The FBI is now on the hunt for the hackers who violated SNL's Leslie Jones ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, the FBI is developing a strategy for tracking down the person or people who hacked into her iCloud and cell phone and posted nude photos and personal information on her website.

It's unclear whether agents from the West Coast or East Coast will launch the investigation ... Leslie lives in both New York and L.A.

From what we can gather, this is exclusively an FBI investigation ... we've checked with both the NYPD and the LAPD and they don't have the case.

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan's TV studio was a dark and dangerous place -- and not only because of their feud -- according to an audience member who says she had a trippy and painful experience.

The woman, named Judith, says her January 2014 visit to "Live with Kelly and Michael" included a hard fall on her ass, and she's blaming it on an incompetent employee leading her through a poorly lit area of the studio with cables all over the place.

She's not specific about exactly how she went down, but in the lawsuit she just filed ... she mentions the words "negligent" and "negligence" dozens of times while describing the scene. She calls it "trap like" conditions.

A couple of kids are trying to take down "Empire" -- or at least take some of the show's money -- for stopping them from getting an education ... behind bars.

The kids are teenage juvenile detention center inmates in Chicago ... and they say their home away from home was upset when Terrence Howard and Chris Rock swooped in last year to shoot scenes for season two's premiere episodes.

According to them all the kids at Cook Co. Juvenile Temporary Detention Center were put on lockdown -- held in cells and pods -- during nearly 2 weeks of shooting. While in lockdown, they had no access to the rec yard, library, and chapel ... and family visits were interrupted.

The teens say their education was turned upside down too because although teachers were sent to cells and pods ... they say the tutoring was not effective. As they put it, "This was 'school' in name only," and often times "chaotic."

The teen inmates have boned up on TV accounting too -- they point out the "Empire" episodes made a ton of cash ... up to $750k per 30 second commercial, and they want a cut. They've filed the class action suit against FOX, Cook County and the warden.

The sick criminals behind the cyber-attack on Leslie Jones are sadly mistaken if they think they're gonna break her ... according to her "Ghostbusters" nemesis.

Adam Ray was the voice of Slimer, but he's also a good friend of Leslie's from the comedy circuit -- and he had an interesting take on the hackers who exposed her personal information and nude photos.

Frances Bean Cobain's estranged husband says he won't have a penny to his name without her ... so he's asking a judge to make her pay up.

Isaiah Silva is requesting spousal support, and according to the docs he wants a ton of it -- nothing less than $25k a month.

Isaiah says he left a steady job when they got married and Frances promised to cover a bunch of his monthly expenses, including paying private school and housing bills for his child from a previous relationship.

Now, he says Frances wants to renege on those commitments. Isaiah claims Frances has upwards of $100 mil in her dad's estate, and says he deserves half of the money she earned off business deals made during the 2 year marriage. He says there's no prenup.

Thomas Gibson says he's just one of many Americans who got screwed by Volkswagen's massive recall last year, and now he wants to settle the score in court.

In a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ ... Thomas claims an L.A. dealership, and VW by association, lied to his face when they told him his 2012 Audi Q7 offered him horsepower, fuel efficiency AND clean diesel.

He says those claims were BS, noting the feds found VW -- Audi's parent co. -- passed government emissions tests under false pretenses ... which lead to its recall of roughly 11 million cars worldwide.

Thomas -- who's freshly unemployed -- says he's opted out of the class action suit against VW. He's going all lone wolf, presumably because he thinks it'll net him more dough out of zee Germans.

Hope Solo has just been benched by Team USA soccer for SIX MONTHS -- for trashing Team Sweden as a "bunch of cowards" after they beat the U.S. in an Olympic match earlier this month.

Kim Richards narrowly avoided jail after blowing off her community service and AA meetings in her shoplifting case.

Kim's lawyers were in court Wednesday for a probation violation hearing ... this after she missed the deadline for completing 30 days of community service and 52 AA sessions.

Her lawyers presented proof that Kim belatedly did most of her community service and is now up to date on AA meetings, so the judge cut her a break.

Kim stays on probation and everything must be completed by the next hearing in November.

Kim was convicted of shoplifting for stealing $600 worth of stuff from Target.

Faith Evans just scored one for single moms everywhere -- a judge shot down a promoter's request to block her from performing at the Bad Boy Family Reunion concert in Atlanta.

The judge ultimately sided with Faith cause she's a single mom of 3 who makes a living performing ... and it wouldn't be fair to stop her from performing with Diddy on Sept. 8 in Atlanta. On the other hand, Jeremy Hill -- the promoter who sued her -- had already replaced her for his concert ... according to legal docs.

TMZ broke the story ... Hill sued Faith when she bailed on his Sept. 10 concert at Wolf Creek Amphitheater. He's seeking damages in excess of $100k.

It's interesting ... according to the docs, the judge acknowledged Faith breached her contract with Hill, whose goodwill and credibility was on the line. The judge also noted that since replacing Faith -- with the R&B band Next -- the show hasn't been selling.

Plus ... since Hill announced Faith was no longer performing at his concert, he said he's received around 200 requests for refunds.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are being sued by 17 concertgoers who were injured when a front row railing collapsed at their New Jersey concert earlier this month.

You'll recall ... at least 40 people were hurt -- several had to be hospitalized -- when the crowd barrier gave out without warning. One of the victims says he suffered a fractured spine.

According to the suit, Snoop and Wiz yelled, "Everybody in the mother******* grass bring your ass down here" ... right before the collapse. The plaintiffs say that call to action caused the stampede which lead to the collapse.

Three of the plaintiffs were employees at the venue, BB&T Pavilion. Live Nation, which owns the venue, is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. They say the company had made shoddy repairs on the railing in the last year.

After the collapse, people fell roughly 10 feet onto the concrete below, and the show ended abruptly.

Tamar Braxton's domestic dispute with her husband got so down and dirty, he bit into her hand ... according to a friend who called police.

TMZ obtained the 911 call made Sunday from the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta -- the caller immediately tells the operator about the alleged bite, and Vincent Herbert fleeing the scene.

As you can imagine ... the operator's concerned an ambulance will be needed.

Neither Tamar nor Vincent is saying what really went down. We got them at LAX the next day, and they made it seem like all's right in their world.

Ryan Lochte is going to get punished by the USOC ... but sources connected with the 4 swimmers don't think it's fair for the organization to annihilate them to appease those who are out for blood.

Lochte's lawyer, Jeff Ostrow, tells TMZ he has faith in the USOC and that the organization will punish Lochte in a manner that matches his conduct during the drunken Brazilian escapade. Ostrow would not say more.

Michael Phelps' punishment for his 2 DUIs is unquestionably relevant. The reality is ... but for the grace of God, Phelps could have killed an innocent person while driving drunk. After his second DUI in 2014, the USOC imposed a 6-month suspension.

The org. did not strip Phelps of his medals or keep him from competing in the 2016 Olympics.

As for Lochte and crew, they were drunk as well, but none got behind the wheel. Our sources say worst-case scenario ... Lochte damaged a sign outside a gas station bathroom and peed on the grass.

As for the "lies" -- our sources are adamant ... he and the other swimmers were taken out of a cab at gunpoint and ordered to turn over hundreds of dollars ... classic robbery. The sources acknowledge the swimmers were deceptive by implying they were pulled over in a moving cab.

Bottom line ... sources connected with the 4 swimmers say a 6-month suspension would be harsh given Phelps' punishment, but could still be justified. Anything more, they say, is just vengeance to appease the media and the public.

Team USA swimmer Jimmy Feigen says Brazilian officials tried to shake him down following the gas station incident in Rio ... demanding more than $46,000 to let him leave the country.

Feigen just spelled out the situation in a statement through his lawyer -- saying on the day he was scheduled to leave Rio -- hell broke loose at a Brazilian courthouse.

Tonya Couch, the mother of the "affluenza" teen who fled to Mexico with her son, is back on her feet -- especially during happy hour -- tending bar.

We've learned Ethan Couch's mom is slinging drinks at the Honky Tonk Woman Saloon in Azle, TX. Tonya's telling her customers the Saloon gig was a lifesaver because no one wanted to hire her after she and Ethan were captured in Mexico last year. We're told she's had the job for about a month.

Tonya was cleared to start working in June. She was just released from house arrest on Tuesday, but still has to wear an ankle monitor. Ethan's doing 2 years for violating probation -- and Tonya's still facing 2 felonies -- for their illegal jaunt to Mexico.

The Honky Tonk Woman calls itself a bar for people from all walks of life, hosting pig roasts, NASCAR parties and biker rallies. Definitely a good time, but a long way from Couch's old comfy life in the 'burbs.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian just scored a legal victory against the beauty company that was plastering their mugs all over the Internet to hawk a cosmetic line.

TMZ broke the story ... the girls sued Haven Beauty -- which bought a failing cosmetics line called Boldface -- claiming the company had no right to use their images to sell its products.

The company fired back -- the prior owner made a deal with the Kardashian sisters in which they obligated themselves to promote the cosmetic line, which included using their images on the company's website.

The girls fired back again, saying yes, they made a deal, but Haven and the prior owner screwed them out of royalties so the deal was over.

A judge just agreed with K, K and K, and issued an injunction prohibiting Haven from using a trace of the famed trio.

There are still legal issues to settle, but the ruling is a big victory for the women.

Blac Chyna sent a woman to the hospital ... at least according to a woman who has now filed suit against the the future Mrs. Kardashian.

TMZ broke the story ... Chyna's friend, Paige Addison, was tooling around in Chyna's BMW back in November when she blew a stop sign and slammed into an SUV and injured 2 people inside. The lawsuit claims Chyna should've known Paige was a bad driver and should never have let her take the wheel.

Paige was charged with felony hit-and-run.

The people in the SUV want medical expenses, lost wages and other damages.
