Sources close to Charlie Sheen's ex-wife tell TMZ, she's FURIOUS someone is attempting to sell her intimate photos to the media -- and if anyone tries to publish them, she has promised to file a lawsuit so fast their head will spin.

As for the veracity of the pics -- we're told Brooke knows they're real ... because she took them for an ex-boyfriend.

TMZ broke the story ... Brooke believes a former disgruntled assistant is responsible for swiping the pics ... and now, Brooke's saying she plans to enforce a confidentiality agreement the assistant signed in order to bring the assistant to justice.

Michael Jordan's gettin' serious about settling down ... TMZ has learned the NBA icon applied for a marriage certificate in Florida this morning in preparation for his April wedding.

MJ and his longtime GF Yvette Prieto were spotted at the counter at the courthouse in Palm Beach County, FL ... and a court spokesperson confirmed the couple had filled out the paperwork.

Jordan and Prieto are reportedly set to get hitched on April 27.

The move seems to be proof that Prieto isn't fazed by the paternity lawsuit MJ is facing in Georgia ... filed by a woman who claims the NBA legend fathered her 16-year-old son while he was still married to Juanita Vanoy.

We've learned Jennifer has been making the rounds in L.A., interviewing schools for her 5-year-old twins, who will be starting kindergarten in the Fall.

We know she went with kids in tow Tuesday to the famous Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley ... considered by many to be the best L.A. has to offer. By the way, it better be -- tuition and other costs total $33,345 for the year -- PER KID!

And when we say Jennifer was interviewing ... she's the one -- like all the other parents -- who had to put on some snazzy clothes to impress. Lots of very rich, very famous parents try getting their kids into Buckley.

We've learned Brooke took the pics herself, just after she got out of the shower. The two pictures are really graphic. The angle is NOT flattering ... and on top of that, she's dripping wet, and not in a good way. It's kind of like looking at a topographical map of the Rockies.

Brooke sent the pics to her then-boyfriend ... a Jewish country singer.

Ultra-conservative freedom-loving Republican rock star Ted Nugent has three words for the dead former President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez -- "ADIOS MO FO."

Nugent -- a staunch anti-Communist -- tells TMZ, "All dictators, tyrants, slave-drivers and despots should die ASAP. Let freedom ring."

Chavez died yesterday following a battle with cancer.

It makes total sense Nugent would hate the guy -- Chavez was an outspoken anti-American who has long criticized America's foreign policy. During his political career, Chavez also allied with the Communist government of Cuba and the Socialist governments of other Latin American countries.

In sum, Chavez pretty much embodied everything Nugent hates about extremist left-wing politics.

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez has died ... this according to Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro.

Maduro -- who was fighting back tears during the announcement -- said Chavez died today at 4:25 PM.

Chavez had been in Cuba for months, where he was receiving treatment for a mystery illness that turned out to be cancer.

Chavez hated America ... and blamed all of the world's problems on the United States.

To paraphrase Ben Affleck ... Hugo f**k yourself.

He was 58.

Lamar Odom is in a New York courthouse right now ... battling it out with baby mama Liza Morales over child support and visitation ... and it must be exhausting because Lamar fell asleep on a bench in the hallway.

Lamar told TMZ ... he was exhausted with jet lag, which is why he fell into a deep sleep before the hearing. Cops actually became concerned because the Clippers star wasn't moving, so they nudged him awake.

On Liza's way out of court, we asked her if she happened to see Lamar snoozing ... and she laughed, saying, "He's tired."

In addition to child support and visitation, they're reportedly bickering over whether their son and daughter can appear on their reality TV shows. Lamar is on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Liza was on a show called "Starter Wives."

And get this ... we asked Lamar about being in the same restaurant last night as Kris Humphries. As we reported, they didn't speak ... but Lamar told us he didn't see Kris and would have gone up to him and said, "What's up," if he knew.

Ex-UFC champ Ricco Rodriguez -- who also appeared on the first season of "Celebrity Rehab" -- has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement, Rodriguez was busted in L.A. yesterday morning at 1:25 AM. He was subsequently booked for misdemeanor DUI. Details surrounding the arrest are unclear.

He was released several hours later on $5,000 bail.

Ricco's rep tells TMZ, "When Ricco was arrested the police officer said he blew a .1. When they had him take another breathalyzer at the station only a few minutes later he blew a .08. We are wondering how a breathalyzer dropped .02 points after a very short time." Ricco's rep says they plan to fight the charges.

Lindsay Lohan is rejecting Charlie Sheen's offer to mentor her, grousing that she wishes he'd just shut up.

Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ ... while she appreciates everything Sheen has done for her -- and he's done a lot -- she would NEVER take him as a mentor. She's saying she knows her life is "out of control," but doesn't think the precept, "It takes one to know one," is the way to go.

As we first reported ... Sheen told TMZ he thinks Lindsay needs a mentor and he believes he's the man for the job.

She says she's grateful Charlie gave her $100k for her back taxes and supported her in "Scary Movie 5." Lindsay says she talks to Charlie from time to time ... but gripes he has no business talking about her to the media.

According to our sources, Lindsay has been regularly meeting with a therapist and feels the consistency has helped.

Charlie Sheen wants to become Lindsay Lohan's savior, and he thinks he has the credentials and cred to do the job.

Charlie tells TMZ, "I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not. She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey."

He adds, "If she listens, she'll win. If she doesn't, that's on her."

You'll recall ... Charlie and Lindsay struck up a friendship while working together on "Scary Movie 5," after which Charlie cut Lindsay a $100,000 check to help with her tax problems. Lindsay's now returning the favor by appearing in an upcoming episode of "Anger Management" -- actually, that may be Charlie doing Lindsay another solid.

Marc Anthony's new GF Chloe Green is the daughter of UK billionaire Sir Philip Green -- which is awesome for Chloe and Marc, but not so awesome to one fashion-obsessed shopper.

Not to worry ... one good sale, and she'll get over it.

The lead singer of Los Lonely Boys -- the band responsible for the hit 2003 song "Heaven" -- is currently holed up in an L.A. hospital ... after taking a nasty fall off stage following a concert last night.

According to the band's rep, the Boys had just finished their set when singer Henry Garza tried to greet some fans, but misjudged his step and toppled off the stage ... falling right into the orchestra pit.

We're told Henry's bandmate and brother, Joey Garza, immediately jumped down to his aid ... and Henry was transported to a local hospital.

The band was forced to cancel three performances in Hawaii this weekend as a result of the fall.

According to the rep, Henry's expected to recover just fine -- it appears there was no long-term damage done. It's currently unclear when the band will go back on the road.
