Yep, we ran into Jenna Fischer as she left the "Today" show in NYC -- where she was plugging her new 'Office'-themed podcast with Angela Kinsey -- and asked her point-blank ... if she and her TV hubby are divorced all these years later or nah???

Chrissy first raised the issue with a whole 'Office' romances theory that went viral -- she thinks every other couple EXCEPT J&P is going strong.

Food Network star and celebrity chef Carl Ruiz died from a hardening of his arteries ... TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Maryland Department of Health tells TMZ ... Ruiz died after succumbing to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease -- typically a buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances in arteries which restricts blood flow.

The finding confirms the suspicions of Carl's family ... that he died of a heart attack.

Mama June's crack cocaine possession case in Alabama is finally moving along ... she and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, both pled not guilty.

The couple wasn't present at the Macon County Courthouse Tuesday morning for their arraignment, but their lawyer entered a not guilty plea for them ... according to the D.A.'s office. They're both facing charges of felony drug possession.

Once again, the We TV production crew was on-site hoping to catch June and film her ... but came up empty.

We broke the story ... June and Geno made a loud entrance to face the judge last month, with Geno yelling out a homophobic slur as soon as he got out of their SUV and telling our photog to "f**k off."

Their plea hearing was postponed, but Geno declared "Not guilty!" anyway as they left. June was quiet and covered up under a hood while entering and exiting the courthouse, even refusing to talk to her sister ... who's been trying to get her help, to no avail.

Netflix and "When They See Us" creator Ava Duvernay are being sued over the police interrogation technique depicted in the film because its creator claims the movie got his method all wrong.

A former cop named John Reid claims in his lawsuit ... the Emmy-winning film defamed him by saying his method was used to squeeze statements out of the Central Park 5 suspects.

In particular, he points out a scene from episode 4 where a detective and someone from the D.A.'s Office are discussing the interrogation of the suspects. The prosecution staffer says to the detective, "You squeezed statements out of them after 42 hours of questioning and coercing, without food, bathroom breaks, withholding parental supervision. The Reid Technique has been universally rejected. That's truth to you."

In the lawsuit, Reid says the technique he created specifically does not teach withholding parental supervision, denying interview subjects any of their rights or making threats of physical harm. He claims it specifically calls for extra caution when interviewing minors.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Reid questions Duvernay saying, "We did our research" before making the film by inviting law enforcement personnel to discuss the case. Reid claims if that were true -- Ava would have learned his technique disavows the type of things depicted in the movie.

Alex Trebek is clearly having some difficulties taking the reigns of "Jeopardy!" as he undergoes a second round of chemo for pancreatic cancer, but it is full steam ahead and there are no signs Alex is throwing in the towel.

Trebek's recent interview with Canadian TV fueled speculation his days as the host of the iconic game show may be numbered. He said chemo has caused mouth sores to erupt, making it difficult to speak. Alex has said repeatedly, if his ability to host the show diminishes, he will step down, but we're told that's NOT on the horizon.

"Jeopardy!" production sources tell us the show is taped 2.5 months in advance, and as of now, they have shows well into December. So, if Alex is under the weather and misses a few tapings, it won't send the show into freefall.

This is creepy, even for Zak Bagans ... he got his hands on John Wayne Gacy's brain -- a brain he wants to buy -- and says he could sense the evil that consumed the serial killer.

The "Ghost Adventures" star tells TMZ ... he held Gacy's brain in his hands during a recent trip to the Chicago home where the late serial killer's forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Helen Morrison, keeps the organ ... which is preserved in a container in her basement.

Gacy -- infamously known as the "Killer Clown" -- was executed way back in 1994 after being convicted of murdering 33 young men and boys during the '70s, burying most of the bodies in a crawl space under his Chicago-area home.

Sources close to the 'Love & Hip Hop' newlyweds tell TMZ ... Erica dropped nearly $50k on a 14-carat rose gold, diamond Cuban chain for her new husband. The chain's encrusted with 36.65-carat diamonds ... and appropriately comes with a white gold "Daddy" lock.

Joe Giudice just had a bittersweet taste of freedom .... he's out of prison, but also he's been forced out of the United States.

As we reported, Joe convinced a judge to let him go to Italy while immigration officials decide his fate. The feds are in the middle of their effort to deport Joe ... this after his conviction for conspiracy to commit wire and bankruptcy fraud.

Joe served 36 months and was released in March, but he was then held by ICE while he fought deportation.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian took full advantage of the picturesque views in Armenia ... with a family photo shoot.

Kim, Kourtney and the entire fam dressed up in an all-black ensemble during their trip to Armenia. The entire brood joined in on the festivities ... North, Saint, Chicago, Psalm, Mason, Reign and Penelope.

Aaron Carter can't take direction well ... or so it seems, after losing his cool with paps.

The singer made an appearance at the "Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition" premiere party Thursday night at the Mondrian Hotel in WeHo where things quickly went from 0 to 100. Aaron had just arrived, flashed a smile and then flipped the double bird to photogs.

It's unclear what paps wanted him to do -- maybe not flip them off -- but as you can see from the video ... Aaron didn't like it and chastised paps, "You don't tell me what to do. I tell you guys what to do." Aaron then walked away and gave paps a death stare.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Snooki say they've tried reaching out to costar Ronnie Ortiz-Magro since his domestic violence arrest ... but claim he's gone radio silent.

The Sitch jumped on Snooki's podcast, "It's Happening with Snooki & Joey," and Mike revealed he's made multiple attempts to get in touch with Ronnie, but so far no dice. Ditto for Snooki ... who also lashed out at Ronnie's ex, Jen Harley, for being photographed showing off her alleged injuries stemming from an alleged violent encounter with Ronnie.

Mike says he fired off a stern message to Ronnie ... urging him to "wake the f**k up" before softening his tone. Snooki says she did the same before going off on Jen.

Kenya Moore's returning for the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," but it seems the war with her nemesis has fired up again ... even though Kenya says she comes in peace.

Moore was at Sally Beauty in Atlanta Wednesday for the launch of her haircare line, when we asked her about her issues with NeNe Leakes ... and she didn't hold back.

KJ Apa's character, Archie, is sitting in Pop's having breakfast when he gets a phone call before dropping his phone and falling to his knees. In the next scene, Archie is at home when a cop tells him Fred was driving home to Riverdale when he died in a hit and run.

You know Marvel's "X-Men" as defenders of justice, but a TV show -- in Hungary of all places -- claims Wolverine and co. are guilty of stealing the theme song to their hit cartoon.

A guy named Zoltan Krisko is suing every media giant you can imagine -- Marvel, Disney, FOX, Apple, Amazon and more -- claiming the TV execs behind the animated series from the '90s jacked the intro music from an even older show ... called "Linda."

Bear with us ... "Linda" aired in Hungary from 1984 to 1991, and according to a lawsuit filed by Krisko it was a hit cop comedy/thriller. Hey, genres are different over there.

Anyway, Krisko says he manages the estate of a Hungarian composer named Gyorgy Vukan, who created and copyrighted the "Linda" theme song in 1983. Krisko says it sounds exactly like the tune the "X-Men" cartoon used years later.

Safaree and Erica Mena tied the knot in a blowout ceremony at a castle ... and we've got the first look at her wedding dress!!!

The 'Love and Hip Hop' stars got married Monday at the Legacy Castle in New Jersey ... and Erica was wearing a flowing white dress, which matched Safaree's white tuxedo.

Our sources say Safaree started crying as Erica walked down the aisle with her son ... and 'L&HH' cameras were on hand to capture the couple's very emotional day.

The wedding was super tight-knit and personal -- just family and close friends -- and there were a handful of celebs in attendance ... including Remy Ma, Joe Budden, Papoose and 'L&HH' castmates Sierra and Karlie Redd.

After the ceremony, Safaree and Erica changed into different outfits for a wild reception inside the castle ... and we're told the party lasted way past midnight!!!
