The #1 album isn't the only thing Adele scored this week -- she got a free meal courtesy of her celebrity friends ... TMZ has learned.

As we told you, Adele did dinner with Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone Monday night at Cosme NYC ... a Mexican restaurant in the Flat Iron District, and the big question's been -- "Who paid?"

Our sources tell us when the bill came ... Adele was told her money's no good here -- and Emma, J Law and a 4th non-famous diner split the tab.

As for what they ate -- we're told they went for duck carnitas, blue shrimp a la veracruzana, corn husk meringue, and beets with corn salsa and cheese.

Fancy. And pricey ... the duck alone goes for $59!

APB ... Be on the lookout for a really dreamy crook with washboard abs, lugging a stolen bike and a carton of milk.

Lisa Vanderpump's famous restaurant Villa Blanca in Bev Hills was hit by the above described hunk, who made his way into the basement area and rooted around for valuables.

Jared Fogle's attorneys are making a last ditch effort to minimize his prison sentence by suggesting his famous drop in weight led to his compulsion for sex with minors.

Fogle stoically walked into the courtroom, where his lawyers had a sexual behavior expert testify that Fogle had compulsive eating disorder -- but his Subway weight loss took care of that. The expert added that once he lost the pounds he developed compulsive hypersexuality disorder.

It sounds bizarre, but clearly Fogle's lawyers are trying everything they can to convince the judge he doesn't deserve the maximum sentence of 12 1/2 years ... as laid out in his plea deal.

Fogle formally entered a guilty plea, and testimony is continuing before the judge announces his sentence.

Josh Woodward, a famous L.A. restaurateur who allegedly killed his unborn child, just copped a plea and will do prison time.

Woodward appeared in court Friday and pled no contest to attempted murder.

Woodward, who also owns restaurants in Miami, allegedly put his finger in a drug called Misoprostol, a drug that induces labor and terminates pregnancy.

His baby mama says Josh repeatedly dipped his hand in a plastic bag filled with the drug and then touched her sexually 3 times ... her baby died a few hours later.

Marshawn Lynch might be the BEST MCDONALD'S CUSTOMER EVER ... 'cause he gave $500 to a Mickey D's staffer last week ... because he wanted to help the kid out.

It all went down at McDonald's in Dallas last Sunday after the Seahawks beat the Cowboys -- when Beast Mode walked into the joint and struck up a conversation with 17-year-old Terrance Downs, who was mopping at the time.

"I told him I liked his shoes -- navy blue Buscemis -- and how I wanted to buy a pair and we all started talking," Downs tells TMZ Sports.

Lynch asked him about school and what he wanted to do in life, and Downs told him he's into fashion and wants to own a boutique one day.

That's when Lynch whipped out $500 and handed it over ... telling Downs, "If you're serious about getting those shoes, here's some money to help you get 'em. My job is to continue to see you grow."

A rep for the owner of the McDonald's confirmed the story -- adding, "Marshawn left a huge positive impact on Terrance."

In-N-Out is getting burned by a popular food delivery website, according to a lawsuit the legendary burger chain just filed ... and the case could affect couch-loving food fans everywhere.

The famed home of the Double-Double is trying to stop DoorDash.com from delivering its food. In-N-Out points out the service is using an imitation logo on its website, even though DoorDash was told several times it doesn't have permission.

In the suit, In-N-Out says it's worried about not having control over how long DoorDash takes to deliver or how they handle the food -- particularly important to In-N-Out, which prides itself on never freezing meat.

DoorDash -- which is allegedly worth $600 million -- has angered several restaurants in New York for charging higher prices for menu items ... according to a food blog.

The models walking in the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" already have food on the brain ... and got a look at what they'll feast on when it ends.

Our photog caught up with some of the models backstage Tuesday in NYC before the big show ... and it's just as glorious as you'd think, complete with Behati Prinsloo dancing around in lingerie.

Iron Chef Cat Cora's marriage to wife Jennifer Cora has disintegrated and all signs point to a bitter custody struggle over their 4 kids.

TMZ has obtained the dueling divorce docs ... both women filed on the same day, with Jennifer requesting full physical custody of their kids. Cat is asking for joint physical custody.

The two have been married since 2013 and have four sons together -- 3 of whom Jennifer gave birth to and 1 who was carried by Cat.

Cat's been the breadwinner, which is probably why Jennifer's asking for spousal support.

Cat's had her share of problems, most notably getting busted for DUI in June 2012.

Cat's been a food force for a long time ... she's one of the original American Iron Chefs, and she operates 4 restaurants.

Cat was most recently a guest judge on "Cutthroat Kitchen."

Finally, a voice of reason for meat lovers -- Dr. Oz is NOT pushing the panic button when it comes to bacon and red meat, despite the recent WHO report connecting them to cancer.

Oz says the World Health Org. is actually late to the party because meats have long been considered carcinogens. More importantly, he explained why there's no need to slash processed meats like bacon completely out of your diet.

He does have a warning for BBQ fans though, and some recipe tips for Harvey. Sorry, doc ... our boss doesn't touch the stuff.

Kim Kardashian's less than 2 months from popping, and yet she's looking more like she had a big lunch ... than a woman on the verge of giving birth.

The legend of Vince Young is alive and well in Texas ... 'cause the Austin steakhouse that has his name is THRIVING ... and the owners say number 10 is a BIG reason why.

We spoke with Phillip Brown ... executive chef and co-owner of "Vince Young Steakhouse" in Austin ... and he tells us that business is booming at the joint and Vince's presence has a lot to do with it.

"He will greet the guests, shake their hands and take pictures. He's more charismatic and smooth and works the room better than any politician I've ever seen. The people just love him."
