As we first reported, Brooke Mueller is in the ICU in an L.A. hospital with a nasty infection. Charlie visited the hospital today, but because there is a protective order in place he is not allowed to communicate with his wife.

In the legal papers, Charlie's lawyer, Richard Cummins, wrote that Charlie "is concerned and feels the necessity to assist and care for his wife."

Cummins is asking for a modification of the protective order, to allow Charlie to communicate with Brooke while she's hospitalized.

The judge has not yet ruled on the request.

TMZ has learned Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's wife, is going to be ok and she still plans to make the trip to Aspen for the hearing on Friday.

Mueller's lawyer, Yale Galanter, tells TMZ the infection that put her in the hospital today is under control -- an infection she got as a result of oral surgery earlier in the week.

Galanter says Brooke -- who was admitted to the ICU with a fever of 105 -- was pumped full of antibiotics and she should be released today.

Galanter says the goal is for Brooke to make it to the hearing on Friday -- a hearing to modify the protective order that prohibits Charlie from having any contact with Brooke. Galanter says he's not sure if Brooke will be in any condition to travel and it's possible he'll ask the judge to allow her to testify by telephone.

We're also told a motion should be filed shortly in Aspen to allow Charlie to have contact with Brooke, while she's in the hospital.

Charlie went to the hospital a short time ago .. under the protective order he's allowed to be in the same room with wife Brooke Mueller, but technically he can't communicate with her.

The hang-up with the Conan O'Brien/NBC severance deal is over the provision prohibiting Conan from trashing NBC ... but we're told by sources on both sides ... a settlement should be reached today.

Our sources say lawyers for both sides are squabbling over how long Conan is prohibited from saying bad things about NBC.

And, we're told, Conan is griping about the amount of severance NBC is paying his staff. Wait'll you hear this...

As we first reported, Conan will get $32.5 million for his troubles. We reported that the rest of the staff will get around $7.5 million. But we now know someone was not included in the $7.5 million figure.

Sources say the Executive Producer of "The Tonight Show" -- Jeff Ross -- will pull in $4.5 million in severance. So the total for staff -- including Ross -- is $12 million.

We're told Conan's lawyers want $600,000 added to the staff's severance pot but NBC is balking. Network sources say it's such a small amount that Conan is really just posturing to make himself look good.

One more thing. The way NBC is viewing the whole thing ... the network believes it can make $40 million in profits off of Leno the first year he's back and that they would lose $5 mil on Conan if he stayed. So NBC views the whole Conan buyout as a net savings.

As we first reported, Michael claimed he tried to stop Erin from driving on November 14 because she was too "drunk and high" -- that's when she allegedly kicked him in the head.

A judge in New York's Nassau County Court dismissed the criminal case against Erin this AM. Michael's restraining order against Erin was unaffected by the ruling.

Erin recently filed papers claiming she's the real victim -- accusing Michael of abusing her over a dozen times between 2007 and 2008 ... including a kick to her lady region. Michael has denied her allegations.

The MTV reality star accused of brutally attacking his one-year-old daughter claims he's not the "monster" he appears to be -- and insists he never once laid a hand on his child.

TMZ spoke with Markice "Kesan" Moore -- who's currently wanted by Georgia police -- and the former "From G's to Gents" star claims he plans on turning himself in to authorities some time this afternoon.

Moore claims the only thing he should be held accountable for is the broken wrist his daughter suffered when she fell out of her bed in July -- while under his care.

As for his daughter's other reported injuries -- 2 broken arms, broken leg, 3 broken ribs, broken collarbone and bruising --- Moore claims the damage was not caused under his watch.

Moore insists he never intended to run from the situation -- he claims he just wanted to "get everything in order" before turning himself in.

Moore claims he's being unfairly judged because he punched someone in the face on the MTV show -- and tells TMZ, "I love my daughter."

As we first reported, Brooke was taken to an L.A. hospital and put in ICU -- we're told she has a fever of 105 and possibly pneumonia. Sources connected with Brooke say the problem is related to oral surgery she had earlier in the week. She is being treated with antibiotics.

Charlie arrived with two friends, including Mark Burg, Executive Producer of "Two and a Half Men." We're told Charlie is living in Burg's guest house, because of the protective order.

The protective order does not say the parties cannot be in the same room. It says they cannot have direct contact or direct communication. Therefore, Charlie could theoretically be in the same hospital room, without speaking to Brooke.

UPDATE: We just obtained court docs, filed earlier this week, that describe Brooke's medical issues. Her lawyer, Yale Galanter, told the court Brooke had a "medical emergency with regard to an oral infection" and needed 72 hours to recover. That's why the hearing on modifying the protective order -- originally set for today -- was moved to Friday. It's unlikely Friday's hearing will take place.

A source connected with Mueller tells TMZ she had a temperature of 105 and could have pneumonia.

Brooke is supposed to be in Aspen court Friday for a hearing in the Charlie Sheen domestic violence case.

It's almost certain the hearing on Friday in Aspen will not take place.

Ironically, Charlie is prohibited from visiting Brooke or even calling her in the hospital.

Court officials tell TMZ Debra Danielson -- the mother of 18-year-old "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham -- was charged this morning in Pottawattamie County court in Iowa ... and is due back in court on February 26 for a preliminary hearing. We're told Debra did not enter a plea today.

According to the Council Bluffs Police Department, Farrah accused Debra of choking her and hitting her on Saturday after a verbal argument erupted between the two over childcare issues and other problems.

When cops arrived at their home, they arrested Debra after observing multiple cuts on the right side of Farrah's lips.

UPDATE: According to Debra's attorney, she's going to plead not guilty.

We're told Charlie is currently living in a friend's guest house in L.A. -- Brooke is with the kids in the family home in L.A. They both want to resume marital life, stat.

Sources tell us Brooke is cooperating with authorities in the domestic violence investigation -- but we're told she would personally prefer that the case be dropped altogether.

Brooke's attitude could be a factor in the prosecutor's decision on whether to pursue the case against Sheen. There were only 2 people in the room during the Christmas Day incident in Aspen, Colorado -- and when the only witness doesn't want to be there, it's often a problem.

Stephen Izzo tells TMZ he was trying to fight MTV security after they broke up his group's expletive-filled tussle with the "Jersey" cast -- when Ronnie came out of nowhere and delivered a haymaker to the back of his head. Izzo says the cuts on his face were caused by his sudden headfirst fall into the unforgiving brick ground below.

Izzo now wants a rematch with Ronnie ... and this time he wants it to be a fair fight.

As we previously reported, Simon has had discussions with Abdul about joining his new show -- the one he's leaving 'Idol' for after this season.

We're not sure how far along they got in their talks.

The limping Weezer front man hopped a plane at LAX that was bound for Florida yesterday -- where he'll play his first concert with the band since the bus accident that left him with the busted lung and a wounded spleen.

According to the band's website, Rivers has been "given a cautionary clean bill of health - so long as he takes it easy and is careful." Translation: No crowd surfing.

The drama unfolded Sunday afternoon. Cops confirm the dog -- which Linda described as a lab/hound mix -- escaped from her WorldHeart Foundation in Los Angeles and ran over to a nearby ranch.

The ranch owners claim they saw the dog put a "death grip" on their miniature potbellied pig named Gerty.

The ranch owners claim they grabbed a gun and fired some warning shots in an attempt to scare the dog -- but the dog didn't loosen its grip. That's when they decided they had to shoot the dog.

According to the ranch owners, they fired off 5 shots before the dog released the pig from its jaws. The dog ultimately died as a result. Gerty the pig suffered puncture wounds -- but is expected to make a full recovery.

Police investigated the situation -- and decided criminal charges will not be filed against the pig's protectors in connection with the shooting.

As we reported back in May, Vegas showman Jeff Beacher accused Criss Angel of cat-napping his favorite feline from the woman who was taking care of it at the time ... Jennifer Lee Madden.

Turns out Jennifer would become the lynchpin of the entire Tiger Woods cheating scandal a few months later, when she and Ashley Samson sold Rachel Uchitel's story to the National Enquirer.

Beacher tells TMZ, "In light of these newest, deeply upsetting developments ... I would ask the press to respect my privacy during this extremely difficult time. I miss my beloved cat Hamlet."

Neither Tiger nor the cat have been seen in months.

The original page was not a fake -- but it turns out, the "tweet" that appeared on the page was definitely a hoax.

After the original "Conan on FOX" page was taken down, another page appeared in it's place with the tweet, "Triumph means so many things to so many people SoSH."

The SoSH can be traced back to a Boston Red Sox fan forum called "Sons of Sam Horn." TMZ contacted one of the site's moderators who told us one of their faithful members, "on his own ... recreated the Conan on FOX Twitter site and referenced SoSH."

The moderator added, "he did not register the domain name or create the first Twitter account."

The alleged incident involves Anna's 5-year-old half brother, Allan, who fell or jumped out of a second story window earlier today.

According to WPTV.com, Allan landed on some rocks and then walked to the sidewalk. Neighbors found him crying, screaming and bleeding.

TMZ has obtained police docs, which say the mother -- Alla Kournikova -- left Allan home alone, with all the doors "locked with a deadbolt." The police affidavit states Alla told cops she had left to run errands for around 50 minutes and Allan -- who was watching TV when she left -- did not want to go with her.

After cops arrived Allan told them he jumped from the window.
