Kim Kardashian kicked butt in a lawsuit filed against her by a maid.

As we first reported, Kim's former maid, Isabel Hernandez, filed suit against both Kim and her former hubby, Damon Thomas, claiming they stiffed her to the tune of $29,000 in back wages between 2006 - 2008.

Kim's defense was simple -- she moved out of the house in 2003 and divorced Thomas in 2004 ... so she had nothing to do with it.

Isabel folded like a cheap suit and filed a dismissal against Kim. We're told Kim didn't have to pay her a penny.

Isabel's suit against Damon is still active.

In new legal docs filed in D.C., Letterman -- along with Sacha Baron Cohen and other defendants -- claim that the $110 million defamation lawsuit filed by a self-described Palestinian man named Ayman Abu Aita should be dismissed ... partially because "Palestine is not recognized as a foreign nation by the United States."

Dave was dragged into the lawsuit because he ran the "terrorist" clip from the "Bruno" on his show last year when Cohen was a guest. Abu Aita had claimed that he is simply a shopkeeper ... and not a member of the militant Al-Asqa Martyrs' Brigade.

According to the docs filed by Letterman's lawyers, the lawsuit cannot proceed in the United States because Abu Aita and Cohen are both foreigners.

The judge has yet to rule on the motion to dismiss.

A few years back, Smith hung out in the studio with rappers Ditch and Shock G (of Digital Underground fame) while they recorded a track.

Smith can be seen dancing along with the music, drinking a little champagne, and smoking ... something.

TMZ has more information on the emails a Newport News, Virginia man sent to ESPN's Erin Andrews ... and it's scary.

TMZ broke the story that sexual as well as violent emails targeting Erin have been sent to "The Dan Patrick Show" since last September.

Law enforcement sources have given TMZ specifics about the threats to Erin, who is currently a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars."

March 29, 2010 -- "Dear Dan: I hope Erin Andrews gets murdered in L.A."

March 26, 2010 -- "I hope she gets shot in the face. I would love to see if she can dance away from a hail of gunfire. That would really make my day."

March 14, 2010 -- "I would love to get close enough to her to show her my suicide vest."

And, sources say, there are emails that pose even more of a direct threat to Erin.

We are told the FBI knows the identity of the man who sent the emails. In fact, the man didn't even try hiding his identity in the emails.

TMZ has learned alleged homewrecker Melissa Smith had the audacity to show up yesterday to Jesse's Long Beach restaurant -- Cisco Burger.

We're told Smith chowed down on a spicy black bean veggie burger ... because alleged mistresses need to watch their weight too.

Here's what went down -- we're told the van pulled up at around 6:45 PM and stayed for about an hour. Two movers moved out a couch, a love seat and tons of boxes.

A man and a woman arrived to the place in a separate car along with the moving van. When they arrived, the movers took something out of the van and put it into the other car. The man and woman packed a few things into their car as well.

Jesse's mom's car was parked out at the house for most of the day, but wasn't there while the movers did their thing.

It's the only girl he's allowed to pick up these days.

TMZ has learned the emails targeting Erin Andrews were initially sexual and then turned extremely violent -- in one case the writer threatened to gun her down in L.A.

Sources say the emails to "The Dan Patrick Show" began September 16, 2009 -- the email that day was sexual in nature.

That email was followed by sexual emails on October 5, October 28, November 16, and December 2.

Beginning on March 14, the emails turned violent ... and continued on with two on March 29 and one on March 31.

The threatened violence escalated in each email.

There was yet another sexual email on March 22, in between the violent ones.

Many of the emails were sent during the criminal case of Erin's stalker, Michael David Barrett.

TMZ has learned Erin Andrews is outraged at DirecTV for not telling her about the sick, twisted, threatening emails until yesterday -- even though the predator had been sending them since last September.

Erin's lawyer, Marshall Grossman, tells TMZ, "We are outraged that these emails did not come to our attention until now."

TMZ has learned security for DirecTV -- which broadcasts "The Dan Patrick Show" -- notified Grossman Thursday, even though the first sexual email was sent September 16, 2009 and the emails turned violent on March 14.

Grossman says Erin is "having a tough time."

A rep for DirecTV tells TMZ, "DIRECTV executives at the Dan Patrick Show became aware of the threatening emails on March 30 and immediately notified DIRECTV corporate security who then immediately contacted the appropriate authorities and representatives of Erin Andrews."

He hasn't officially retired yet -- but TMZ has learned former Pro Bowl linebacker Antonio Pierce is already lining up his next gig ... off the field.

Pierce -- the guy who was with Plaxico Burress on the night he shot himself in New York -- just wrapped up a private audition to be an in-studio football analyst with ESPN.

Interesting, considering the recently released NY Giants star claims he's been receiving calls from several teams around the league who still want Pierce to play -- including the St. Louis Rams.

But sources close to Pierce tell us dude would rather take a studio job than play for the league's worst team.

TMZ has learned Bombshell is putting on her g-string and hopping back on stage at Pure Platinum Gentleman's Club in San Diego tonight -- check out the sign out front just moments ago.

TMZ has obtained a statement from Erin Andrews' lawyer, confirming the story TMZ broke a few minutes ago -- that Erin is the target of death threats which are being investigated by the FBI.

Attorney Marshall Grossman tells TMZ:

"It is correct that within the past few days death threats have been made against Erin Andrews. As soon as we learned of them the FBI was notified. They are on the case."

Grossman goes on ... "Erin and her family are protected. It is unfortunate that there are sick people who prey on the fears and threaten the well being of others. Erin is not alone among those who have to deal with such predators."

And Grossman says, "Erin is looking forward to the future and will keep all of her commitments including her appearance on 'Dancing with the Stars.' We ask that the privacy of Erin and her family be respected."

TMZ has learned Erin Andrews has been the target of several recent death threats, and the FBI is now on the case.

Our sources say three emails were sent to "The Dan Patrick Show" -- a sports talk show which airs on both radio and TV.

Sources tell us the emails -- sent on March 26, 29 and 30 from a man in Newport News, VA. -- are direct threats against Andrews. One reads, "Somebody should shoot her in the face."

A second email says, "I'm one in a million. She'll never see me coming."

TMZ has learned the FBI is now on the case. As for ESPN's Andrews, there is increased security on the set of "Dancing with the Stars."

Andrews was famously victimized by Michael David Barrett, who taped her through a peephole in several hotel rooms. He's been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.

UPDATE: We are now told there are more than three emails that were sent to "The Dan Patrick Show" through its website.

UPDATE: Erin has appeared on Dan Patrick's show, but not on the days the emails were sent.

Tia Carrere has filed for divorce from her husband of 7 years, TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, which Tia filed today -- in person -- at L.A. County Superior Court, Tia has cited irreconcilable differences with her husband, photo journalist Simon Wakelin.

The couple has a 4-year-old daughter together.

According to the docs, the 43-year-old "Wayne's World" star is asking for sole physical custody of the child.

Tia has experience with the divorce process -- she split from her first husband, Elie Samaha back in 2000.

Erykah Badu will be charged with disorderly conduct over her nude video shoot that took place in the middle of Dallas ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say the announcement will be made at a news conference held by the Dallas Police Department momentarily.

Erykah took her clothes off in the middle of Dealey Plaza -- the place where JFK was assassinated in 1963 -- for a music video shoot.

A Texas woman filed an indecency complaint with the PD.

UPDATE 6:17 PM ET: Cops say they have charged Badu with disorderly conduct and will mail her a citation. Badu faces up to a $500 fine.

We first reported that Lindsay was behind on her rent, but Dina is saying it's just not so. TMZ has seen copies of two bounced checks, from Lindsay to her landlord, both written this year ... both of which have been stamped on the front with the words, "RETURN REASON - NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS. NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS."

We spoke with Dina, who says she didn't know anything about bounced checks. Dina says Lindsay has her business manager write her checks, and the one who she used in February is no longer working with her.
