Sources close to the "Jersey Shore" star tell TMZ ... producers approached him about being on fourth edition of "Celebrity Apprentice" -- but Pauly D decided he'd rather focus on his spin-off show with MTV ... which, sources say, has already begun filming.

We're told Snooki will be at the Seaside Heights police station this morning to pay off her debt to society. Seaside PD tells us Snooki will be filing paperwork, cleaning, helping with clerical work, and vacuuming around the station and court house (which is next door).

Snooki was busted back on July 30 and pled guilty to disturbing the quiet enjoyment of the beach. She was sentenced to two days community service and a $533 fine.

Cookie, Jwoww's opponent, tells TMZ, “I really think that girl needs to look into some counseling. Her anger issues are obviously out of control."

She adds, "Then again if my face looked like that, I'd be pretty pissed at the world too.”

AcaiSupply.com -- a diet company -- claims it's outraged the show mocked Snooki's issues with obesity ... so they've offered Snooks a cut of the profits and a free year's supply in exchange for a "glowing testimonial."

Here's the rub -- the company's letter to Snooki essentially calls her overweight ... and as you may know, she's had serious weight issues ... claiming she "almost died" from anorexia a few years back.

In case you missed it -- watch it, it's hilarious -- the episode culminates with the Gollum-esque "Snooki" character getting socked in the face after trying to rape Cartman.

After the show, the real Snooks went to her Twitter page and wrote, "snooki want smoosh smoosh. im going to have nightmares tonight lmao!!! we've officially made it. goodnite my bitches."

It all went down at the taping of Spike TV's "TNA iMPACT" in
Orlando ... set to air Thursday.

As we previously reported, Jwoww raked in a cool $15k to beat some Snook-alike ass ... and the TNA people are hoping to lock her into a longer deal.

According to Snooki's lawyer, Ray Raya, the "Jersey Shore" star will hit the Seaside Heights Community Center this weekend to sign autographs at a fund-raising event for an animal charity ... and the event will count toward her required two days of service.

We're told Snooks -- who was arrested after a drunken bender in Seaside Heights back in July -- will also be making a "personal donation of an undisclosed amount."

Sources close to the deal tell us Jwoww -- real name Jenni Farley -- just signed a one-night deal to appear on Spike TV's "TNA iMPACT!" on Thursday.

We're told Jwoww doesn't have a match scheduled ... but she'll "probably be mixing it up" with a couple of "Jersey Shore"-alike wrestlers named Robbie E. and Cookie.

But Jwoww ain't doin' the wrestling thing for free -- we're told she's pulling in a cool $15 grand for the night ... and the two sides are working out a deal to get her to come back to the show.

The Sitch's manager (pictured above) tells us the car was only a rental -- and it was the manager's rental, not The Situation's. The manager tells us he was backing up the car and didn't notice the truck behind him had its lift down -- so when he hit the lift and tried to pull forward, it ripped the bumper almost clean off.

Sources tell us the "Jersey Shore" star has partnered with Australian Gold to launch a lotion called "Jwoww's Black Bronzer" -- complete with a bottle she helped design herself.

We're told Jwoww will make $2.50 off of every bottle sold ... and she's been guaranteed a minimum of 25,000 bottles sold -- for a cool $62,500. The product is set to hit stores by the end of the month.

It all went down in Hollywood ... right after Sitch left Playhouse nightclub with a few members of his crew. The "Jersey Shore" star rolled into a waiting SUV and took off ... but moments later, the car was stopped on the side of the road ... next to an LAPD squad car with flashing lights.

It's unclear why the police got involved -- but both The Situation and his friends got out of their SUV and had a friendly exchange with the officers ... who never got out of their squad car.

One of The Situation's non-grenades -- Samantha the moaner from last week's "Jersey Shore" -- came to L.A. to see her man on "Dancing With the Stars" and to deliver a message to the haters.

Samantha told us girls who claim Sitch is "small" are big fat liars, because he is... well, big and fat.
