Drea De Matteo I Lost My Apartment in NYC Explosion
"Sopranos" star Drea De Matteo was among those who lost their apartment in Thursday's dramatic building explosion in the East Village area of New York City.
De Matteo posted a pair of photos from across the street as firefighters worked to put out the blaze. She wrote, "A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood ... NYC's finest trying to put out the flames to mine n many others apartments."
The explosion happened around 3:17 PM ET and the resulting fire tore through several buildings, a mix of residential and commercial properties. The cause of the explosion is said to be "gas-related."
Officials say at least 19 people were injured, at least four critically.

Richard Simmons My Bushes are So Beautiful They Make Me Cry
Richard Simmons has hardly left his house in more than a year, but it's ok because he's so smitten by what the landscaper has done, it makes him break down in tears.
We got this audio recording of Richard calling Angie's List and you'd think he was giving props to Michelangelo. In this case the artist is landscaper Alvaro Garibay, who trims Richard's bushes to a fare-thee-well.
You gotta listen. It was recorded in 2013, before Richard went MIA, but you can hear how his gated estate has become his refuge.
And the biggest bonus of all ... Richard says his Hispanic gardeners speak really good English.

Carson Daly Sued Gas Station Fuming Over Chain Link Fence
Carson Daly may have THOUGHT good fences make good neighbors, but his fence just got him sued.
Carson owns a house in a really nice part of Santa Monica overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There's a Chevron gas station next door -- we know that sounds weird, but it's a whole topography thing.
Seems the gas station believes Carson's fence is sitting on its property, and not by inches -- by feet. The gas station has sued Carson, asking a judge to make it clear to the host of "The Voice" he has to remove the chain link.
But that's not all. The friendly petroleum folks want money, and apparently lots of it.
We've reached out to Carson's rep but no word back.
What would you pay to hear the judge call the case and say, "Chain chain chain, chain chain chain, chain chain chain, chain of fools."

Oprah Winfrey Look at My Nudes! They're All for Sale
Oprah Winfrey is holding the yard sale to end all yard sales -- in the form of a massive online auction -- and the items up for sale reveal ... Oprah's a little bit of a freak.
Look past her run-of-the-mill plates, tables, chairs, etc. -- and the thing that stands out is her abundance of nude artwork. For example, there's the set of four framed nude male mythological figures ... expected to fetch between $800-$1,200.
There's also a nude painting by Aristide Maillol ($8,000-$12,000), a few Ellie Dolgin nude statues (around $10,000), and a painting of a nude woman by Richard Edward Miller with an estimated worth of $80,000-$120,000.
There's also a weight set that looks barely used (no shade, just the truth) for about $500, a pen with Oprah's name on it for $50, and some kind of lamb sculpture that lays for about $2,000.
Maybe just stick with the nudes.

Justin Bieber Egging Victim You Destroyed My Career So I Want A Million Bucks
Justin Bieber's egging victim demanded a million dollars for destroying his reputation as an online auto industry leader.
Sources close to the situation say Jeff Schwartz feels he's known everywhere as the guy Bieber egged and spit on, and it's damaging the reputation he's built up over 20 years in car sales media software.
We're told Schwartz isn't satisfied with the $80k Bieber has already anted up for the egging damage. Now he wants money for his good name. He also wants money because he claims Bieber verbally abused his wife and daughter.
We're told Schwartz gave Bieber's people an ultimatum ... pay him $1 million or else he'd sue. Bieber's people told Schwartz to pound sand, so he filed suit this week.
Bieber -- who moved away from Schwartz and Calabasas -- pled no contest to vandalism for the egging and was placed on 2 years probation.
Justin's people dispute much of what Schwartz claims.
David Copperfield Swimming Pool Disaster Floods Entire High Rise
David Copperfield's water broke ... his NYC penthouse pool is now empty, because all the water cascaded into the units 30 floors below.
It happened March 8, according to the NY Post. Apparently the pump malfunctioned and water drenched the illusionist's 4-story East Side penthouse. But that's just the beginning. The H20 made it's way down the building, knocking elevators out of commission. Water made its way through walls and floors, all the way to the basement.
David had vintage arcade pieces from Coney Island as well as many other antiques in his pad, but somehow they were spared. But plenty of damage was done.
Copperfield was performing in Vegas when it happened.
His lawyer told the Post, the pool will be refilled when they're sure it's fail safe. As for lawsuits, the lawyer says, "This is New York City. Nothing would surprise me."
Based on our experience lawsuits like this are not peculiar to the Big Apple.
Nick Cannon Scoping Out New L.A. Man Cave
Nick Cannon is already back on the prowl -- searching for a bachelor pad where he can crash in L.A.
Our real estate sources say Nick is sniffing around Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills for his new West Coast HQ. We're told his criteria are pretty simple -- fully furnished and rent to own.
As we first told you ... Nick's already dropping $11k/month on a sprawling New Jersey mansion he scooped up a few weeks ago.
As for the furnished part -- it's just a bachelor pad, and let's be honest ... he's done enough remodeling lately.

Justin Bieber Neighborly Run-In with Emmy Rossum ... Not Her Cup of Sugar
Justin Bieber is nothing more than a punk kid on the block to Emmy Rossum -- who says her first run-in with her new neighbor will definitely be her last.
Emmy was on "Sway in the Morning" on SiriusXM this week, and said she went out of her way to welcome Justin to her Beverly Hills 'hood when he moved in last month -- but ran into a wall of bodyguards.
She says Bieber eventually showed up, but was balling so hard that -- well, you gotta see her describe it.
As for getting any future invites to JB's legendary ragers ... Emmy's not concerned.

Justin Bieber Sued By Egging Victim Claims Bodyguard Called Him 'Little Jew Boy'
Justin Bieber is being sued by his former neighbor whose house was egged by JB and his buddies, claiming he and his wife have suffered emotional distress because the singer's bodyguard called him "little Jew boy."
Jeff Schwartz claims in the lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- the epithet was hurled months before his house was egged in January, 2014. Bieber ended up pleading no contest to vandalism and went on probation. He also shelled out $80k for the repairs.
But Schwartz wants more, claiming Bieber and his crew terrorized their Calabasas neighborhood while JB lived there, with loud parties, drag races and disgusting encounters which included Justin spitting on him, something Justin has denied.
Schwartz also claims Bieber hurled obscenities at his wife and minor daughter.
Schwartz claims on Memorial Day weekend of 2013, Bieber was speeding around the neighborhood in his Ferrari. Schwartz and a friend walked over to Bieber and told him to stop because he was putting lives at risk. He claims Bieber's bodyguards then came out and one of them called him a "little Jew boy," and repeatedly said, "What are you going to do about it, Jew boy?"
Schwartz wants damages for emotional distress.

Bristol Palin Dumping Old House For New Fiance
Now that Bristol Palin's got a man ... she has no need for a house -- at least not the one she's been living in because she's unloading her half a million dollar home near Sarah Palin.
Real estate sources tell TMZ ... Bristol is rarely home now that she's all hooked up with her new fiance, Medal of Honor winner Sgt. Dakota Meyer -- so she doesn't need the 3-bed, 3.5-bath 3,200 sq. ft. pad anymore.
She snagged the lakeside digs in Wasilla back in 2011 for $388k, but now wants $549k for it. We're told she completely remodeled it -- plus, it's got sweet mountain and lake views from the master bedroom.
As for where Bristol and her man are moving -- we're not sure yet, but we'd be shocked if she ended up in the Lower 48.
Leaving Mama Bear ... always risky.

Hard Rock Founder Multi-Millions Lost in Flames Hamptons Mansion Burns
Billionaire tycoon Peter Morton's Hamptons mansion -- which he dropped $10 million to buy -- went up in flames ... and there's almost nothing left of the place.
The Hard Rock Cafe founder's castle-like crib caught fire Wednesday afternoon in East Hampton, NY -- and 7 fire departments sent trucks to fight the blaze which appeared to engulf all 10 bedrooms of the 10,000 sq. ft. beachfront spread.
Morton shared the home with his 3 adult children. No no one was home when the fire started -- though a construction company was reportedly working on the property.
Unknown what started the fire at this point, but no one was hurt ... besides Morton's wallet.
Morton bought the mansion back in 1998 -- so, it's gotta be worth more than double that $10 mil by now.
Note: Remember to pay your insurance premium.

'Perfect Strangers' Star Bronson Pinchot The Bank Took My Homes
Balki may be moving back in with cousin Larry ... a Pennsylvania bank has foreclosed on two of Bronson Pinchot's homes after he missed more than $270k in mortgage payments.
According to the court docs, the "Perfect Strangers" star stopped making payments on 2 of his homes 2 years ago, and apparently the bank had it and foreclosed. The homes were featured on his now-defunct DIY Network show, "The Bronson Pinchot Project."
Pinchot owed $186k on one, and more than $85k on the other. The bank now owns both properties.
We reached out to Bronson ... he had no comment.

Robert Durst Police Raid Houston Home
Cops are tearing through Robert Durst's Houston home right now ... possibly seeking evidence in the Susan Berman murder case.
Several marked and unmarked Houston PD cars pulled up outside Durst's high-rise complex Tuesday afternoon. The subject of HBO's "The Jinx" docuseries is still sitting in a New Orleans jail following his weekend arrest, and awaiting extradition to L.A to face a murder one charge.
It's unclear if the search warrant relates to the murder case ... or if cops in NOLA are trying to build a separate case. Cops there say Durst had a gun and drugs when he was arrested -- and there's a possibility he could face charges.

NeNe Leakes I Am VERY Rich ... Drops Wad On HUGE Georgia Mansion
NeNe Leakes ain't the next Joan Rivers yet ... but she's acting like she's got that "Fashion Police" cash by snagging a $2.1 mil Georgia estate.
According to our real estate sources ... NeNe plunked down $750k on the 9,511 sq. ft., 6 bed, 7 bath villa nestled in the swank gated Sugarloaf Country Club.
Apparently, between "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," her appearances and her HSN clothing line, she's doing more than fine ... and now, when she's not brushing up on fashion, she can hit the links and work on her swing.
But we know who she'd really like to practice her swing on ... looking at you Cynthia.

Jen Aniston Drunk Driver Firmly Planted in Front Yard
A drunk driver became an unwanted visitor at Jennifer Aniston's house Saturday night after the guy hit a curb and took out some of her plants.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... it happened at around 8:30 PM at her Bel Air estate. It's unclear if Jen was home, but her rusty trusty security guy instantly called 911.
When cops arrived the driver told them he was not behind the wheel, but security footage from the home clearly showed otherwise. The guy flunked the field sobriety tests and was arrested.
It feels like he was stuck in second gear.
Manny Pacquiao BUYS DIDDY'S OLD MANSION ... And Everything In It!
Manny Pacquiao has just pulled the trigger on Diddy's former Beverly Hills mansion -- TMZ Sports has learned he's officially buying the $12.5 million estate ... AND EVERYTHING INSIDE OF IT!
We broke the story ... Pacman fell in love with the 10,000 square foot pad as soon as he stepped on the property last weekend -- and now our real estate sources say he made the quick decision to buy.
But there was a catch ... Manny wanted to move FAST -- demanding a lightning fast escrow period so his massive Filipino family has a place to stay when they come to L.A. for the fight.
In fact, Manny's in such a rush ... he worked out a deal to get the house fully furnished with the furniture, art and appliances that are currently inside the place.
And get this -- the owners have even agreed to STOCK THE WET BAR for Pacman as part of the deal. Baller stuff.
As we previously reported, Diddy lived in the house in the late '90s (back when he was Puff Daddy) ... and sold it in 2001. The place is sick -- with 7 bedroom, 7.5 baths and a crazy $200,000 home theater.
Perfect for family karaoke nights.
Congrats!
