voice of Ned Flanders' 2nd wife -- so they're not even going to try.

Al says producers do plan to write Edna off the show -- but there's no rush, because the series is produced so far in advance, Marcia had a year's worth of episodes recorded when she passed away.

TMZ broke the story ... Edna is NOT the mystery character that producers had planned to kill off the show this coming season. Al wouldn't say how Edna will leave Springfield.

As for Marcia, we're told the legendary comedy actress will be laid to rest in the next few days in a private ceremony.

Chris Brown just got cut a big break ... the assault charge has just been reduced from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR ... and Chris pled not guilty. Chris has just been released without bail. He's also required to stay 100 yards away from the victim.

Chris had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge just vacated that order. It's standard in such cases to order a drug test, but that has been cancelled.

The bodyguard's charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

TMZ broke the story ... Brown was arrested for felony assault early Sunday morning in Washington D.C. after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel and breaking his nose.

Brown allegedly got into an argument with a man, said "I'm not down with that gay s**t, I'm into boxing," and then punched him in the nose.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the fight started when the man and his friend photobombed Chris, who was posing for a picture with two girls.

Sources close to Chris insist the fight wasn't over a photo -- they say the alleged victim tried to force his way onto Chris' tour bus, and Chris was merely trying to stop a trespass.

Brown has been in custody since the incident.

3:45 PM PDT: TMZ has just obtained witness statements, some of which conflict. Chris DENIES punching the victim. According to Chris' statement, he claims he was on his tour bus when the victim tried getting on and his bodyguard "handled it."

The victim says he was trying to get a pic with Chris and Brown allegedly said, "I ain't down wit that gay s**t." The victim told cops he responded by saying, "Why you hoing?" Chris then said, "I feel like boxing." The victim says Chris then threw the punch and the victim says he then squared off with Chris and then the bodyguard also hit the victim in the face.

According to the victim, after the bodyguard punched him, Chris got BEHIND the bodyguard and screamed, "Yeah, walk away."

The police say the victim was treated for a fractured nasal bone.

Jason Aldean's tour bus ran over and killed a man early this morning in Indiana ... TMZ has learned.

The accident occurred around 1:30 AM when Aldean's bus ran into a man who walked into the middle of the road ... law enforcement officials tell us.

Cops say Aldean was on the bus when the crash occurred.

We're told the bus driver was not at fault. In fact, cops tell us the driver did everything he could in an effort to minimize impact.

Sheriff Michael Morris tells us the victim was often seen walking around town ... but it's unclear why he walked into traffic.

Quincy Jones says he's been double-crossed by Sony and Michael Jackson Productions (aka MJJ) ... claiming the 2 companies intentionally aced him out of his cut of Michael's music.

Jones has sued MJJ Productions and Sony ... claiming he owns a big chunk of "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad" because he produced all of them. Jones claims Sony and MJJ concocted a scheme to edit and remix the original songs and put them into new ventures such as the "This Is It" movie, the Cirque du Soleil stage show and the 25th Anniversary of the "Bad" album and then deny him royalties.

The allegations are even worse. Jones says MJJ and Sony created a shell game and diverted millions of bucks away from what is rightfully his.

Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the Michael Jackson Estate, tells TMZ, "The Estate of Michael Jackson was saddened to learn that Quincy Jones has filed a lawsuit seeking money from Michael's Estate. To the best of our knowledge, Mr. Jones has been appropriately compensated over approximately 35 years for his work with Michael."

Weird Al Yankovic is the danger ... HE IS THE ONE WHO KNOCKS ... at least on his birthday.

The singer and self-professed "Breaking Bad" fan turned 54 today, and marked the occasion just like Walter White does on the show -- arranging his bacon in the shape of his age -- but Al tells us, there's something special about his bacon ... it's veggie.

Jenna Jameson was a MESS during a live TV interview this morning ... slurring and stumbling as if she was wasted on-air ... and it was so bad, sources tell TMZ that producers cut her segment short.

The 39-year-old porn legend appeared on "Good Day New York" -- promoting her first novel, "Sugar" -- and we're told she was supposed to stay for two complete segments.

But after the first couple of minutes, it was clear Jenna was out of it (at the very least) ... and producers made the decision to cut off JJ before the second segment.

Jenna has struggled with substance abuse in the past .. she pled guilty to DUI last year after crashing her car into a light pole in Orange County, CA. Officials say she had two types of prescription drugs in her system at the time of the incident.

Jenna's ex Tito Ortiz has also said Jenna is hooked on Oxycontin -- but Jenna has denied those allegations.

The FBI, the Boston PD, the Dept. of Homeland Security ... just about every law enforcement group in the land will be patrolling the Boston area in force during the World Series in an effort to thwart a possible terrorist attack, TMZ has learned.

In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing back in April, the city is taking every possible measure to make sure people are safe when the Series comes to Beantown on Wednesday.

TMZ spoke with multiple law enforcement agencies ... who told us the Boston PD will be in charge of coordinating the plan to keep the area safe.

The police presence will be huge -- and in your face -- with uniformed and undercover officers, bomb-sniffing dogs, snipers and other counterterrorism measures in place.

Still, cops tell us ... as usual, they count on the people to provide tips if they see anything suspicious. See something, say something.

A shooting at Drai's nightclub in Las Vegas this morning has left at least 1 person dead and 2 others injured ... TMZ has learned.

Here's what went down ... witnesses tell TMZ a person, who appeared to be a white male, was loitering in the cashier area of the famous after-hours club around 5:45 AM.

When the man was approached by a club employee and asked to move, the suspect pulled out a gun and started yelling back at the staff.

One witness tells us someone in the area (not a member of the security team) tried to apprehend the suspect ... and that's when shots began to ring out.

We're told at least one person died from a gunshot and at least 2 others were injured.

The man was eventually taken into custody.

Drai's has been a staple in Vegas for years -- and has been popular with huge stars like Paris Hilton and Nick Cannon.
