Christy Martin vows she will never fight in California again, because the California State Athletic Commission just refused to overturn what she called a sexist decision in her last fight.

The commission met moments ago in L.A. and heard testimony about the referee's decision to stop Christy's June fight against Dakota Stone, after the fight doctor determined Christy's hand was too injured to keep fighting. Christy's lawyer, Gloria Allred, had argued the ref would never have stopped the fight if men were in the ring.

The commission refused to overturn the decision -- so Christy now swears ... she will NEVER fight in California ever again.

"Jurassic Park" star Laura Dern took a swipe at a police officer earlier this week during a routine traffic stop -- accidentally handing the guy her CREDIT CARD instead of her driver's license.

Law enforcement tells TMZ, Laura was pulled over for driving with a malfunctioning light -- but the cop let her off with a warning ... no ticket, no nothing.

NBA star Kendrick Perkins was arrested in Beaumont, TX this morning for public intoxication and disorderly conduct ... TMZ has learned.

Perkins -- who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder -- was booked into Jefferson County Jail at around 4:00 AM. According to the jail, he posted $251 bond and was released shortly thereafter.

The charges are both misdemeanors.

According to one report, fellow NBAer Stephen Jackson was arrested as well -- but a jail employee told TMZ he was NOT taken into custody or booked on any charges.

Perkins was reportedly in town for a charity basketball game, but that was canceled after Perkins was in the hospital briefly Thursday night for what was thought to be food poisoning.

The prostitute who was arrested for burglary after Alex Trebek chased her down a hotel hallway told police -- she was in the hotel to meet a John, but it was NOT Alex.

TMZ spoke with the prostitute's lawyer, Mark Jacobs, who tells us Lucinda Moyers just happened to be on the same floor where Alex was fast asleep with his wife. Jacobs says there's no proof Lucinda entered Alex's room and stole anything, but he did not explain why Alex would have chased her down the hallway, injuring his Achilles tendon.

Jacobs is insistent -- Alex is "an innocent victim."

President Obama's personal credit rating seems to be doing just fine -- because the Commander-In-Chief slapped down some plastic to cover the bill at a burger lunch yesterday ... and tipped more than 35%.

Obama hit up Ted's Bulletin restaurant in D.C. yesterday where he surprised a group of campaign volunteers who had won an essay contest.

Sources connected to the restaurant tell TMZ ... the President ordered a plain cheeseburger, fries, and side salad ... and an ice cold glass of water to wash it down.

We're told Obama asked for the bill personally -- and picked up the tab for the entire group on his credit card. In total, with tip, Obama dropped over $200.

One person who was inside the restaurant tells us, "He couldn't have been nicer."

Actor Kiowa Gordon -- who plays shapeshifting werewolf Embry Call in the "Twilight" movies -- was arrested in Tempe, Arizona early Monday morning ... this according to the Tempe Police Department.

Gordon was NOT busted for DUI, as reported by local AZ media -- but rather, he was arrested for an active warrant stemming from a drug paraphernalia possession arrest in 2010.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the 21-year-old actor was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a "routine registration check" in Tempe around 6:12 AM.

During the stop, cops discovered there was an active warrant for Gordon's arrest -- so they took the actor into custody and booked him into a local jail.

10:00 AM: TMZ has obtained the police report from Gordon's 2010 arrest ... in which the actor was popped for carrying a glass marijuana pipe and for being in possession of alcohol while he was underage.

According to the report, Gordon's beverage of choice was Four Loko -- a drink that has been banned in several states.

The guitarist for George Clinton's famous Parliament-Funkadelic band says she's desperate to get her custom shredstick back after it was stolen last week -- and her HEALTH depends on it!!

Shaunna Hall tells TMZ ... the $5,000 guitar (pictured above) was stolen from the P-Funk tour bus, in Memphis, on August 5. But what REALLY sucks is ... the instrument was specifically designed to accommodate a painful physical affliction she sustained after a bad accident last year.

Hall says her neck and shoulder were injured in the accident -- and ever since the incident, traditional wood guitars are simply too heavy for her to play for several hours at a time.

We're told the custom guitar is made from carbon fiber -- weighing a mere 4.5 pounds -- which puts less stress on her sensitive neck and shoulder ... helping her endure performing a full concert.

Levi Johnston's little sister HATES Bristol Palin ... calling her "evil" and a "sociopath" in a new Playboy interview. Oh, and she also gets naked.

19-year-old Mercede Johnston (above left) just WENT OFF about the entire Palin crew -- calling Sarah Palin a bad mom who's "never there for [her kids]" ... adding, "She doesn't make her kids go to school. She'd rather parade them around and put on a show, at book signings or conventions."

As for Bristol -- "Everything is about her, her, her. She has to have her own way. She'll be supersweet and then she turns into the most evil person I've ever known ... Honestly, she is the meanest person."

Mercede adds, "I didn't know someone could be so vindictive and evil ...[She's] a sociopath. She doesn't think anything she could do or does is wrong."

Mercede also claims Bristol and Levi PLANNED their pregnancy -- saying, "They were trying to conceive for months."

Casey Abrams didn't plan on revealing to the world he was dealing with ulcerative colitis when he became a contestant on "American Idol" -- but then he became hospitalized, and saw himself splashed all over TMZ, and decided to speak out.

Abrams recently announced he's the spokesperson for a national disease awareness campaign called IBD Icons, designed to let people know that living with an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) isn't the end of the world.

Abrams tells TMZ he didn't know how to handle his disease when he went on "Idol," which landed him in the hospital -- and he read all about it on TMZ. He told us, "It's kind of funny that right when I went to the hospital and checked TMZ, the headline was 'Casey Abrams Hospitalized.'"

Now he's using his "Idol" fame to raise awareness about the disease, telling us, "I want people to send in their stories of how they overcomeit. I don't have the best speaking skills, but people know who I am and I feel they might listen to a familiar face. I feel I have a responsibility to step up and talk about this really graphic disease."

Lady Gaga's hit song "Judas" is a total rip-off of a 1999 song called "Juda" ... so says a singer named Rebecca Francescatti ... who just filed a lawsuit against Gaga in federal court.

Rebecca claims the similarities between the two songs are NOT a coincidence ... because her former bass player -- Brian Gaynor -- is now employed by a music company that wrote 17 songs on Gaga's recent "Born This Way" album.

Rebecca's lawyer, Chris Niro, tells TMZ, "Though the songs are different styles, the composition is the same and the chorus is the same melody ... [Rebecca] is seeking recognition for what she created."

Francescatti, who sings under the name Rebecca F., is suing for unspecified damages.

Former NFL great Charles "Bubba" Smith -- who later starred in the "Police Academy" movies -- was found dead today in his Los Angeles home. He was 66 years old.

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ ... LAPD received a 911 call at 12:54PM today -- and officers responded to his home in the Baldwin Hills area. The fire department also responded and we're told Smith was dead when authorities arrived.

The L.A. County Coroner is on the scene investigating. We're told, at this point, authorities think he died of natural causes.

According to the L.A. Times, Bubba's caretaker discovered the body and called police. His autopsy will be performed later this week.

Bubba -- a towering 6'7" -- spent 9 seasons as a defensive end in the NFL, playing for the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders, and Houston Oilers.

He won Super Bowl V with the Colts -- but is most famous for his role as the giant and lovable Moses Hightower in 6 of the "Police Academy" movies.

Casey Anthony now has a 10AM deadline to check in with her probation officer in Orlando tomorrow -- and law enforcement officials tell TMZ there will NOT be an extra show of force for her arrival.

This morning on "Today" ... Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, said there is "an issue of safety" -- but the Department of Corrections Orlando Intake Office says it "does not have the resources to provide extra security" for Anthony.

Orlando PD also says they won't provide security ... and the local sheriff is still assessing the situation.

If Anthony fails to show up by the deadline ... she would be in violation of her current probation order -- at which point, we're told, a judge would likely issue a bench warrant for her arrest.

UPDATE: Casey will no longer have to check in with her probation officer tomorrow, according to members of her defense team -- but it's unclear why there's been a sudden change in plans.

It's all for a company called FLOW Formal -- a New York-based tux manufacturer -- and CEO Brian Weintraub tells us, Sitch is the perfect spokesperson ... because the company is trying to target a younger demographic.

Jamie McCourt says she's already racked up $9.9 million in bills from the lawyers working her nasty divorce from L.A. Dodgers owner Frank McCourt ... and she expects to drop at least $7 million more.

Jamie just filed legal documents in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming Frank is in control of the family fortune ... and she wants the judge to order Frank to send her more money so she can continue to make her legal payments.

According to the docs, Jamie's lawyers ain't cheap -- and they charge anywhere from $325-per-hour to $940-per-hour. FYI -- the McCourts filed for divorce back in 2009.

The Minnesota Vikings officially released him moments ago -- but 335-pound left tackle Bryant McKinnie tells TMZ, it was his decision ... after the team sidelined him over health concerns.

McKinnie tells us, his agent put in word with the Vikings moments ago -- before they officially cut him loose -- asking honchos to release McKinnie... so he can sign with another team before the season starts.

McKinnie was placed on the reserve/non-injury list yesterday, after doctors said his cholesterol was too high and he had to lose weight -- but McKinnie tells us, "I'll definitely be ready for [this upcoming season]. That's not even a question."

Charlie Sheen has dropped his extortion lawsuit against the porn star who locked herself in a bathroom during his Plaza hotel meltdown last year -- but we're told ... it's only because the chick is M.I.A.

Sources on Charlie's legal team tell TMZ, it's true ... they pulled the plug on the lawsuit against Capri Anderson -- in which Charlie accused her of trying to extort him for $1 million -- but they did it "without prejudice" ... which means they can re-file the same suit whenever they want.

Charlie hasn't given up the fight -- according to sources, the only reason he dropped the suit was because he couldn't track Capri down to serve her with papers ... porn stars are slippery.

But if Charlie's people find her ... we're told the lawsuit could be back in play.
