Floyd Mayweather Pissed Over Lowball Bids at Bugatti Auction

Published | Updated

Floyd Mayweather's insanely expensive Bugatti didn't sell at auction this weekend ... despite a $1.9 MILLION bid ... because the number was still much lower than Floyd was hoping to get.

As we previously reported, Floyd put his white 2011 Veyron Grand Sport on the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson auto show in Scottsdale, AZ this weekend.

The boxer was expecting to make a profit after reportedly paying $3.5 mil for the whip ... but that's not how things went down.

We're told the reserve on the car (the lowest number he would agree to sell the car for) was $2 million ... and the highest bid was still $100,000 short of that. Aerosmith's Steven Tyler had expressed interest in the car, but clearly, things didn't work out.

Our sources tell us Floyd was visibly upset and left the auction early. Now, Floyd has to look for another high-end car buyer ... which isn't impossible ... it's just very time-consuming.

Meantime, Floyd's pal, Justin Bieber, sold his Ferrari for a whopping $430k ... which is higher than some car experts thought it would get!

Props to our friends at Velocity’s Barrett Jackson LIVE for the video.

THE COMEBACK KID

WBA boxing champ Daniel Jacobs says he's sure he's gonna beat GGG in their upcoming fight and all because he's already bested an opponent way tougher than Golovkin ... cancer.

Jacobs was diagnosed with osteosarcoma -- a rare form of bone cancer -- in 2011 and missed nearly 19 months from the sport before resuming his career.

We got Jacobs in L.A. and he told us that fight was the toughest of his life ... and because of that ordeal he has absolutely ZERO fear of GGG, who's knocked out his last 23 opponents.

The two men are set to square off May 18 in MSG ... and besides his record against cancer, DJ has one more reason you should bet on him to win ... and it's a solid one.

Dana thinks Floyd should be grateful to him for offering him enough to pay Uncle Sam and Pristine Jewelers.

What's more ... the UFC honcho thinks its ridiculous that Floyd is under the delusion he's worth more than Conor.

We got Floyd out earlier Friday, and he scoffed at Dana's offer.

IT'S ALL ABOUT RESPECT

Soulja Boy needs to clear the air about boxing Chris Brown -- telling us exactly why he's fighting, how the match will end ... and about his struggle to put down weed beforehand.

Soulja sounded focused and pumped about training when we got him Friday at LAX. He says there will definitely be a knockout ... no matter what Mike Tyson says.

He says last he heard -- from Floyd Mayweather -- the fight's happening in Vegas or L.A. ... but Soulja's just getting back from Hong Kong, and we're guessing he missed the update from Wack 100 that it's moving to Dubai.

Soulja also had one final message for Chris, and it's a little hard to believe.

IT'S A WEST COAST SITUATION

Floyd Mayweather is NOT calling the shots in the Soulja Boy vs. Chris Brown fight and has NO SAY in where it will go down ... this according to Soulja's personal fight promoter, Wack 100.

Wack isn't just Soulja's promoter -- he also manages Game and Ray J and is extremely well-connected in the West Coast gang scene ... especially with the Piru Bloods, the organization of which Chris and Soulja claim to be members.

Wack says he heard Mayweather dispute the location of the fight during an appearance on ESPN's "First Take" ... but says the boxer was straight-up wrong when he shot down Dubai.

Wack says the fight is a "West Coast thing" and, while he's got love for Mayweather, explains that Floyd is just "a guy from Michigan who lives in Vegas."
