John McCain is a DANCING MACHINE -- no seriously, he's like a fully functioning cyberdyne robot ... and this weekend he busted out his mechanical dance moves in front of Jamie Foxx at a party in the Hamptons.

With The Roots providing the beat, the Arizona senator went into full "Zoolander" pop-and-lock battle mode on stage during a benefit at Ron Perelman’s East Hampton estate.

Jamie Foxx tried to mimic McCain's moves -- but the guy just couldn't keep up.

Apparently, McCain followed NJ Gov. Chris Christie ... who also showed off some moves -- but everyone seems to agree, McCain blew the guy out of the water.

Steven Robles showed up in Hermosa Beach, CA over the weekend at a Shark Week event ... a stone's throw from Manhattan Beach where he was attacked by a great white that struggled to free itself from a fishing line.

Robles showed off his scars and told our photog he's gotten bites from production companies ... even a documentary producer who wanted to do a flick about the incident.

Madonna's two eldest children, Lourdes and Rocco, hung out Wednesday with her boyfriend, Timor Steffens, in the South of France.

A quick check of the math ... Lourdes is 17, Rocco is 13 and Timor is 26 ... which adds up to 56.

Madonna turns 56 later this month. Let that sink in for a moment ...

Lindsay Lohan may be genetically predisposed to bad parenting ... so she took baby steps by borrowing the child of a local vendor and wandering around on the beach in Mykonos, Greece.

NBA legend Chris Webber got his first surf lesson Monday morning, and most importantly ... he actually survived, because he tells TMZ Sports it was "one of the toughest things" he's ever done.

Webber says he randomly met pro surfer Pascal Stansfield while on vacay in Cabo San Lucas, and joked about surfing ... not knowing Stansfield was a pro. Next thing ya know, he's in the middle of a 20-minute first timers sesh.

C-Webb says he did manage to get up on his board multiple times, but never rode a full wave. He added, "I am just so glad there wasn’t a video of me crawling out the water because that was tough."

He's being a little tough on himself -- it's not everyday you see a 6'11" guy shredding waves.

Robin Thicke went camping with his son and a mystery woman the same day he was supposed to be performing in Indiana ... and this isn't the first time it's happened.

What was termed a "scheduling conflict" was in actuality a personal day ... deja vu, because he did the same thing back in February when he cancelled 2 back-to-back concerts because of illness, but ended up at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA with his son.
