The folks at Japan's Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park have a message for "Pokemon Go" -- have some damn respect.

The memorial sits right where the first nuclear bomb was dropped on a city, and officials are pissed it's currently a "Pokestop." Park organizers want the game's developer, Niantic Inc., to remove the landmark from the game by Aug. 6 -- the anniversary of the 1945 atomic bombing.

The site's become a go-to spot since the game's release in Japan last week. Niantic -- an American software company -- does have a form to request exclusions, but it makes no guarantees.

Games apparently don't respect the dead.

DJ Khaled is showing even more love for a fan -- who's now Internet famous ... giving the guy his personal digits and setting up another meeting with him this week.

We spoke to Christopher Alvarez about his meeting with Khaled in NYC last week -- and he told us they've really hit it off since then. Christopher got tons of love on Khaled's Snapchat when the rapper hooked him up with a chain. He says they've talked since then, and have plans to hook up at one of Khaled's pop-up stores on Thursday.

Christopher suffers from thanatophoric dysplasia, a severe skeletal disorder. Doctors said he'd only live to 5, but he's 18 ... and just graduated valedictorian of his high school class. He's a die-hard Khaled fan and decided to take a shot at meeting him last week.

Khaled has said he considers Christopher a true inspiration. He wants to be a reporter and says he's already landed one-on-ones with J Lo, Selena Gomez, Enrique Iglesias, and Maroon 5.

A woman died trying to save her adult daughter from a tiger attack in a Chinese drive-thru safari park.

Surveillance video shows what went down Saturday at Badaling Wildlife Park in Beijing -- the daughter got out of the car and walked to the other side ... and that's when the tiger pounced and dragged her away. A man and another woman -- the mother -- attempted to rescue the daughter.

All 3 people were off camera when, officials say, another tiger attacked and killed the mother.

Authorities are investigating, but it seems pretty clear from the video where things went south.

The "Pokemon Go" craze is so big, it's going to turn a line of themed restaurants into huge money makers ... or so one developer thinks now that he's filed docs to launch the idea.

James Kim -- a branding and marketing guru -- is trying to lock up trademark rights for eateries he plans to call "Pokestop." If you don't know ... Pokestops, in the game, are digital locations where players refill on supplies.

Kim plans to open cafes catering to the game ... which would allow users to fill up on Pokemon supplies (for the game), catch a few creatures and also fill up on real-life food, coffee, tea and possibly beers too.

He says they would have Pokemon lures to bring in creatures to each location, and even host Pokemon-themed events. Of course, he'll need to secure a licensing deal with Pokemon -- which hasn't happened. Yet.

Trademarks ... gotta catch 'em all.

A source at Verizon tells TMZ 10% of its 100 million smartphone users were using the game Tuesday -- the biggest day of the week -- yet they consumed only 1% of the network's data. Translation ... it's a lot of game for a little data and will cost you virtually nothing.

Turns out, the people who designed the game had your pocketbook in mind, and they created an app that sends info in bursts ... rather than a long stream.

Dani Mathers is now in the crosshairs of cops, because TMZ has learned there's now a criminal investigation over the pic she took in a gym locker room.

We found out the brass over at LA Fitness went to cops Friday and filed the report, accusing the former Playboy Playmate of egregiously violating a member's right of privacy by taking a pic of her while naked in the shower, and then humiliating her by posting the pic with a disgusting caption.

We're told the police investigation is based on a criminal law prohibiting the dissemination of private images.

The woman in the pic has not come forward ... the report lists "Jane Doe" as the victim.

Dani has already been punished ... we've learned Playboy has suspended her from all Playmate activities including her show on Playboy Radio.

On the criminal front Dani could get a big break ... if the victim never comes forward the case might well be dropped.

John Hetlinger made it to the big time -- and it only took 82 years!

Hetlinger -- who went crazy viral for rocking out to Drowning Pool's "Bodies" on "America's Got Talent" -- will join the band onstage Friday in front of thousands at Chicago Open Air music festival.

Like a true rock star -- priority #1 is partying. The band says it's treating John to all the alcohol he wants.

Hetlinger will join Drowning Pool at their signing booth after their set -- here's hoping he gets to autograph someone's boobs.

Being one of the biggest stars of the Pokemon universe wasn't enough to get actress Veronica Taylor any special treatment -- she was shut out of all the "Pokemon Go" action.

Veronica played Ash, the Pokemon trainer, on the animated show's first 8 seasons -- and she tells TMZ, she was dying to jump on board to play when 'PG' was released last Thursday. However, game creators initially limited the number of people on the game -- to prevent crashes -- and Veronica got the short end.

Facebook is square in the middle of a shooting for the 2nd time in a week -- this time the victims are 3 men in Virginia who were chilling in a car when the shots were fired.

The incident went down in Norfolk on Tuesday while the men were listening to music, singing along to Lil Bibby's "Word Around Town" and smoking. They were also on Facebook Live when, without warning, a spray of bullets begins -- more than 20 shots fired.

The video is chilling and the camera remained on throughout the incident. Once the shots stop, you hear what appears to be a bystander telling them to stay awake and hold on for an ambulance.

All 3 were hospitalized and police say one of them has life-threatening injuries. So far no suspects, but police are aware of the FB vid and hope it can reveal any clues.

Exactly a week ago ... when Philando Castile was shot and killed by a police officer, his girlfriend used FB Live to stream the aftermath.

Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk didn't have a heated argument that drove her to tears ... she just needed some Claritin ... according to people who know them, anyway.

He says someone online frequently posts a pic of him holding his gun after high-profile shooting incidents. This time the meme went viral, and Meek fell for it ... sharing the image on his IG page.

According to Baton Rouge PD, the cops involved in the Alton Sterling slaying are actually named Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II.
