With Dallas Cowboys player Randy Gregory getting crushed by haters in the wake of his 1 year suspension for a drug test violation ... his girlfriend is coming out swinging in his defense.

The woman in Gregory's life is Nancy -- the mother of the his 3-month-old daughter -- who clearly doesn't believe the 24-year-old is the screwup people are making him out to be.

"You're not perfect and you have your flaws but you don't deserve half of the things people say about you," Nancy posted to Randy on social media.

"You're the father of my child and I will not let the media and fans tear you down."

"You don't deserve the hate you receive. You're an amazing human being and I know you have it in you to be an elite athlete you strive to be on a daily basis."

Emma Roberts put some weight on her left ring finger ... with a diamond piece that has all the markings of engagement ring #2 from Evan Peters.

Emma was out in Bev Hills Wednesday sporting what looks like a diamond and onyx ring. Interesting timing on the new bling ... considering she and longtime on/off bf Evan are just a few months into their latest reunion.

As we told you, the couple was spotted back in November doing some major PDA after they'd broken off engagement #1 earlier in 2016. They've had a rocky road at times -- a domestic violence incident in 2013, but maybe the kids have worked it out. Again.

Ronda Rousey is still off the grid following her crushing loss at UFC 207 ... but her MMA star boyfriend has finally emerged.

Travis Browne was spotted out at an L.A. park --- looking pretty relaxed while sitting on a park bench.

Seems he's finally cooled off ... because 1 day after Rousey lost, Browne attacked MMA fighter Michael "Venom" Page on Twitter for mocking Ronda after her loss.

Page had posted a video for a dance he made up called the "Rousey" -- in which he pretends to get punched in the face.

Travis didn't like it and challenged him to a fight.

Page didn't respond -- but Amanda Nunes did. She thought it was "funny."

Preggo Jenelle Evans and her current baby daddy, David Eason, headed to a custody hearing Wednesday in North Carolina over her 2-year-old son with ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith.

Anthony Anderson is going the way of Patrick Dempsey, because his wife has just dismissed her divorce action.

TMZ obtained legal docs filed by Alvina Anderson. They're short and sweet ... the divorce case is now history.

Alvina filed to end their 20-year marriage back in September 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time she listed the date of separation as April 1, 2014.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt's return to the "Celebrity Big Brother" UK house didn't come cheap ... the show dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars for the couple to come in and cause trouble.

Speidi will make $700k to compete this season -- quite a bit more than the normal $250k cap.

As for why the show is opening its corporate wallet ... interest has faded in the past couple of years. Aubrey O'Day, Jonathan Cheban and David Gest didn't deliver the ratings, so producers needed to goose things.

Heidi and Spencer were universally hated by the cast on 'Celeb Big Brother' in 2013, but managed to finish as runners-up. Producers are hoping they'll stir up all sorts of drama this time around as well along with Ray and Khloe K's BFF, Malika.

It's smellin' like a breakup between Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj.

Both Nicki and Meek performed separately in Miami for New Year's Eve, and they also partied separately afterward. Nicki performed at E11even nightclub and then stayed to party. Meek performed at Dream Nightclub 2 miles from E11even and stayed there.

Nicki showed up at E11even at 11:30 PM, but Meek didn't show up at Dream until 2:40 AM, which would have given him plenty of time to ring in 2017 with Nicki.

Meek was also partying in New York on December 30 ... with Nicki nowhere in sight. On January 1st, Meek went to LIV nightclub in Miami and she wasn't there.

We're told they weren't together on Christmas Day as well.

Don McLean says don't let big diamonds fool you ... he's not engaged to a smokin' hot, much younger babe ... hmmmm.

Paris Dylan is NOT his fiancee ... so says Don's rep, who adds the relationship is strictly professional.

Paris does Don's social media. You'll recall his wife filed for divorce earlier this year.

So this is interesting ... JLo changed her mind about the whole "stay at home for the holidays" thing and headed off to Vegas to watch Drake perform.

JLo's sources told us a few weeks ago she was cancelling her lucrative appearance in Miami for NYE because she got a new home last year, and was working so much she had no time to enjoy it. What better time, she said, than the holidays where she could relax with family.

So why Vegas, and why Drake? People in their camp say something's going on, but we're still skeptical because they have new tunes together.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished first in 2016 by getting married to his longtime girlfriend before the clock struck 12 on NYE.

NASCAR's golden boy tied the knot Saturday night to Amy Reimann, who he got engaged to last June. The ceremony went down at Childress Vineyards in North Carolina, and Dale looks like he couldn't have been happier to ring in 2017 with a pair of wedding bands.

A big chunk of the NASCAR community was there too -- from Chocolate Myers and Danica Patrick to Bubba Wallace -- to wave in their star driver toward the finish line. Congrats!

Nothing like a little health scare to bring people back together.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian appeared to have mended fences and were back together to celebrate the end of 2016.

As you know, she moved out along with the baby, and then Rob started eating like crazy ... triggering his diabetes. He went to the hospital, she followed and now they're re-united.

Serena Williams just got engaged to a guy who co-founded Reddit, and then announced it on his platform.

Serena took to Reddit Thursday morning to break the news to the whole world in the form of a poem ... she'll soon be the wife of 33-year-old Alexis Ohanian.

The tennis star detailed her story in a Reddit post, saying Alexis popped the question with a surprise trip to Rome -- where they apparently first met. She said he took her to the exact same table where they first talked ... and got on one knee.
