Well, UFC 200 has some problems ... as both headliners have apparently retired ... with Nate Diaz joining Conor McGregor on the beach.

Conor McGregor 'I Have Decided to Retire Young' ... Internet Loses Mind

Published | Updated

Conor McGregor is either messing with his fans ... or just made one of the most shocking announcements of all time ... implying he's RETIRING.

McGregor went to Twitter and wrote, "I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya's later."

We've reached out to Conor's camp -- so far, it's radio silence.

We've also spoken with a handful of plugged in UFC people -- and so far, no one seems to know if it's a joke or if Conor is seriously hanging it up.

Meantime, Conor is scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 200 on July 9th.

We're working on it -- stay tuned.

NHL's Sean Avery I Got a Role In Boston Bombing Movie

Published | Updated

Pretty big opportunity for ex-NHLer-turned-actor Sean Avery ... who says he just locked up a role in Mark Wahlberg's new movie about the Boston Marathon bombings.

Avery posted a pic of himself in a Watertown PD uniform ... just days after announcing he got a role in "Patriots Day."

FYI -- The Watertown PD heroically hunted down the terrorists who placed the bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon.

Unclear how big of a role Avery will have, but he's clearly excited about it.

As for Wahlberg, he was actually in character at the Marathon Monday to shoot scenes for the movie ... which co-stars John Goodman, Kevin Bacon and J.K. Simmons.

Kanye West The LIES of Pablo ... Sued Over Tidal Promise

Published | Updated

Kanye West pulled a fast one on his fans by backing out on a promise that Tidal would be the ONLY place to get his new album ... at least that's how one pissed off fan sees it, and he's suing.

You'll recall, Kanye vowed "The Life of Pablo" would never be available on Apple or Spotify or any other streaming service besides Tidal ... which of course is owned by his pal Jay Z.

Justin Baker-Rhett says that was enough to get him to sign up for Tidal -- and it worked on 2 million other Yeezus fans who also bought subscriptions. In his class action lawsuit, he says the bump saved the floundering service because the new users added $84 million to Tidal's bottom line.

But then lo and behold ... 'Pablo' was up on Apple Music, Spotify and eventually Kanye's own website too.

Baker-Rhett feels like he and other fans were tricked into "paying for Tidal's rescue." He clearly regrets dropping that $9.99 for the service. He's suing Kanye and Tidal for damages.

Zac Brown Apologizes to Fans ... I Shoulda Listened to My Daddy

I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession."

In his Facebook post, the country music star added, "Everyone is responsible for their actions, and I regret using poor judgment and putting myself in that position."

Zac's post confirmed the story TMZ broke about the drug bust of 4 people he was partying with in the hotel room. Zac did NOT mention the starstruck police officers who asked him for autographs and also lied to protect him.

He also said, "My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It’s a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Broncos' Brandon Marshall Passenger in Road Rage Incident

Just days after Will Smith was shot and killed in an apparent road rage incident ... another NFL star says he was a passenger in a similar situation where things got thiiiis close to getting violent.

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall just tweeted about the situation ... saying, "My uber driver a G, Somebody cut him off and almost hit him. And he pulled up to the side of him and got out the car and told him to get out."

What's especially scary is the fact Marshall says his driver got OUT of the car to confront the other guy ... it's almost exactly what appears to have happened in New Orleans.

This time, it appears the situation was diffused before things got violent ... thankfully.

Johnny Manziel's Agent Get Treatment Or You're Fired

Published | Updated

Johnny Manziel has gotten an ultimatum from his agent -- go to rehab ... or find a new agent.

After TMZ Sports broke the story that Manziel was the passenger in an alleged hit-and-run incident over the weekend, Manziel's agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter he's laid down the gauntlet with the QB.

"I have terminated the standard representation with Johnny Manziel in the hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs," Rosenhaus said.

"I have informed him that if he takes the immediate steps I have outlined for him that I will rescind the termination and continue to represent him. Otherwise the termination will become permanent."

"There is a five-day window for me to rescind the termination. I’m hoping he takes the necessary steps to get his life back on track."

Manziel was dropped by his previous agent Erik Burkhardt for similar reasons. Manziel did get treatment last year for an unspecified issue -- but later insisted he did NOT have a drinking problem.

Will Smith Did Not Threaten to Shoot Killer ... Family Lawyer Says

Published | Updated

Will Smith did NOT threaten to get his gun and shoot Cardell Hayes before Hayes unloaded on Will and his wife ... this according to Smith's family lawyer.

Attorney Peter Thomson just addressed the media ... and painted Hayes as a bizarre coldblooded killer who not only initiated the conflict ... but cowardly shot Will in the back 6 to 8 times as he walking away.

Here's the version of the story Thomson told, according to Will's wife, passenger and other witnesses.

Will's car was leaving a restaurant when a Hummer stopped suddenly in front of them -- forcing Will to slam on his brakes.

Believing there was no contact made and no damage, Will drove off -- only for the Hummer to give chase and "ram" the back of Will's SUV so hard, he shattered the back windshield.

Will got out and the two men exchanged words ... insisting Hayes was "enraged ... yelling and cursing."

Will's wife and another female passenger got out of the car and tried to diffuse the situation -- and "after some time" they began to walk Will back to the SUV.

That's when, according to Thomson, Hayes followed them and opened fire -- striking Will's wife Raquel twice, once in each leg. She collapses.

"The killer then unloads 6 to 8 shots into Will's back."

Thomson says Hayes then stood over Smith's dead body and began yelling and screaming.

When asked about reports Will had threatened to get his gun and shoot first, Thomson adamantly denied the claims.

"I'm aware of nothing that Will Smith did that would cause this killer to be afraid of his life to the point where he would follow him after the situation would be diffused," Thomson said.

"There's NOTHING Will Smith ever said that would have caused that."

Future Ciara's Washed Up

Future's firing back at Ciara's $15 million defamation lawsuit ... saying he couldn't possibly have damaged her rep, since she's currently lacking one.

In his counter lawsuit ... Future flat out says his ex-fiancee's career has been expired for a few years. He does call her fan base "reasonably large" -- but also refers to her last album as a "flop" ... and says she hasn't won many awards since 2013.
