Sources: Jackson Kids Tried Stunning Blanket

Published | Updated

Multiple sources are telling TMZ the stun gun that Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son purchased was actually used by the children in the house ... and Michael Jackson's son, Blanket was an intended target.

As we first reported, Jermaine's 13-year-old son Jaafar ordered the stun gun online. Randy Jackson told TMZ the gun was confiscated by security when it was delivered three weeks ago and locked up by Katherine Jackson. But we've learned and confirmed ... children at the Jackson home were playing with the gun last week.

Our sources say the kids were using the gun on the second floor of the house. Security guards on the property were perplexed because they couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from ... nor could they identify the sound.

Late last week, we're told one of the security guards went upstairs and "stopped Jermaine's kids from stunning Blanket." The guard confiscated the gun.

As we first reported, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services went to the Jackson family home in Encino last night, at around 10:30. The two social workers interviewed Katherine and several of the kids and confiscated Jaafar's stun gun.

But our sources say the kids have a second stun gun that DCFS did not recover and it is somewhere on the property.

DCFS is going back to the house today for further investigation. Our sources say DCFS considers this "a very serious situation."

Hotheaded model Naomi Campbell allegedly went nuclear on her driver today in New York City and beat the mess out of him while he was behind the wheel ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Sources say Naomi's driver called 911 at around 3 PM ET, claiming the model was assaulting him from the backseat as they were driving through Manhattan.

We're told Naomi took off after the guy made the call -- and he was later treated at the police station for bumps, bruises and neck pain.

Our sources say cops haven't reached Naomi yet about the alleged incident ... but we're told her assistant may be down at the precinct right now.

UPDATE 9:41 PM ET: Our sources say the driver has filed a harassment complaint, but we're told Naomi won't be charged. That's because cops did not witness the alleged incident.

UPDATE 8:15 PM ET: Police say the driver is considering dropping the charges and pursuing the matter in civil court.

UPDATE 6:20 PM ET: Naomi's rep tells TMZ, "There shouldn't be a rush to judgment. Naomi will co-operate voluntarily, and there is more to the story than meets the eye."

Court Fire Saves Lil Wayne from Sentencing

Published | Updated

Lil Wayne won't be going to jail today after all -- his hearing was just postponed due to a fire in the courthouse where he was scheduled to be sentenced.

We're told the fire occurred in the basement of the Manhattan Criminal Court building at 10:29 AM ET sending smoke throughout the building and causing a complete evacuation.

The fire was under control by 11:55 AM ET -- but the damage was done ... because Lil Wayne's attorney says the courthouse has now been shut down for the rest of the day.

Wayne -- who pled guilty to attempted weapons possession last year -- was supposed to be sentenced last month ... but the rapper was able to delay the hearing until today so he could have dental surgery on his grill.

Wayne's attorney tells TMZ the rapper has no idea his sentencing has been postponed, because he's on a plane right now.

UPDATE 2:12 PM ET: A court official tells TMZ Wayne will be sentenced tomorrow ... unless the hand of God comes down and saves him yet again.

Smithsonian to OJ: Thanks, But No Thanks

Published | Updated

UPDATE 2:16 PM ET: The Smithsonian has officially rejected O.J.'s suit.

It was generous of noted killer OJ Simpson to donate his "acquittal suit" to the Smithsonian Institution, but an official there told TMZ, "It is highly unlikely we will accept it."

A judge yesterday green lit the move to donate the suit Simpson was wearing when the misguided jury found him not guilty of murdering Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

An official from the Smithsonian ... who did not want to be ID'd ... told TMZ this AM before accepting anything the item would go to museum curators for review. The curator then sends the item to one of the various museums -- e.g., the National Museum of American History. A review is then conducted.

The official said no one has offered the suit to the Institution yet, but the official does not believe OJ Simpson's acquittal suit will pass muster.

FYI ... We're told there is no "Crime Section." Oh, and one more thing. The Smithsonian passed on Monica Lewinsky's famous blue
dress.

Howard Stern: Leno Makes Me Wanna Puke

Published | Updated

Howard Stern unleashed the fury all over Jay Leno this morning, brutally tearing into the "Tonight Show" host on a segment for the "CBS Early Show."

One day after Leno returned to late night, CBS asked Stern for his thoughts, which went like this: "The mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me wanna vomit. I don't like this guy."

Stern, who has a long gestating hatred of the talk show host, also referred to Leno as a "lap dog" and a "thief" ... once again accusing Jay of stealing material from himself, Letterman and even people in England.

Long story short -- don't expect Stern on "The Tonight Show" anytime soon.

Kate Gosselin - 'Dancing in the Basement'

Published | Updated

Kate Gosselin will practice her dance moves for "Dancing with the Stars" one flight below her brood -- in the basement.

Kate says she'll be practicing her moves in a newly-converted dance studio in the basement of her home -- so she can be close to her kids. And a source tells us "Dancing with the Stars" is footing the bill for the makeshift studio.

Kate's dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, will go to Kate's home for practice.

Kate, we're told, will only be in L.A. two days a week, for the taping. When she's in La La Land, her kids will stay in PA with a nanny.

Our source says Kate told the "Dancing" folks, she's doing the show "because she's a single mom trying to make money."

President Obama's Image High-Jacked for Pot Ad

Published | Updated

President Barack Obama is now the poster child for an upcoming pot party celebrating his first year in office. Only problem: No one asked his high-ness for permission before Photoshopping a fake joint in his mouth.

The ganja gala is set to go down this weekend in L.A. -- and according to the ad, marijuana patients are going to "celebrate Obama ending DEA raids" on weed stores.

A rep for the White House told TMZ there's a longstanding policy "disapproving of the use of the President's name and likeness for commercial purposes" -- but the rep wouldn't say if the Photoshoppin' potheads were going to face legal action over the ad.

Either way ... we're guessing the wave of paranoia that's about to engulf the tokers responsible for messing with the Most Powerful Man on the Planet will be punishment enough.

'Price Is Right' Suit - They Called Me 'Wide Load'

Published | Updated

A former "Price Is Right" model claims the show was so cruel about staffers becoming pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage from stress and abuse.

Brandi Cochran claims she became pregnant in 2007 but didn't tell anyone because she was afraid of getting fired. Brandi claims the stress was so severe, "that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage."

Brandi claims when she told a producer about the miscarriage, the producer told her, "It's natures way of getting rid of a bad baby."

In late 2008, Cochran became pregnant again. She claims, in the lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, a producer put his hands on his head when he learned she was having twins.

In the docs, Brandi claims when she walked past a producer he said, "Wide load coming through."

Brandi says she had complications from the pregnancy and went on disability. She claims she was eventually squeezed out of her job on February 23.

Brandi was a prize model during Bob Barker's reign as well as Drew Carey's.

CBS had no comment on the lawsuit.

Cover-Up in Michael Jackson Death?

Published | Updated

Michael Jackson received the fatal dose of Propofol through an IV in his leg, and law enforcement believes Dr. Conrad Murray may have tried covering it up ... this according to law enforcement sources and an anesthesiologist who reviewed the case.

Dr. Murray told cops he administered only a very small amount of Propofol -- 2.5ml shortly before Jackson died. But Dr. John Dombrowski, a noted anesthesiologist and member of the board of the American Society of Anesthesiologists who reviewed the file, tells TMZ that 2.5ml couldn't put Jackson to sleep, much less kill him. Indeed, the Coroner's report notes the level of Propofol found in Jackson's body was equivalent to that found during "general anesthesia for major surgery."

A small, empty, 20ml bottle of Propofol was found in the bedroom, but there was a secret compartment in a nearby closet that could be the key to the prosecution's case. Several days after Jackson's death, law enforcement found numerous bottles of Propofol in that closet, including a large, empty, 100ml bottle with a large tear in the rubber stopper.

Charlie Sheen's Ex: He Pushed, Threatened to Kill

Published | Updated

The D.A. in Aspen may call Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards, to testify about an alleged incident that is eerily similar to the allegations of his current wife, Brooke Mueller.

We're told the Pitkin County D.A. has had law enforcement in L.A. County contact Richard's agent and lawyer, about Denise possibly testifying in Charlie Sheen's criminal case in Aspen. Specifically, sources tell us the D.A. is interested in a declaration Denise signed under penalty of perjury in 2005, when she got a restraining order against the "Two and a Half Men" star.

Richards claimed on December 30, 2005, in the middle of an argument, she was holding their daughter Lola, when Charlie "pushed me, shoving me with his two hands between my shoulders. I was forced backwards and tripped over one of the children's toys and fell on the floor with Lola."

According to the declaration, Charlie then pointed his finger at her and screamed, "I hope you f--king die, bitch." Richards says as Charlie was walking out the front door he said "he was going to have me killed. He said you are f--king with the wrong guy."

Charlie Sheen denied the allegations at the time.

We're told Richards will cooperate, but only if she's forced to do so by subpoena.

Jon Cryer Alleged Hit - Mexico Gang Connection?

Published | Updated

The man allegedly at the center of the Jon Cryer murder plot is a contractor who was part of a drug smuggling ring in Mexico .... this according to the estranged husband of Jon Cryer's ex-wife.

TMZ has obtained legal documents in the ongoing divorce case between Cryer's ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, and her estranged husband, David Dickey. As we first reported, a man named Eddie Sanchez was allegedly asked by Trigger to murder Cryer and Dickey. In fact, Dickey says Sanchez flatly told him that.

So who is Eddie Sanchez? We know he was Trigger's boyfriend at the time she allegedly asked him to kill Cryer and Dickey. According to Dickey, Sanchez was a contractor who worked on his house when he lived with Trigger. Dickey also says in legal docs, Trigger told him, "Eddie used to run drugs that were smuggled from the border to Mexican gangs which is how he bought his house in Mexico."

As we first reported, Trigger allegedly "...asked Mr. Sanchez if he would kill the pair [Cryer and Dickey], or if he would not, inquiring whether she could speak with Mr. Sanchez's father about this issue."

Trigger's lawyer claims Sanchez left a voicemail for Trigger's mom last month, in which he said Sarah had done nothing wrong.
