Matt Barnes will cooperate with the NYPD and turn himself in next week to face misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a nightclub brawl, though he maintains his innocence ... a rep for the NBA star tells TMZ Sports.

We broke the story ... Barnes and his Sacramento Kings teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, were involved in an altercation at Avenue nightclub back in December.

A woman in the club claims Barnes choked her during the melee. Barnes claims he was the REAL victim and he did what he had to do to defend himself.

Now, a rep for Barnes is confirming the NY Daily News report that he'll turn himself in ... but AFTER a 4 game road trip.

Cousins was not charged.

After Ortiz dominated Chael at Bellator 170, an Internet conspiracy theory went around saying Chael gave Tito a hand signal to reverse a chokehold ... and essentially threw the fight.

We just found the video of the incident that got Shia LaBeouf arrested early Thursday morning.

The video doesn't capture the entire incident, but there's definitely a scuffle between Shia and another guy. You see everyone looking at the scuffle, and at 13 seconds you hear someone say, "He hit me!"

Cops say the victim and witnesses claim Shia pulled the guy's scarf, scratched him in the face and pushed him.

We have a second video where Shia seems to whack a guy in the chest, shake his hand and then yank him away. We know there was a group of people with the alleged victim and this guy could have been part of the pack.

The self-proclaimed founder of the alt-right movement says he's gotta watch his back now that riots are breaking out over Donald Trump ... especially since he got socked twice at the inauguration.

The American white nationalist, Richard Spencer, gave us a blow-by-blow of what went down in D.C. Friday.

Anti-Trump protests are already getting violent -- we got this crazy video of a fight breaking out on a Washington, D.C. street, and a woman was assaulted ... just one block from the inauguration.

It's unclear what sparked the conflict, but it appears some Trump protesters pissed off a group of men walking past them ... then all hell broke loose. Radio host Alex Jones was nearby and shouted for cops as one of the men hit a female protester.

Officers responded quickly, but it's obvious it's going to be a tense day in Washington. We're already seeing roving groups of masked people destroying property.

Police and anti-Donald Trump protesters are clashing in a rally that began outside the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C.

The protest started at the hotel, and then marched through D.C. to the National Press Club several blocks away. Once there ... pepper spray was fired into the crowd, and protesters started trying to break through police lines.

At one point, a Trump supporter was seen being punched multiple times in the head by masked protesters.

At least one protester has been bloodied. We have photographers right in the middle of the chaos.

9:10 AM PT -- A rep for the Arlington PD says they made 10 arrests at Sunday night's game.

Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct for fighting, but cops aren't sure if those arrests were related to the brawl shown in the videos.

Here's some unsportsmanlike conduct from a Dallas Cowboys fan after the tough loss on Sunday ... with some of the Big D faithful attacking a man in Packers gear.

The video starts mid-brawl with the man in an Aaron Rodgers jersey on his back while two dudes in Cowboys colors try to ground and pound him.

No word on what started the melee, but luckily for Mr. Rodgers jersey, not all the Dallas fans were salty about the loss, and actually interceded on his behalf.

We've reached out to cops for info on any arrests ... so far no word back.

WBA boxing champ Daniel Jacobs says he's sure he's gonna beat GGG in their upcoming fight and all because he's already bested an opponent way tougher than Golovkin ... cancer.

Jacobs was diagnosed with osteosarcoma -- a rare form of bone cancer -- in 2011 and missed nearly 19 months from the sport before resuming his career.

We got Jacobs in L.A. and he told us that fight was the toughest of his life ... and because of that ordeal he has absolutely ZERO fear of GGG, who's knocked out his last 23 opponents.

Dana White could not be clearer ... Floyd Mayweather has stupid written on his forehead for dismissing his $25 million offer to fight Conor McGregor.

Dana thinks Floyd should be grateful to him for offering him enough to pay Uncle Sam and Pristine Jewelers.

Tupac Shakur's ticket stub to the Mike Tyson fight he attended the night he was shot has been in very few hands since then, but now it could be in yours ... if ya got a lot o' cash.

Tupac was at the Tyson-Bruce Seldon fight Sept. 7, 1996 at the MGM Grand in Vegas, and after a first round KO by Iron Mike, he allegedly handed his ticket stub to a man and said ... "Here you go boy, enjoy this."

The ticket stub was later bought by a guy who verified it was indeed the rapper's. Now he's looking to sell one of the last items 'Pac ever touched to the highest bidder. Shortly after Tyson's fight, he and Suge Knight famously brawled with rivals in a lobby, then drove off and got shot.

Goldin Auctions owner Ken Goldin thinks the ticket will fetch at least $25,000.
