The guy who played Parker Lewis in the 90s sitcom "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" is slowly piecing his old life together after a near-death boating accident left him with a shattered leg ... starting with a casual trip to the grocery store.

The grocery run pic was snapped earlier this month -- and 41-year-old Corin Nemec tells TMZ, getting back into his old swing of things is really tough, especially in a wheelchair ... which he'll be stuck in for at least four more months.

And to add insult to injury, Nemec tells us, he's already had his first embarrassing moment -- after his motorized cart stalled out at the supermarket ... and he was stuck in the aisle, yelling for help.

As we reported, Nemec nearly died in the January accident in Belize, while filming “Poseidon Rex." Nemec was riding on a Coast Guard vessel when it crashed into a barge ... breaking his femur in 3 places.

Nemec's making a solid recovery ... but says if he doesn't heal to his doc's satisfaction, he'll have to undergo bone grafting surgery.

Michael Crabtree's ego has fully recovered from that huge blown call that cost him the Super Bowl -- because he now boldly predicts ... he is the FUTURE OF THE NFL!

The funniest part is ... we weren't even talking about him when he said it.

Here's the scene: the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver was leaving BOA Steakhouse with Dallas Cowboys stud receiver Dez Bryant last night -- and we asked the young stars about NFL rule changes intended to protect players from head injuries.

Neither guy replied ... so we moved on to another topic.

Paula Deen's no better than the rest of us when it comes to weight loss -- 'cause she just confessed she's a low down dirty diet cheater, and her main offense is that golden god ... the french fry.

But when we asked what food she cooks that she wishes she could eat ... Paula copped to giving into french fries.

Lil Wayne has gone from seizures to BBQ on the brain. Swag was at an all-time low last week, but now he's turnt up major ... you gotta watch Wayne in this video which he gave to TMZ.

Sarah Palin attempted to mock the proposed ban on large sodas in New York City by sipping on a Big Gulp during her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference yesterday.

For those of you outside of the Big Apple, Mayor Bloomberg is trying to implement a ban on soda cups bigger than 16 ounces ... in the interest of health.

The former VP hopeful took a dig at Bloomberg when she brought the large cup on stage and said, "Bloomberg’s not around. Our Big Gulp’s safe."

Seems no one told Palin that the 7-Eleven Big Gulp is NOT part of the proposed ban.

It costs a FORTUNE to feed 23 mouths ... just ask TLC reality star Jim Bob Duggar who took his enormous family out for burgers in NYC yesterday -- and we know exactly how much they spent.

Jim Bob -- along with his wife Michelle and 21 other family members -- hit up Bill's Bar & Burger in Manhattan ... splurging on burgers, shakes, fries, onion rings, you name it.

FYI -- Burgers start at $7.95 and could double in price if you want cheese and/or another burger patty. Shakes run in the $6 range ... $4 for fries ... $8 for nachos ... $2 per soda.

Buuuuut ... the "19 Kids & Counting" fam did get a nice discount ... 6 of the children qualified for the kids menu -- $7.95 per meal.

It's been almost 25 years since Orel Hershiser fireballed the L.A. Dodgers past the Oakland A's in the 1988 World Series ... and this week, he reminded everyone of his former greatness by rocking his championship ring to dinner in Bev Hills.

Orel -- who's now part of ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" team -- was out at Madeo with friends this weekend ... when we noticed a large, shiny, blue object on his pitching hand.

Turns out, Orel still believes in showing off the goods in public ... 'cause the bling turned out to be his '88 ring ... and Orel was quick to flash it to the cameras.

There's no such thing as a free lunch ... at least not in the soap opera world, a lesson Tony Todd recently learned the hard way.

Todd -- a notorious character actor from movies like "Candyman" and a few "Final Destination" movies -- just began a run on the popular soap opera, "The Young and The Restless."

Yesterday at LAX, Todd told our photog he loves doing daytime TV ... except for the fact they don't provide food. Todd says he has to slum it at the commissary and foot the bill himself!

The first way to look at it ... It's VERY COOL that a bona fide R&B superstar went to a local Hollywood chicken wing restaurant on karaoke night and treated everyone to a live karaoke performance of his hit song "M.I.A."

The other way to look at it -- What a d-bag.

So, here's what happened ... Omarion hit up Big Wang's chicken joint in Hollywood last night ... and took the mic at the karaoke machine.

The performance was pretty damn good ... he's clearly talented. The people in the bar clearly enjoyed the performance.

But some people in the TMZ newsroom have a bit of a problem with the stunt ... saying it's pretty egotistical ... and sad ... to karaoke your own hit.

Dennis Rodman was given full dignitary treatment during his visit to North Korea, which included a ridiculous presidential feast ... TMZ has learned.

During Dennis' 3-day excursion, we're told North Korean leader Kim Jong Un threw a lavish dinner -- 15 courses, which included sushi, turkey, beef filet, kimchi, and a whole roasted pig.

After the feast, Dennis and Kim Jong were entertained by an all-girl orchestra -- the Moranbong Band. They were serenaded with American TV and movie theme songs, including "Dallas" and "Rocky."

We found video of the girls playing the "Rocky" theme song last year (below).

As for what Dennis and Kim Jong talked about ... he's not saying. We're guessing the payoff will be the HBO show which filmed the spectacle.

Adrienne Maloof is picking a food fight with Lisa Vanderpump by opening a competing restaurant ... and Adrienne is telling her business associates, she's gonna "kick Lisa's ass!"

TMZ has learned ... Adrienne -- who is leaving "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" -- is opening a restaurant in Bev Hills, just blocks from Lisa's Villa Blanca.

Adrienne is telling her business partners her restaurant will blow Villa Blanca away. In fact, she's saying on a scale of 1-10 (10 being great), her archrival's restaurant gets a 2, calling it "a disaster."

As for Adrienne's eatery, it will offer comfort food -- steaks, seafood with a Mediterranean twist. It will seat 200 people and will be "celebrity friendly" -- with a private entrance in the back.

As for Lisa, she told TMZ yesterday her business is great and said if Adrienne's been complaining that "Real Housewives" hurt her business it's her own damn fault.
