Zac Efron and Lamar Odom haven't let their cocaine problems drag them down completely -- in fact, they're both trying to stay positive ... flashing thumbs up signs in L.A.

Jenny McCarthy is NOT on the chopping block at "The View," despite reports saying she's a dead woman walking ... at least according to the show's executive producer.

Bill Geddie was out in New York yesterday when he was asked if there was any truth to rumblings Jenny's getting ready to pack her bags, just one month after she took over for Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

But Geddie was pretty strong -- Jenny's seat ain't up for grabs.

The famous sober coach who was tagging along with Joe Jonas last week fueling rumors that possible substance abuse may have caused the band to teeter on the edge of breaking up resurfaced last night with the boys.

TMZ broke the story ... Mike Bayer -- the CEO and founder of Cast Recovery Services -- left Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood with Kevin Jonas, after Bayer met with the entire band.

As we reported, Bayer is known for dealing with "crisis situations," and it appears the band is in crisis after cryptically cancelling 19 concerts a week ago.

We got Kevin at LAX earlier in the day and he was mum on everything.

We KNOW someone's gonna die on "The Simpsons" next season ... and we KNOW Jennifer Tilly is tight with co-creator Sam Simon ... so when we saw her in NY yesterday, it was the perfect opportunity to pry for some inside info.

Tilly wasn't exactly ready to sell out her poker buddy, but she did tell us that the person rumored to be getting the chop is everyone's favorite Kwik-E-mart employee Apu Nahasapeemapetilon.

Apu is definitely a candidate ... according to Executive Producer Al Jean who teased, "the actor playing the character won an Emmy for playing that character."

Joe Jonas has a new guy in his entourage -- a well-known addiction specialist who once worked with Demi Lovato, TMZ has learned.

We noticed the guy hanging with Joe as they walked out of a recording studio together in West Hollywood Thursday afternoon.

His name is Mike Bayer -- the CEO and founder of Cast Recovery Services.

According to his profile on the company website, Bayer is described as being "well known for quickly responding to crisis situations" ... typically of the substance abuse/mental health variety.

It's unclear why he's with Joe -- but when photogs tried to talk to the rock star on his way into the building, he made it clear he was not down for a conversation.

As TMZ previously reported, sources connected with the band are saying a possible breakup was tied to a conflict over musical direction, but who knows ...

Joe Scarborough -- host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" -- quietly divorced his wife of 12 years back in January ... TMZ has learned.

The 50-year-old former Florida congressman filed the divorce docs in Connecticut back in September 2012 ... seeking to end his marriage to Susan Waren, a former aide to FL Gov. Jeb Bush. The two were married in 2001.

The former couple have 2 minor children together -- a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old.

There have been rumors for years that Scarborough has a thing for his "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski (who is married btw). And the sexual tension between the two is so apparent, they addressed it during a media event in 2009 ... denying having any sort of romantic feelings for each other.

It's not Scarborough's first brush with divorce -- the conservative pundit ended his 1st marriage to Melanie Hinton back in 1999 after 13 years together. Joe and Melanie had 2 children together, who are now adults.

Deion Sanders tells TMZ ... he did not CHOKE SLAM an employee at the school he co-founded ... but acknowledges there was a physical confrontation.

Cops in Dallas are investigating violent allegations made by Kevin Jefferson, the CFO of Prime Prep Academy ... a charter school Deion co-founded last year.

According to Jefferson, Sanders flew off the handle after learning that some of the school's student athletes were not doing well in their classes.

Jefferson says Sanders got "upset and a little emotional" and then "grabbed me by my throat and kind of threw me to the ground."

But Sanders says it's all BS -- telling TMZ, "We locked up with one another ... but he was not physically assaulted."

He adds, "He's looking for a pay day. I did nothing to that gentleman that warranted an assault."

Sanders later tweeted, "The Person claiming assault is a fake administrator whom does absolutely nothing to help the school,kids or teachers reach our goals. Truth."

He added, "I won’t sit&witness my PrimePrep kids receive 2nds when they deserve the BEST EDUCATION!"

The LAPD is busy writing up a detailed report that will determine whether Cee Lo Green is prosecuted for date rape ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... a woman accused the singer of spiking her drink with ecstasy at a Downtown L.A. sushi joint last year. She claimed the next thing she remembered was waking up in a bed naked with Cee Lo in the room.

She also claimed to have a recording of Cee Lo repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA ... although sources close to the singer called BS.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, LAPD detectives submitted the case to the L.A. County D.A. but prosecutors were not satisfied with the evidence and kicked the case back to the cops for further investigation. The re-investigation has taken months ... we're told more than 5.

As for what additional info the D.A. wanted ... we're hearing two things. First they wanted additional toxicology information on what, if any, drugs were found in the woman's system.

Our law enforcement sources say the process of screening for various drugs often takes months because different labs perform different tests. And the process is also very expensive.

We're also told cops may have been looking for additional witnesses to break the he-said/she-said stalemate. Sources close to Cee Lo remain adamant ... the woman's allegations are NOT true.

Our sources say when the report is written, the LAPD will personally present it to the D.A.'s office -- that should either happen late this week or the following.

One well-placed law enforcement source tells TMZ it's doubtful the D.A. have the goods to prosecute Cee Lo.

The photo has been all over social media today ... showing Bieber sitting next to a girl that looks a helluva lot like Ariana Grande -- and he appears to be holding a long joint.

As you may recall, Bieber was photographed similarly back in January ... when he was seen holding what looked like a joint at a Newport Beach party.

Sources close to both singers say the girl in the photo is NOT Ariana Grande -- and the pic was photoshopped to look like Bieber was lighting up.

However our crack art department begs to differ -- saying the light source seems consistent ... and any indicators of a doctored photo are non-existent.

Keep in mind ... our art department also made this.

Crack undertones on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" last night ... when Khloe took a bizarre phone call from a confused Lamar Odom ... and couldn't deny that something was clearly wrong.

During the scene, Lamar demands to know Khloe's location -- because he was told she was at another location doing something wrong.

But Khloe shoots back -- saying, "You keep calling me at my mom's [house] so you know where I am."

Khloe, clearly annoyed with Lamar, says he's not being "logical" -- and then starts making excuses for him ... saying he seems "tired."

At one point, Khloe tells Lamar ... "Listen, you're buggin' just a little bit."

It's unclear when the scene was shot -- but as we previously reported, Lamar's been struggling with crack for a while ... going out of his mind on multiple binges.

In what could be a significant cost-cutting move, Lamar Odom has added to his obsessions -- but unlike his serious drug problem ... his newly acquired porn pal is free.

Lamar has set his sights on Tube8 -- according to his Twitter page -- a site that touts, "Everything always tastes better when it's free, including porn."

It's unclear when Lamar and Tube8 linked up, but Lamar is very fussy about what he follows. And only follows 50 celebs ... including Justin Bieber, Floyd Mayweather and the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

So for the time being, and clearly not of his own choice, Lamar has replaced Khloe with about a thousand other cool chicks.

Warren Sapp’s claim that he funded a $5,000 bounty program during his playing days is starting to sound like BS … ‘cause one of his most high-profile teammates says he NEVER saw it happen.

Sapp went on Dan Patrick's show this week and said he “used to have $5,000 waiting for anybody who hit somebody and got a fine” during his time with the Buccaneers. He also claimed to have paid out the bounty “at least six times.”

But TMZ spoke with Keyshawn Johnson, who shared a locker room with Sapp for four years in Tampa Bay, and Key tells us he never saw 99 engage in any sort of Bounty activity.

“I didn't witness it, nor have I ever heard of it.” Keyshawn says.

Lindsay Lohan was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong dude last night in NYC -- at least based on her history with her hotel owner pal.

In a photo that spells nothing but trouble for Lindsay ... she was snapped outside The Dream Hotel at 1 AM with Vikram Chatwal ... who owns the hotel, but more importantly has an even darker past with drugs than Lindsay.

As TMZ reported, Linds thinks she and Chatwal -- himself a rehab grad -- can help each other stay clean … which is kinda like a diabetic having Paula Deen for a best friend.

Not to mention ... LiLo was arrested last year at The Dream for a hit and run, after grazing a pedestrian outside the hotel, and then fleeing the scene.

So, let's review -- out late night, hanging with a recovering addict, at a spot where she's already been arrested once.

Two interesting things about this video with Simon Cowell and the woman carrying his fetus, Lauren Silverman. And it's all about who is responsible for what in their relationship.

Lauren's responsibilities -- according to the couple, Lauren is tasked with making the decision about filming the birth of their child.

*Note -- Our camera guy has volunteered for the job ... and Lauren didn't exactly turn him down.

Simon's responsibilities -- Lauren says the decision to get married is entirely up to him.

Duh.

Nothing says romance like a smelly locker room -- Khloe Kardashian is spending her 4th wedding anniversary sweating at the gym.

Khloe was just spotted cruising into an Equinox gym near her home, and wearing lightweight gloves -- maybe blowing off steam with some kickboxing or MMA fighting.

Photogs peppered Khloe with questions, including ... whether the rumors are true she's selling her house, is she getting divorced, and if she's giving Lamar Odom a second chance.

Considering they're not together on their anniversary ... it's safe to say chances are looking dim.
