'Real Chance of Love' Star Starting Chemotherapy to Attack Colon Cancer
The star of VH1's "Real Chance of Love" -- who was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer -- will begin intense chemo treatments this week in order to fight off the disease ... TMZ has learned.
A rep for Ahmad Givens -- who goes by Real -- tells TMZ that the reality star met with doctors Thursday at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. The docs advised him to begin oral chemotherapy -- which is chemo taken in the form of a pill rather than an IV -- ASAP. The entire process is likely to take at least two years.
The rep tells us Real is raising money to cover the staggering medical bills -- claiming his insurance will only foot about 40% of the costs.
We're told Real's devastated by the news, but staying strong for his family. And wants to do everything in his power to get better.

'Too Young To Marry' Star Paid $5K to Become Child Bride on TV
Attention teens who don't want to sling burgers for minimum wage. You can score a cool $5k, and all you have to do is get married and possibly ruin your life ... on television.
That's what 17-year-old Jurnee Mroczek is raking in for tying the knot on Oxygen's new reality show, "Too Young To Marry."
We obtained a copy of the contract Jurnee (common spelling) signed ... which also obligates her to do voice-over work. The contract also provides for exclusivity, presumably meaning she can't get married a second time on another reality show.
In case you're a romantic ... Jurnee and her hubby, 21-year-old Don Atkinson met at a V-Ball game in 2009.

Chuy My Left Foot Injury 'Happened for a Reason'
Chuy Bravo from "Chelsea Lately" dropped a little philosophy on us about the fractured foot that's keeping him off the celebrity diving show, "Splash" -- or at least, he tried to. Hey, philosophy is hard.
We broke the story ... Chuy busted his left foot while jumping on a table.
Chuy's leg was in a cast when we asked about the accident he said ... "Things happen for a reason. What the other reason is ... I don't know yet."
Chuy seems genuinely pissed he won't be able to compete on the show, because he trained so hard to learn how to swim and dive.
By the way, you gotta hear the story he tells us about nearly drowning as a kid ... it's really funny. Well, as funny as a near drowning can be.

Chuy Bows Out of 'Splash' After Small Leg Fracture
UPDATE: We're told Chuy's replacement is soccer star Brandi Chastain -- the chick who ripped off her jersey and flashed her sports bra when the U.S. won the 1999 World Cup ... which was cool.
When you're Chuy from "Chelsea Lately" ... every foot counts, and we've learned after breaking one, he was forced to drop out of the ABC diving show, "Splash."
Sources connected with the show tell TMZ ... the diminutive sidekick did not know how to dive or even swim when he signed on. Greg Louganis -- a celebrity diving coach on the show -- taught him the ropes, and we're told he was actually good enough to compete.
But fate was not good to Chuy. On Monday, during the very first taping, Chuy jumped up on a table in the lounge area near the pool ... and the table broke. Chuy fell through the table to the ground and fractured his heel bone.
Chuy was treated by EMTs, and a series of X-rays revealed the fracture was such that he could not put any weight on his foot, so he couldn't dive off the board.
That was pretty much a buzzkill, so Chuy bid adieu-ee to "Splash."
Ne-Yo Sued for Defamation Over 'Harlot' Allegations
A woman who once claimed Ne-Yo was her baby daddy is suing the rapper, claiming he defamed her by trashing her on a TV show.
Jesseca White claims in her lawsuit ... Ne-Yo went on VH1 and painted her as "an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child ... so that she could fraudulently bilk him of 'ungodly amounts of money.'"
Jesseca and Ne-Yo used to bang. Jesseca had a kid in 2005 and she listed Ne-Yo as the daddy on the birth certificate. A paternity test proved otherwise.
Jesseca alleges she told Ne-Yo at the time she gave birth she wasn't sure he was the father, but Ne-Yo went on VH1 and claimed she tried to aggressively defraud him. As a result of the show -- which was a "Behind the Music" about Ne-Yo -- Jesseca says people have called her all sorts of names, including "c**t," "bitch," "pathetic" and "gold-digging bitch."
She also claims her career as a photog and a graphic designer has been torpedoed.
Jesseca is suing for unspecified damages.

TLC's 'Starter Wives' Network Pulled Plug ... 'Cause Ratings SUCKED
TLC's failed reality show "Starter Wives Confidential" -- featuring the exes of 50 Cent, Lamar Odom, DMX, and Funkmaster Flex -- was pulled off the air ONLY because the RATINGS SUCKED ... despite speculations otherwise.
You'll recall, the reality show was cancelled a few days after its Jan. 29 debut. Many believed it was due to a slew of problems plaguing the show -- including 50 Cent's outspoken dislike of his ex's participation.
Even one of the stars, Monica Joseph-Taylor (Flex's ex) was confused by the sudden purge, writing on her blog, "Is it ratings? Is it a change in network direction…or all the outside drama?!"
TMZ obtained a letter -- written from the network to the cast members -- which sets the record straight.
The letter states, "Unfortunately, due to the low ratings, the remaining episodes will not air on TLC, but will be viewable on TLC.com."
It continues, "The decision by TLC isn't personal, although I know it is to you all, and for that we are very sorry. You ladies gave your all to the show and everyone at TLC is very disappointed that the viewers didn't take this ride with us."

The Police Chief in Summersville, West Virginia tells us officers arrested Salwa Amin and 2 other men after an extensive day of surveillance.

The chief says they observed a lot of foot traffic coming in and out of the house -- and says the people were only staying for very brief periods of time ... so they immediately obtained a search warrant, and then launched the raid.
Salwa, Shawn L. Booker and Jason D. Jones -- who owns the home -- were found hiding in a shed in the backyard, according to the chief.
We're told Salwa had a "quantity of Oxycodone" in her purse -- and Booker had a "large amount of money" on him.
