A$AP Rocky might have gone all "Rocky" on some guy in a NY clothing store, but he is adamant that he does not owe the guy a dime ... because the so-called beat down was in self-defense.

TMZ broke the story ... Shenick Alcine sued A$AP last year, claiming the rapper viciously attacked him after Shenick says he caught A$AP doing drugs inside the store.

Now, A$AP is calling bulls**t. He filed docs in NY claiming Shenick is a liar who attacked HIM and any punches thrown were in self-defense. He's asking a judge toss the suit ... ASAP (yup, went there).

A$AP was arrested for assault and robbery after the melee -- not for punching Shenick -- but for allegedly beating up two photogs who were filming the incident and trying to steal their camera. He struck a plea deal in that case -- skating with a fine and three days community service.

Corey Feldman may have found something that has eluded him for years ... sadly it's not his career ... it's his very expensive jacket.

The jacket was stolen right under Feldman's nose back in 2011 while he was hanging out at the House of Blues in L.A.. Corey wore the jacket in "Dream a Little Dream" and claims it's worth a cool $100k.

Like a missing dog that returns home after years of wandering ... the jacket has apparently resurfaced in an unlikely place ... a Massachusetts flea market. A man claims he plunked down several thousand bucks for the garment -- yeah, that sounded weird to us too.

The man says he was intrigued by his purchase, did some hunting on the Internet and saw Corey's story.

Now he says he wants to do the right thing and return the jacket to it's rightful owner ... for a price, of course. And a profit to boot.

Preppy Ralph Lauren should stick to yachting ... because his driving sucks ... according to a new lawsuit.

Ralph invited Oprah to his opulent, well-decorated Colorado Double RL Ranch back in 2011. One of them had a bright idea -- doing an interview in his vintage 1948 Jeep ... which we're guessing smelled like perfumed potpourri.

A guy who was outfitting the whip with microphones was working near the back bumper when Ralph took the wheel and suddenly shifted into reverse ... violently striking him -- at least that's what he alleges in a new lawsuit.

The dude -- who worked for Harpo -- says he suffered injuries to his head, body and limbs, muscles, tissues, nerves and blood vessels in his head. He wants more than $50k to cover his troubles and is suing both Ralph and Harpo.

Prince Jackson was fully armed yesterday during a brief standoff with the LAPD ... wearing a revealing bright green Euro-trash muscle tee that completely exposed his boyish pythons.

The photog on scene says 16-year-old Prince -- who's only been driving a few months -- was given a warning for illegal strobe lights on the grill of his new truck. Prince removed them and went on his way.

It's a far cry from the boy Michael Jackson shielded for years.

Katy Perry doesn't give good oral ... agreements according to a lawsuit from a British hair care company that wants to cut ties with the pop singer because it claims her popularity ain't what it used to be.

According to the suit ... Perry had a $4.5 million written contract to promote "ghd" (stands for "good hair day") products for two years starting in 2011. Her agent claims Katy's owed an additional $2 mil based on an oral agreement to extend her contract.

But in the docs ... the company behind "ghd", Jemella Group, insists there was never an oral agreement -- and they decided not to renew Perry's deal because market research shows Europeans just aren't that into her anymore.

Jemella says Perry's agent has been threatening to sue for the $2 mil ... so it struck first, asking the court to block team Perry from filing a lawsuit.

Katy's rep tells TMZ, "Jemella's attempt to embarrass Ms. Perry by including defamatory statements about her in a public filing is shameful." The rep says they plan to sue over the money Katy's owed if Jemella doesn't pay up.

Katy tells us, "They're backing out of the deal because of an ownership change, and just throwing shade to hide their bad faith."

The stars may not get all decked out for the MTV Movie Awards like they do for the Oscars or Grammys, but that doesn't stop them from making some seriously questionable fashion choices.

This isn't a pimp and hoes costume party, it's just Snoop Lion and Ke$ha joining forces to smoke some sorta cigarette on stage at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
