Rod Stewart's reaction to Dolores O'Riordan's death might not be the most sensitive, but it's definitely real ... and kinda dark.

Rod was leaving Il Piccolino Monday night in WeHo when we asked the British rocker if he knew The Cranberries singer who died suddenly in London. Rod said he didn't know Dolores personally, but he made it clear her passing, at only 46, has him pondering his own mortality.

Someone's selling a crusty paper cup that might've once touched Elvis Presley's lips and there are people already willing to drop over $150 for it.

The cup's supposedly from The King's first concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1956. Elvis was only 21 at the time and played his first show there in April of that year. The cup was supposedly taken from him at his hotel by a woman named June who then kept it in a box with his autographed picture for decades.

If you're wondering whether it's authentic or not ... the nearly 62-year-old cup comes with a letter of authenticity and notebook full of supporting "research" ... which includes a few pictures of Elvis WITH the cup.

It's being sold on eBay and, as of late Monday, the high bid was $157. The seller is optimistic they'll get $1,000 for it though.

Dolores O'Riordan's sudden unexplained death has made tidal waves in the music world -- just take a look at her sales online ... which are up over 900,000%.

Dolores' music both on her own and with her band, The Cranberries, dominated Amazon's music sales Monday after news broke of her death -- with one of The Cranberries' albums, "Something Else" surging at 913,350% in sales.

Her tunes also occupy the other top 4 slots for trending albums, which are up 147,552% ("Are You Listening?"), 107,520% ('Everybody Else is Doing It'), 93,781% ("To the Faithful Departed") and 77,096% ("Wake Up and Smell the Coffee"), respectively.

BTW ... her music sales on iTunes are also skyrocketing -- with Cranberries' albums dominating the number 3rd, 6th, 7th and 9th spots on their Top 10 Albums chart.

As we reported ... Dolores died Monday unexpectedly. Her bandmates sent out a message saying ... "We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today."

Sources connected with the singer tell TMZ she had been "dreadfully depressed" in recent weeks.

She was 46.

Sen. Kamala Harris made the most of her Grand Marshal title at Kindom Day Parade in L.A. by getting up close and personal with the bands ... and the Senator was getting it.

The junior senator from Cali did a little -- emphasis on little -- dancing when a drum corps started doing their thing Monday during the parade. Natalie Portman was hanging with Sen. Harris much of the day, and recorded her moves.

Kamala and Natalie also joined in for a "TIME'S UP" chant during the 33rd annual parade.

3:10 PM PT -- Friends of Dolores tell TMZ ... she had been "dreadfully depressed" in recent weeks, and was also suffering with a lot of back pain.

11:08 AM PT -- Dolores tried taking her life by OD'ing back in 2013, saying she had suffered from depression and ultimately a mental breakdown. She was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Dolores said she believed some of her emotional problems emanated from being abused as a child.

The Cranberries lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan, died Monday in London.

Dolores was reportedly in London for a recording session. A rep for the band would only say she died "suddenly." The rep offered no further details.

The Irish band struck it big in the '90s ... when Dolores took over for their previous lead singer. Their songs "Zombie" and "Linger" were huge international hits.

Dolores released 2 solo albums while the Cranberries were on hiatus. They got back together in 2009, and had planned a tour last year, but ended up canceling when Dolores had back pain.

She split from her husband of 20 years in 2014, and survived by 3 children. Dolores was 46.

Jill Zarin just arrived at a New York City chapel for her husband's funeral.

Jill and her daughter, Allyson Shapiro, arrived at the Riverside Memorial Chapel for a service honoring the life of her husband, Bobby Zarin.

Zarin died Saturday after a long bout with cancer. Bobby was diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in 2009, underwent treatment and had his thyroid removed. He suffered a major setback in 2016 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Bobby Zarin, the husband of Jill Zarin, has died after a long battle with cancer.

The "Real Housewives of New York" star posted a statement, saying the family was devastated. Bobby died Saturday surrounded by his family.

Bobby battled cancer for years. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009 and underwent radiation treatment -- eventually having his thyroid removed.

In 2016, Bobby was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The pic (below) is the last one taken of the 2 of them out at Andy Cohen's show last June when she was a guest.

There will be a service Monday.

Keith Jackson -- the longtime and legendary voice of college football -- has died.

Jackson spent 50 years working for ABC covering a wide variety of sports, but was best known for calling college football's biggest games for generations. Jackson's credited for dubbing the Rose Bowl "The Granddaddy of Them All" and Michigan's football stadium, "The Big House".

Todd Harris of NBC Sports broke the news Jackson passed away Friday night surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Turi Ann, and 3 children.

He was 89.

Motorhead guitarist Eddie Clarke is dead.

Clarke, who went by "Fast Eddie," died peacefully after fighting pneumonia. He was the last of the OGs from the band. Motorhead frontman Lemmy (aka Ian Kilmister) and bandmate Phil Taylor died 2 years ago.

The current drummer, Mikkey Dee was clearly shocked, posting, "I saw Eddie not too long ago and he was in great shape."

The band formed in '75 and they produced some monster songs, including "Motorhead" and "Ace of Spades." They also produced some super successful albums, including the band's first self-titled album as well as "Overkill and Bomber."

As for Clarke, he left the group 1982 and formed the band Fastway.

Clarke was 67. RIP

"Big Brother" star Amber Siyavus' daughter has died from an apparent suicide ... TMZ has learned.

Lexi Tomcavage died Monday night in Ohio, and her death is being investigated as a suicide ... according to the Stark County Medical Examiner. On Sunday, Lexi tweeted 3 times about missing her friend who recently died ... saying "i miss you" and "never been like this before."

Siyavus was a houseguest on Season 8 of 'BB' and was known for her frequent crying. Fans gave her the nickname "Whamber." She finished in 7th place.

Amber's daughter, Lexi, was 18.

"Heavyweights" actor Joseph Wayne Miller, who played Salami Sam in the '90s hit has died ... TMZ has learned.

Miller's mother, Patricia, tells us her son died in his sleep Tuesday in Chicago. We're told his girlfriend found his body. So far the cause of death is unknown ... but Patricia says he suffered from sleep apnea.

Joe's character, Salami Sam, was one of the campers at Camp Hope ... a weight loss camp for kids.

Miller's only notable acting credit was "Heavyweights," a classic that also starred Ben Stiller, Judd Apatow and Kenan Thompson.

Miller was 36.

"Home Alone" dad John Heard had a pharmacy of drugs in his system when he died ... TMZ has learned.

The actor died in July at age 71, and now the toxicology results are in. Among the drugs in his system -- Tramadol, Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Xanax, Buprenorphine, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone.

It's important to note Heard had back surgery 2 days before his death, and some of these drugs are commonly used to alleviate pain.

The report, obtained by TMZ, also seems to indicate there was an attempt to revive Heard with Narcan, a drug used to counteract the effects of a narcotics OD.

The Medical Examiner has already said Heard died from a heart attack triggered by heart disease. There is no information in the reports as to whether drugs contributed to the cause of death.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s son is giving Newsweek a pass for publishing the insensitive photo of his father in his casket next to an op-ed piece earlier this week.

We got Dexter King at LAX Thursday and he didn't seem as upset as the Twittersphere and his sister Bernice King, who sounded off on Newsweek.

Even Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul voiced his disdain for the bad choice of photo when we got him at the airport.

1/08/18 2:53 PM PT -- A rep for the Hot Spring County Coroner tells us Jerry died of chronic heart disease. We're told he was in hospice care at his home prior to his death ... Van Dyke will be buried in Arkansas.

Jerry Van Dyke -- the famed younger brother of Dick Van Dyke -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Jerry's wife, Shirley, tells us ... he died Friday afternoon at their Arkansas ranch with her by his side. She says they were involved in a car accident over 2 years ago ... and Jerry's health had deteriorated since.

We're told Dick visited them at the ranch over the Christmas holiday.

A beloved comedian just like his brother, Jerry pursued stand-up as a young man and performed at military bases around the world. He made his acting debut on "The Dick Van Dyke" show and followed that up with appearances on "The Ed Sullivan Show" before becoming a regular on "The Judy Garland Show."

Jerry's best known for his role on "Coach" ... where he earned 4 Emmy nominations playing Asst. Coach Luther Van Dam alongside Craig T. Nelson. He also had major roles on "Yes, Dear" and most recently, "The Middle."

He's survived by his wife and 2 children. Jerry was 86.

Ex-NFL star Terry Glenn had marijuana in his system during his fatal car crash -- and his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit ... this according to the autopsy report obtained by TMZ Sports.

Glenn's fiancee told police they were returning home from a Dallas Cowboys game on Nov. 20 when Glenn smashed his truck into a concrete divider, ejecting the WR from the vehicle. He suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.

At the time, Glenn's fiancee told police she wasn't sure if Glenn had consumed alcohol before getting behind the wheel ... but now, toxicology tests reveal he was impaired with a .165 BAC.

Tests also reveal Glenn had significant traces of marijuana in his system -- which could explain why cops found a marijuana grinder and bottle in the crash wreckage.

According to the report, Glenn's cause of death is listed as an "accident" due to blunt force trauma.

Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling legend Mt. Fiji -- real name Emily Dole -- has passed away after battling serious health problems for years. She was 60.

Fiji was one of the biggest stars in G.L.O.W. during its run from 1986 to 1992 ... never losing a single match. Fiji was so popular, she was invited on 'Regis and Kathie Lee,' 'Donahue' and "Card Sharks."

She also inspired the character Machu Picchu on the popular Netflix scripted series, "G.L.O.W."

Fiji's friend, Patricia Summerland (aka Sunny The California Girl), broke the news on social media Wednesday ... saying, "Rip Emily Dole! WE LOST OUR GLOW SISTER THIS MORNING. We are very sad that she passed away."

"She was the CHAMP IN THE RING. Fly high Mountain Fiji."
