An "American Idol" contestant got an earful from the show ... and now he's suing because the show screwed up his hearing so much it all but ruined his music career.

Michael Simeon claims he was fitted for an earpiece during his 2014 stint on the show and it caused him immediate, excruciating pain. When he pleaded for the audiologist to remove it, Simeon claims she yanked it out of his ear with such ferocity, it took out a portion of his eardrum.

To add insult to literal injury, Simeon says he was writhing in pain and all producers did was send him to a room where he sat for 5 agonizing hours.

Simeon says he was treated for tympanoplasty and hasn't performed at nearly the same level ever since. He finished in the top 24 that year of season 14.

He doesn't say how much he wants, but he's clearly gunning for a lot.

A woman claiming to be Katt Williams' ex now wants a judge to 86 all record of what she considers a legal union, but Katt insists there's nothing to wipe clean.

Eboni Gray filed to annul her alleged domestic partnership with Katt. She claims they were together, in the eyes of the law, from 2010 to 2011. In the docs, she asks for spousal support, which is odd since annulments don't typically end up with either party getting money.

It's like asking the court to declare nothing ever happened, but still demanding money for the thing that never happened. Makes no sense.

Eboni says she wants the annulment because Katt was of "unsound mind" while they were together -- but a source close to Katt tells us she's the one off her rocker. We're told Eboni worked for Katt during his comedy tour back then, but only for one week.

Steve Francis just posed for another mug shot, 'cause he finally turned himself in on a warrant stemming from a burglary charge earlier this year.

As we previously reported, the ex-NBA star was wanted by cops in Manatee, Florida after he allegedly ransacked a stranger's car back in June and stole over $7k in stuff.

Francis was arrested for DWI in Houston a few weeks ago -- and when Florida police caught wind of that, they issued a warrant for his arrest for the burglary incident.

According to jail records, Francis turned himself in early Monday on a burglary of an unoccupied conveyance charge -- a 3rd degree felony that carries up to 5 years in prison.

Rapper Juelz Santana is a deadbeat dad ... so say authorities in NJ looking to nail him for a ton of back child support.

Juelz owes nearly $30k to his baby mama for their 13-year-old son, LaRon Jr. ... according to legal docs obtained by TMZ. Juelz was ordered to pay $1,800 a month back in 2013, but you could say he's fallen a little behind -- since Jers says he owes $28,491.32.

Kenya Moore's ex is entering Lindsay Lohan and DMX territory after racking up at least 4 arrests within the last year ... TMZ has learned.

We obtained police docs in Georgia that show Matt Jordan's first bust came in March when he was pulled over for swerving, but got arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Next up, 2 arrests in June! The first for speeding and driving on a suspended license -- and just 2 days later he was back in cuffs for a failure to appear warrant.

He saved the best, or worst, for last. In September, Jordan was driving past cops and allegedly shouted homophobic slurs at them. Things escalated and officers ended up firing a Taser into his back, which they say he ripped out and fled into the woods. Cops went to his car, found his ID and arrested him 4 days later for felony obstruction and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Kenya's also accused him of throwing her clothes out of her house during an argument, damaging her property, breaking into her garage and spray-painting her security cameras. Jordan was not arrested for those alleged incidents.

Jordan's recently claimed his relationship with the "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star was mostly fake, and producers just portrayed him as the crazy bf.

Stevie Wonder's such a legend, even his tax liens are entertaining ... because the tax collector is looking for a sum of cash Stevie's most likely got tucked in his back pocket right now.

L.A. County says Stevie owes -- wait for it -- a whopping $645.32 for unpaid property taxes. We see plenty of tax liens dropped on celebs ... from several million owed down to a couple thousand, but we've never seen one this tiny.

He's clearly got this kinda cash ... so we're guessing this is a clerical error. We reached out to Stevie's people, but haven't heard back.

Sherri Shepherd's ex-husband and baby daddy says the comedian is making a lot more cash, and he's asking for a bigger chunk of that change for child support payments.

Lamar Sally -- who has a 2-year-old son with Shepherd -- just filed docs in L.A. saying Sherri's $4,100 a month just ain't cuttin' it. Sally says when their deal was first made, it was under the belief Sherri raked in just over $1 mil a year ... but now he says he believes her income's closer to $3 mil.

Lamar claims their son has a medical condition that requires plenty of expensive medical treatment. He claims Sherri's acting gigs, stand-up career and 3% profit grab in a wig company are her main money makers.

Sally's also asking for $75k to cover legal expenses from their nasty divorce.

You'll remember -- the two went back and forth for over a year regarding the surrogate child -- with Sherri asking to be broken of all ties to the kid.

Former WWE superstar Shad Gaspard nailed a real-life takedown of an armed robber Saturday night at a Florida convenience store.

Coral Springs PD tells TMZ Sports ... they responded to a call around midnight for an attempted armed robbery at the store. According to police, the suspect appeared to be drunk, walked up to Shad and said, "Hey man, buy me a beer." When Shad said, "There's a better way to ask than that" ... police say the suspect whipped out his firearm.

The store clerk says Shad quickly shoved the suspect against the cooler door, grabbed the guy's gun and it fell to the ground.

Shad tells us he was trying to remove the gun's magazine when he saw an air canister compartment, and realized it was just a BB gun. The 6'7", nearly 300 lb. ex-wrestler took over at that point -- taking the dumbass to the ground and holding him until officers arrived.

Pro Wrestling Sheet also reported Shad's heroics, which were pretty bad ass ... especially considering he didn't know it was a BB gun. That makes no difference to cops, btw -- the suspect was booked for robbery with a weapon.

Swedish House Mafia DJ Steve Angello denies putting an ex-nanny through torturous work conditions, and claims SHE was the one putting his children's lives in danger.

Steve is pissed off at Marlo Gordon for suing him and his wife for wrongful termination. He says they only 86'd Gordon after discovering she was drinking ... on the job, and on their dime.

The famed DJ claims he was out of town for a gig when his mother spotted the nanny in a local bar with his 4 and 6-year-old daughters. He says they'd given Gordon a debit card to cover expenses for the kids, but claims receipts show she was in the bar 3 straight days.

He says he and his wife, Isabel Adrian, filed a report with Stockholm PD, and immediately fired Gordon.

TMZ broke the story ... the nanny sued the couple, saying they'd lied about work hours and conditions and never paid her overtime. We told her about Steve's drinking allegation, and she tells a slightly different story.

Gordon says she was having lunch in a restaurant, not a bar, with the girls and ordered one beer with her meal. She says Steve's mother did see her, but had no issue leaving the toddlers with her.

As she puts it, "I'm not a little petite thing. Half a beer doesn't constitute drinking on the job."

Floyd Mayweather was gonna make $35,000 for 90 minutes of work at a Vegas nightclub ... but blew it off because he didn't feel like leaving Europe ... this according to a new lawsuit.

Mayweather's being sued by the SLS Hotel in Vegas -- which says they had a deal with Mayweather to host his 39th birthday party at their Foxtail Nightclub on February 20.

All Floyd had to do was show up ... host the party and do the red carpet -- and bam, easy $35,000.

The SLS says he even got half the money in advance.

Problem is ... Floyd allegedly bailed at the last minute so he could "stay in Europe for his birthday."

Obviously, the club was pissed ... and demanded the advance back, which Floyd has allegedly refused to fork over.

The SLS is suing for the money back -- plus additional damages.

One of the guys from Swedish House Mafia tricked a nanny into moving to Sweden and treated her like "human chattel" before firing her ... if you buy the nanny's account in a lawsuit.

SHM founding member Steve Angello and his wife, Isabel Adrian, hired the nanny for $50k/year and convinced her to leave L.A. and relocate to Sweden with the family ... according to docs.

The nanny says she was promised her schedule and workload caring for the couple's 2 daughters would remain the same, but things were very different in the land of Ikea. In the suit, she describes putting in 24 hour days the first 3 weeks, and living in a single hotel room with the kids.

According to the suit ... the nanny spoke up for herself after a month, and was promptly fired for complaining. She's suing the couple for lying about job duties, failing to pay overtime and wrongful termination.

Jerry Heller's nephew wants a judge to let him create and run an estate for his late uncle ... purely for the purpose of taking down Ice Cube and Dr. Dre in court.

Lawyers for Terry Heller filed docs Tuesday asking he be named executor of Jerry's will -- all because he plans to pursue the defamation suit against everyone behind "Straight Outta Compton."

Sources close to Terry tell TMZ ... all of Jerry's assets were already put into a private trust before his death, and the only reason he's doing this is to change the name of the plaintiff from Jerry to Jerry's estate ... 'cause dead guys can't sue.

You'll recall ... Jerry sued Dre, Cube and other producers of 'Compton' for $110 mil last year, claiming the film falsely made him look like "the bad guy." A judge has tossed most of the case since then, but there's still 2 questionable scenes on the table.

DeAndre Jordan was a very happy man on Friday after being awarded joint custody of his 1-year-old son ... the latest in a custody war with his baby mama.

Apollo Nida refuses to accept his divorce from Phaedra Parks is a done deal, and his reason -- spelling counts.

Apollo points out his ex's legal name is Phaedra Parks Nida, but in her divorce docs it's spelled "Nita" -- ditto for the spelling of his name in those docs.

He's now filed a motion to vacate her divorce, but not only due to the typos. In the motion, obtained by TMZ, Apollo says the 'RHOA' star took advantage of the fact he's in prison. He says there was a final hearing in July, but he was never notified of it ... and therefore, the divorce should be thrown out.

TMZ broke the story ... Phaedra's unsealed docs appear to back her claim she's been single since July, but if a judge buys Apollo's side of the story ... they could be back to square one.

Adrien Broner just learned the hard way ... if you're going to record a threesome on your phone -- DON'T LET IT GO PUBLIC!!!

A Nevada court just ordered the boxer to fork over $175,000 (plus other fees) to one of his co-stars from a 2013 romp after the footage mysteriously surfaced on World Star Hip Hop.

Broner had argued that he didn't intentionally leak the video (which was shot with the consent of his 2 partners) ... but he had lost the phone he shot it on and someone else posted it.

So, why didn't Broner have a password on his phone?

The boxer testified that he has 3 phones on him at all times -- a business phone, a family phone and a "ho phone" (his actual words).

Broner says he simply never bothered to password protect the ho phone -- so anyone could've had access to his x-rated library.

The jury bought Broner's story and found that he did not act intentionally ... just negligently ... and ordered him to fork over the $40k in lost wages and $135k for pain and suffering.
