With Josh Hamilton out of the picture, 'Real Housewives' just picked up ANOTHER former Angels star ... World Series champion Jim Edmonds ... who just signed on to the show with his wife.

Jim -- a 4-time All Star and 8-time Gold Glove winner -- will appear on the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" with his wife, Meghan.

We're told Jim and Meghan will be "full time" cast members.

And get this ... we're told Hamilton, who was just recently shipped back to Texas, will appear on the show with his estranged wife ... but in a "friend of the cast" capacity.

Girls night out isn't for BF's ... unless you're Russell Wilson ... 'cause TMZ Sports has learned the Seahawks QB surprised Ciara at a fancy steakhouse ... and she could not have been happier.

Ciara and two girlfriends were having dinner Saturday night at The Palm -- one of D.C.'s best restaurants -- drinking wine and eating crab ... when Wilson unexpectedly arrived during dinner.

The restaurant G.M. Mike Melore tells us ... "Ciara was shocked to see him. She said she didn't know he was coming, but she was super happy he was there."

And, when you're rich and famous ... you can stay as late as you want.

"We normally close around 10:30, but we stayed open late for them, until 1:30 AM," Melore says.

"They were extremely nice and humble. They took pictures with every staff member that asked before they left."

1:05 PM PT -- The other person involved is Matthew Apperson -- and he is the same man Zimmerman had a road rage incident with last September. Police also say Zimmerman did NOT fire any shots, and Apperson called police to report the incident.

As for what sparked today's incident -- police say they're still waiting to get more info from Apperson and Zimmerman.

12:50 PM PT -- Lake Mary PD is holding a news conference where we're expecting more details about the shooting.

George Zimmerman was involved in a shooting with another man, and Zimmerman's lawyer tells TMZ ... his client and the other guy may not be strangers.

The shooting went down Monday afternoon on a road in Lake Mary, FL ... where Zimmerman lives. Police tell us they got a call for a road rage incident. News footage from the scene shows a bullet hole in the front passenger side window of Zimmerman's truck.

Zimmerman's lawyer, Don West, tells TMZ Zimmerman told him he believes he recognized the other driver as someone with whom he had a run in several months ago.

The lawyer says Zimmerman told him the other driver drove along side his client and fired into the driver's side window.

The lawyer says Zimmerman was not struck by a bullet, but rather shattering glass.

We do not know the race of the other man involved in the shooting.

The mother of a 7-year-old boy managed to score the kid a sick birthday gift ... courtesy of The Game.

Darkima Johnson tells TMZ she was with her son Jaden last Thursday to celebrate his 7th birthday at the Lenox Mall in Atlanta. Darkima says she spotted Game out front and asked for a photo ... and explained it was her son's b-day.

That's when Game decided to count out seven $100 bills and hand them over to Jaden ... despite the fact Jaden had no clue who Game was.

Jaden's mom tells TMZ she's planning on getting him a four-wheeler with the money.

James Kirkland was simply not prepared to step in the ring with a fighter like Canelo Alvarez ... so says his legendary ex-trainer Ann Wolfe who tells TMZ Sports he took the fight way too soon.

Kirkland was KNOCKED THE HELL OUT in the 3rd round of his fight with Alvarez this weekend ... after parting ways with Wolfe (his longtime trainer) earlier this year.

Wolfe tells us ... Kirkland's first mistake was taking such a HUGE fight after a taking nearly a 17 MONTH hiatus from pro bouts.

"He would have needed to have at least 3 'warm up fights' before stepping in the ring with Alvarez."

Wolfe says she has NO BAD BLOOD toward Kirkland ... and although they didn't speak after the fight, she called James' mother afterward to make sure he was OK.

Pat Houston is now sharing the controls with Bobby Brown on what to do with Bobbi Kristina ... and it appears a rift may be brewing, because a Houston family member strongly indicates she does not want to use heroic measure to save Bobbi.

As TMZ reported ... a judge made Bobby and Pat co-guardians a few days ago, which gives them joint responsibility for Bobbi Kristina's care. As we first reported, Bobbi Kristina is suffering from irreversible brain damage and the prospects of getting better are slim to none, barring a miracle.

Pat says she and Bobby are working as a family to make the right decisions, but there seems to be a clear division. Cissy told "Entertainment Tonight," "She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her ... I have nothing to do with that. That's His job."

Bobby, on the other hand, has made it clear he will do whatever it takes to keep his daughter alive, including using heroic measures if she begins to slip away. Some member of the Houston family have strongly indicated they are not inclined to use such measures.

If Bobbi Kristina's condition begins to deteriorate and if Pat and Bobby can't reach an agreement, it will probably be left in the hands of a judge to decide the fate of Whitney Houston's daughter.

The 2 families have been largely at odds since Bobbi Kristina entered the hospital.

The Game and Young Thug put an end to their beef before anyone got shot ... and the truce was put together by a mutual friend ... with some major street cred.

Rapper JoJo Capone tells TMZ he brokered peace between Game and Thug late Wednesday ... after they'd traded some serious threats. Capone tells TMZ ... Game reached out to him after seeing a photo online of Capone and Thug together. He says Game didn't realize Capone was down with Thug ... and that opened the door to a summit.

Capone says he got Game and Thug on the phone and explained ... they both needed to get back to making music, and not threats. Capone says he told them they needed to look at the big picture and call off the dogs before someone got hurt.

They got the message. Shortly after the call, Game confirmed the war is over.

Former LSU football star La'el Collins will get a $21,000 signing bonus ... after signing a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told he's set to make $435k in his 1st year, $545k his second year and $656k in year 3.

Our sources tell us ... when all is said and done, Collins will get the same dollar amount as the 7th pick of the 2nd round of the NFL Draft.

Of course, La'el's draft stock plummeted after he was questioned by police in the shooting death of a pregnant woman. Before the incident, he was projected to be a 1st round draft pick.

Nice day for a white welcome -- Adam Levine just got blasted with powdered sugar on his way into Jimmy Kimmel's Hollywood studio.

The Maroon 5 frontman was actually taking time to greet fans when the sugar bomber attacked -- seemingly landing a head shot on Adam with some sweet sweet powder ... and leaving one side of his face completely white. He did NOT look happy. (Check out this new angle of the attack)

Unclear if the attacker was protesting on behalf of any particular group -- or just some idiot prankster -- but he was quickly detained by security until police arrived and arrested him for battery. Adam continued into the studio for his scheduled appearance.

No word on what he and the band will play, but our best guess -- "Sugar."

Threats are already flying between Young Thug and The Game -- but bullets could be next because Thug is REFUSING to change his upcoming plans to visit Game's turf.

The rappers have been blasting each other verbally since last night when Game got on the mic at a New Orleans club ... and warned Young Thug to squash his beef with Lil Wayne, or the Piru Bloods would get involved. He also dared Thug to come to L.A.

It got worse when Thug posted a video response -- complete with a friend brandishing an automatic weapon.

Sources close to YT say he'll be in L.A. soon (they wouldn't be more specific) for some studio time, and he has no plans to change that after Game's threats. Ditto for a summer concert scheduled for the L.A. area. We're told Thug doesn't plan to do anything differently. In short, he ain't scurred.

We've reached out to Game -- no word back yet, but his threats are getting more detailed.

They're also looking for at least $5 million.

Manny Pacquiao and his fight promoters have been hit with a class action lawsuit by people who claim he screwed fans, Pay-per-view buyers and gamblers out of serious money by not disclosing his shoulder injury before the Mayweather fight.

TMZ Sports has obtained the lawsuit filed in federal court in Nevada ... in which Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran are suing on behalf of a class that feel cheated.

In the suit, Vanel and Rahbaran claim they are fighting "on behalf of all persons who purchased tickets; purchased the pay-per-view event; or who wagered money on the event."

The plaintiffs are suing Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank Boxing and others for consumer fraud -- and they're demanding at least $5 MILLION in damages.

Miley Cyrus is reconnecting with her Tennessee roots ... she just bought a $5 million ranch in the outskirts of L.A. County.

Miley is now the proud owner of a 5 1/2 acre estate in super exclusive Hidden Hills, complete with a riding arena, a 10 stall barn, a chicken coop and a vineyard with 550 grape vines.

The ranch-style home is 6500 square feet and tucked safely inside a gated community. We're told Miley was looking for security after 3 break-ins at her Toluca Lake home in just a little more than a year.

Chad L. Coleman -- an actor who famously played Tyreese on "The Walking Dead" and Cutty on "The Wire" had a complete meltdown Friday on a New York City subway train.

Coleman is screaming, making sure everyone knows he's Chad L. Coleman from "The Walking Dead" and "The Wire." His rant is nonsensical and ear-shattering loud.

You see passengers recoil and eventually the seats around him are empty.

We spoke with Coleman, who told us he heard a guy and a girl on the train talking, trying to figure out where they knew him. He says the guy told the girl, "No, we don't know that n*****," and that set him off.

As for the screams about humanity, he says he was referencing the problems in Baltimore.

Rapper Lil B is furious $10,000 went missing from his hotel room -- and he's pointing the finger at the hotel staff ... after management gave him the boot for hotboxing the place.

Lil B tells TMZ he was staying at the Oakland Airport's Red Lion on Tuesday when the hotel kicked him out because guests were complaining about marijuana smoke coming out of his room.

The rapper claims hotel management told him security had entered his room while he was gone ... found a small bag of pot, and then asked him to leave.

When Lil B went back to his room to collect his things, he says he noticed $10,000 cash was missing. He went to the front desk to file a theft report, but claims the employee ignored him. He recorded that awkward encounter and posted it online. He also blasted the hotel staff on Twitter.

Since the hotel wasn't helping ... B says he went to Oakland PD to file a report. Cops tell us they are "still in the process of verifying if this incident occurred."

You'd think Nick Cannon would be preparing for war against Mariah Carey after releasing her song, "Infinity," which seems to put him in her crosshairs, but she says it's not ... and he's buying it.

According to our sources, the song is about women in general and how some "lose themselves in their man." We're told Mariah says it is "not specifically about her relationship with Nick."

As for the lyric that seems to say Nick doesn't have his own money, we're told Mariah was singing about men with no ambition to be successful ... doesn't seem to fit Nick.

Clearly there's no hate on Nick's side ... because he posted a photo pimping her new album.
