Lisa Bonet will always have Lenny Kravitz's heart, and although they've been apart for 3 decades ... he says his ex-wife still has a heavy influence on him.

The 59-year-old singer says Lisa is a massive part of his life -- telling People they never lost their connection because he is who he is today "'cause of our experience, because of everything that I was, everything that she was, and everything that came together."

Lenny got all philosophical about love and stuff ... as he believes romance can end, but love for one another never truly leaves, it just finds a new way to funnel into your life -- something he says he and LB both made a conscious effort to do.

He added she'll "never leave his heart, soul or my spirit." Heavy.

Lenny's early years with Lisa -- after meeting in 1985, backstage at a New Edition concert -- inspired his iconic bohemian look.

He explains when they were moving in together, he brought his instruments and other things with him but somehow forgot his comb -- basically, he never planned on having dreadlocks, but Lisa was digging his matted hair after a few months.

The duo married in 1987, when Lisa was starring on "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World" ... but he didn't mind being labeled Mr. Bonet by the press 'cause he was paying attention to his music, not the fact he was married to the most "beautiful woman on the planet."

Daughter Zoë came along in 1988, a time he recalls as beautiful and all about peace, love and spirit.

Despite his marriage with Lisa ending in 1993, the era obviously left a lasting impact on him ... inspiring his upcoming album "Blue Electric Light" -- which is all about "positive energy, God, spirit, light."

We chatted with the social media star Wednesday in Bev Hills, and he told us the unfortunate development creates a massive dent in TikTok content ... 'cause the platform's best known for turning average folks into overnight stars with viral clips of them dancing to music from Taylor Swift, Drake and more.

As one of the most popular apps in the world, Ricky also acknowledges TikTok's a place many users go to discover their fave artist's new music -- so losing that is disappointing for fans and musicians alike.

The most positive spin on this upheaval is newer artists won't have to compete with established superstars to get their music out there -- but Rickey isn't entirely convinced that'll be the case.

On a positive note, he tells us the decision won't completely ruin the app ... it'll just limit what videos people can create without using music. So, for those who enjoy a little boogie on TikTok, he advises them to just do it on their own time.

For a quick rundown: Universal Music Group is yanking its artists' music off the platform after a tense standoff ... saying TT needed to pay more cash to license the tunes.

For its part, TikTok's accusing UMG of spinning a "false narrative" and says it has healthy 'artist-first' agreements with every other label and publisher.

Preparations for Clive Davis' famed pre-Grammy party came to a grinding halt Thursday morning as cops busted an armed man at the Waldorf Astoria ... TMZ has learned.

The Waldorf is right next door to the Beverly Hilton -- where Clive's event is held -- and cops swarmed the area after getting a call shortly after 9:30 AM for a disturbance at the hotel. We're told a drone was deployed over the Waldorf, and spotted the gunman standing on a hotel room balcony.

Cops immediately shut down one of all traffic around the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevard -- one of L.A.'s busiest intersections -- and deployed SWAT officers around the hotels.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops made contact with the guy in his hotel room and convinced him to surrender peacefully -- but once inside, they discovered he had already shot up the room.

The man was actually firing the gun while police were outside the room ... according to witnesses at the hotel.

Once he was in custody, we're told the gunman was booked for felony possession of a firearm and negligent discharge of the firearm.

Our sources say the weapons was a handgun with an extended magazine.

Luckily, no one was injured at the hotel.

The area will be heavily trafficked by media and celebs leading up to Clive's party Saturday night -- attendees have to pick up credentials ahead of the event.

Bruce Springsteen's mother Adele has died ... this according to Springsteen himself.

The 74-year-old singer-songwriter announced the news Thursday in a heartfelt Instagram post ... saying his mother passed away Wednesday and sharing some lyrics from his song "The Wish."

The lyrics talk about Mother's Day and the memory of listening to his mother get ready for work in the morning ... perfectly complimenting a short video of the pair dancing to big band music on the porch of a large estate.

The pair twist and dance around before Mama Springsteen plants a sweet kiss on her son's cheek in the clip, bopping to Glenn Miller's "In The Mood."

Dancing was the main reason so many Springsteen fans knew Adele ... fans spotted her dancing at her son's shows constantly -- a fun pastime she engaged in since the early '90s according to reports.

While Bruce didn't reveal his mother's cause of death, The Boss did talk a lot about Adele's battle with Alzheimer's during 2018's "Springsteen on Broadway" ... saying she was diagnosed around 2011 but dancing still meant a ton to her, calling it "more powerful than memory."

Adele was 98.

Pluss tells us the Swifty train has been running full steam ahead and he doesn't expect it to slow down on Grammy night, even if top-notch artists like Miley and SZA are snubbed.

Neither one of these guys seems heavily invested in putting Grammys on a pedestal, anyway.

Britney emphatically adds one last dig that's pretty good, TBH ... writing, "I’m not sorry!!!"

Of course, she's referring to JT issuing his non-apology in front of a NYC crowd Wednesday -- when he performed for a one-night show. You'll recall, right before he launched into 'Cry Me a River' -- which is famously known to be about Brit -- he said ... he'd like to take the opportunity to apologize to "absolutely f***ing nobody."

A lot of Britney fans were upset with the fact that he flip-flopped ... especially, seemingly, out of nowhere. Mind you, Britney herself had just recently apologized to Justin about stuff in her memoir.

It's also interesting that Britney is bringing up this basketball stuff again. Remember, she actually crapped on his b-ball ability (or lack thereof) late last year out of the clear blue.

Basically, she says she beat him a ton when they were dating ... and that he sucks. Now, she seems to be implying that he was bent out of shape over it, and maybe even cried.

Weird flex, but okay ... Britney's out here flaunting her stuff. Love to see it!

JB was particularly thrilled to have started his day on a high note ... leaping to his feet at the end for a thunderous round of applause.

There's clearly nothing better than a musical breather to recharge the political batteries before Joe's campaign trail hits full volume for the 2024 elections.
