Tupac Movie Derailed by Blind Ambitionz

Published | Updated

Tupac's biopic is in mortal danger ... because of a feud between a rapper and a publishing giant.

Rapper Daz Dillinger claims he holds the rights to the track "Ambitionz Az a Ridah" ... prominently featured in the "All Eyez on Me" movie. But Daz claims BMG publishing house begs to differ, insisting only it can green light the song for the flick. Thus, there's now a standoff.

The movie release has been pushed from September to November ... we're told so Daz and BMG can resolve the conflict.

This is the latest in a series of nasty legal battles between Daz and BMG. The rapper sued BMG back in April, claiming the company owes him more than $75k in royalties.

For it's part ... BMG says Daz's beef is really with eOne, the music licensing company that controls rights on the song. BMG says it merely collects royalties on eOne's behalf.

Tara Reid vs. Jenny McCarthy Epic Trash Talk Over Boobs & Bad Surgery

Published | Updated

Jenny McCarthy and Tara Reid went off on each other -- live on the air -- when a 'Sharknado' promotion turned into a battle royale over fake boobs and gnarly plastic surgeries.

The showdown happened on Jenny's SiriusXM show Friday, and when she asked Tara if she had to get in shape for her role in 'Sharknado 4' ... things got nasty quickly. You gotta hear it.

Tara tells TMZ she "totally felt so bullied and attacked. It was very unprofessional." She says there's no history of bad blood with Jenny, but feels like "she just wanted to hurt my feelings and say things that would bother me."

Well, that definitely happened. The final dig as Tara walks out is awesome.

And this was no on-air stunt ... Tara says, "She definitely didn't apologize" after the attempted interview.

Scott Eastwood So Fast, So Furious on Miami Beach

Published | Updated

Scott Eastwood can't stay out of hot water.

Eastwood's down in Miami shooting 'Fast 8' and made the most of a break from filming by taking a dip in the ocean during a break.

He came out dripping head to toe, but kept his shades bone dry. That's good living when your sunglasses are too expensive to be touched by water.

Kanye West, Damon Dash Off the Hook In 'Loisaidas' Movie Lawsuit

'LOISAIDAS' OFFICIAL TRAILER

Kanye West and Damon Dash didn't tarnish a Latin singing group's name by promoting murder, violence and drug sales in a movie collaboration ... at least that's what a judge ruled.

TMZ broke the story ... West and Dash were sued last year by a member of Loisaidas, a group that's been around since 2008. Member Michael Medina said the rap duo tarnished Loisaidas' brand after they released a movie in 2015 with the exact same name.

However, a judge disagreed ... and on Thursday dismissed the suit. The reasoning? ... "Loisaidas," which refers to Manhattan's Lower East Side, is fair game considering that's where the film took place and had nothing to do with the singing group.

We think we know what won't be in Medina's Netflix queue.

Robert Downey Jr. Cool Juror in Car Crash Case

Published | Updated

Robert Downey Jr. has a full week of work ... but he's not going to make his customary $20 - $40 million for the project. He'll make $15 a day ... as a juror.

We've learned Downey is an alternate juror in a car accident case which is being tried in L.A. Downey has been there since Monday, and the jury won't even start deliberating until Friday.

As for how he got selected, one source connected with the case tells us, "Everyone just thought he was a fair guy." He didn't make a big deal he's a movie star. To the contrary, he identified himself only as Robert Downey and said he was in the film industry.

We're told Downey's been super friendly and attentive during the trial. It's not exactly a riveting case. Two biomechanical engineers are testifying, along with both drivers, and 4 eyewitnesses. The injuries were not horrific ... we're told best case scenario the case is worth $50k.

The lawyers asked only a few questions before settling on the actor. He assured them neither he nor anyone in his family was in a car crash that resulted in injury.

One source connected with the case said, "He actually seems happy to be here."

Hey ... it beats "Due Date."

Clarke Wolfe, an actress/film critic, didn't like the movie. But that didn't sit well with some hardcore fans, who threatened the hell out of her on social media. Examples:

-- "You f****** fake bitch ass whore, no wonder you got fired from AMC. How can you not like Man of Steel?! ... That movie is a f****** masterpiece! If I ever see you in Burbank, I will f****** kill you bitch!"

-- "They should run a train on you, c***busters. That n***** should have raped and beat you to death."

-- "Hi, I'm Lord Jesus and I have some bad news, you're going to hell."

The LAPD got a search warrant, obtained by TMZ, to get Instagram records that will help track down the person or persons who made the threats.

Ghostbusters We're the Ones You Call for a Lyft!

WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

"Ghostbusters" fans can roll up to the club in full Peter Venkman swag ... for a couple days anyway.

Ecto-1 replicas will be on call to Lyft riders July 1st and 2nd, but you gotta request GhostMode.

It's similar to what Lyft did with DeLoreans for 'Back to the Future' day, but better since the Ghostbusters deal will be in multiple cities -- L.A., NYC, San Fran, Boston and Washington D.C.

We got one of the Ectos rolling through Bev Hills Wednesday night, and even Jeff Beacher was impressed, along with Paris Hilton -- who is busy launching her new fragrance 'Gold Rush.' They both took time out to admire the ride.

Lyft's expecting this is to be very popular, so it's also wrapping Toyota Highlanders to look like the car. Small consolation, but it'll lower your wait time.
