According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug-related, not alcohol) and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.

Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine.

She was arrested and released on her own recognizance.

UPDATE: Paris' boyfriend, Cy Waits, was arrested as well. He was booked on a charge of DUI.

We're told Lindsay's agent at CAA gave her the script for the yet-to-be filmed remake before she checked into jail and LiLo "really wants it."

But this might be a case of "if wishing made it so" -- a honcho at Imagine Entertainment, the company behind the movie, tells TMZ there is "no truth to this."

We're told the same people who helped steer Lindsay's life into a downward spiral smell new opportunities to take advantage ... and are desperately trying to "snake their way back into her life."

According to sources, "They have been calling Lindsay non-stop ... and she's been talking to them." One source adds, "It's scary ... they could take her off the right path."

TMZ has learned 13-year-old Prince and 12-year-old Paris started at The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday.

Family sources tell TMZ ... Prince wanted to go to Buckley to have "a social experience." Initially, Paris was reluctant but changed her mind in a big way.

As for 8-year-old Blanket -- he's still going to be homeschooled. Katherine Jackson feels he's too young to venture out.

Among the alums -- Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Nicole Richie, Nicollette Sheridan and Laura Dern.

Octomom's legal eagle, Jeff Czech, tells TMZ, "Nadya is in top physical shape. She has been working out for months. She has had a strong interest in dance and 'Dancing with the Stars' is one of the few shows that she takes time to watch."

Czech adds, "She'd love to do it."

Our spies at "Dancing" tell us Nadya is not on their short list. We're thinkin' she should be ... because at the very least she's got a built-in audience at home.

As we previously reported, cops arrested 31-year-old Nathan Parada on Tuesday morning after Paris claimed the dude was packing knives -- and trying to get into her home.

Actor David Yost -- who played the B.R. from 1993 to 1996 -- just gave an interview to "No Pink Spandex" -- and explained, "I was called 'f*ggot' one too many times [by the show's] creators, producers, writers, directors."

Yost added, "I know that my co-stars were called in a couple of times to different producers' offices and questioned about my sexuality, which is kind of a humiliating experience to find that out."

Yost claims it got so bad on the show that he became "worried that I might take my own life."

Instead, Yost took a break from Hollywood ... and only recently decided to start acting again.

But Lindsay wasn't hitting the club scene -- we're told she rolled over to the Venice area to pick up a friend ... and then went right back to her Hollywood home.

As one law enforcement source said ... the second round of questions shows how seriously the Department is taking the investigation of Oksana Grigorieva and Mel's claim that she tried extorting him for millions in connection with the incendiary tapes.

We're told Mel has cooperated with investigators and will continue to cooperate by sitting for another interview. Our law enforcement sources say ... investigators informed Mel's lawyer they won't ask questions about the domestic violence case.

We're told Spencer -- who's currently hocking sex tapes starring himself, Heidi and a Playmate -- still "loves" his estranged wife ... and is willing to do whatever it takes to stop the divorce.

In fact, we're told Spencer has finally admitted to having a "fame addiction" ... and wants to seek help for that too.

As for Heidi -- we're told she's down to work things out ... despite all of the public drama he's put her through recently.

We're told the D.A. got the case at around 3:50 PM PT. The Sheriff's Department turned over the investigative file to the D.A., although prosecutors have been working closely with Sheriff's investigators.

The D.A. has not received the file on the Oksana Grigorieva extortion investigation. The Sheriff's Department still has work to do on that case.

We're told the D.A. will make simultaneous decisions on whether to prosecute Mel and Oksana.

The picture was taken this morning at 8:35 AM at a parking garage in Beverly Hills, as Lindsay climbed out of the back of a decoy van, holding a Rockstar energy drink.

Lindsay -- who, we might add looks good -- got out of UCLA rehab yesterday.

Tiger faced cameras and reporters today for the first time since his divorce was finalized two days ago.

During this morning's court hearing ... Judge Fox imposed the following ground rules for Lindsay's probation:

-- Reside at home until Nov. 1
-- Random drug and alcohol testing twice a week
-- Participate in psychotherapy a minimum of 4 days a week
-- Attend behavior therapy sessions 2 times a week
-- Attend a 12-step program

The judge said if Lindsay flunks her drug and alcohol tests, she'll go to jail for 30 days -- and she cannot leave the state of California without court approval.

Additionally, two counts of being under the influence of cocaine were dismissed.

Outside of court Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, said that Lindsay is "looking forward to beginning anew, and having a productive life and schedule."

According to the new documents, Dr. Murray and representatives from AEG went to Michael Jackson's home on N. Carolwood Drive on June 18, 2009 -- and said they were there for a "drug intervention."

The suit claims during the meeting AEG demanded Michael "stop seeing Dr. Arnold Klein and stop taking the drugs Klein gave to him." They wanted Michael to "take only the medications being given to him by Conrad Murray."

According to the suit ... the intervention was intended to get Michael to adhere to Dr. Murray's drug regimen so he could get more sleep. AEG thought Michael was missing rehearsals because of medications from Dr. Klein and other doctors.

The suit also alleges that in the days leading up to Michael's death it was apparent he was getting weaker and weaker, at times seeming "drugged and disoriented."
