Sean McVay says anyone thinking Ndamukong Suh to the Rams is a done deal should pump their brakes ... telling TMZ Sports the deal is anything but done yet.

There was some speculation that Suh had settled on the Rams because after meeting with L.A. he canceled scheduled meetings with some other teams.

We got McVay out at LAX and asked the head man in L.A. if the Suh era in Tinseltown was a forgone conclusion, and Sean was cautiously optimistic at best.

"We'll see, excited about Marcus and Aquib, and if we're able to make that other move that'd be good for us, but we'll see. He's got a lot of other teams that want him."

Sean McVay had a GREAT first season with the Rams.

He's having an even better off-season.

The 32-year-old wonder coach flew to Hawaii for a little R&R with his insanely smokin' hot girlfriend Veronika Khomyn ... and the vacation photos are excellent.

Seems the two are just blowing off some steam in Maui after a long NFL season -- and it's well deserved. McVay led the Rams to an 11-5 record, 1st in the NFC West.

As for Veronika ... she's 28, she's from Ukraine and she met McVay when he was just a lowly tight end coach for the Washington Redskins back in the day.

Good move ... on both their parts!

Forget the water bottle flip challenge ... Todd Gurley just crushed the GATORADE COOLER FLIP CHALLENGE!!!

The Rams superstar was hanging' out at the NFL Pro Bowl practice in Orlando on Wednesday when he saw the cooler on a table and decided he needed to flip that bitch!!!

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram caught the whole thing on video (not sure Gurley even knew he was being recorded) ... and when he hit the flip, everyone went nuts!!!!

Gotta love Pro Bowl week.

Bonus: Remember when LeBron James pulled the water bottle flip off during a game? Good times.

L.A. Rams head coach Sean McVay says he's flattered by comparisons to Jon Gruden -- saying Chucky is a "mentor of mine" ... but he ain't lookin' forward to playing against him next season!

McVay was at Poppy in West Hollywood on Tuesday -- hours after Gruden was officially announced as the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders. So, we had to ask about Jared Goff previously referring to McVay as "Mini-Gruden."

"That's a compliment, man," McVay said ... "I respect him. He's a mentor of mine, so I'll take that as a compliment."

Fun Fact: McVay started his NFL coaching career as a staffer under Gruden on the Tampa Bay Bucs back in 2008.

All we know about a Rams vs. Raiders matchup is it's on the 2018 schedule ... but no date has been announced.

No sulking for Todd Gurley -- because hours after his Rams were bounced from the NFL playoffs, the running back was bouncing to a Hollywood hot spot with some smokeshows in tow.

Gurley and some friends (including 2 hot ladies) rolled into Delilah in West Hollywood on Saturday evening ... following the 26-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Look, it's clear from the video it wasn't a celebratory outing ... Todd doesn't look super happy ... but what else is he gonna do, sit at home and be mad?

Props on a solid season.

With Jon Gruden signing a $100 MILLION contract ... we had to ask Kurt Warner -- would you ever leave the broadcast booth for an NFL coaching gig?

Guess what ... he didn't say no.

Besides having a Hall of Fame career on the field, Warner's had a 2nd life as an analyst on NFL Network and in the broadcast booth for Westwood One Radio.

There's only one thing holding him back from taking a job on the sidelines ... and it's a pretty solid reason.

Todd Gurley had a big Thursday night -- hitting up the Clippers game and then Delilah (popular L.A. hotspot) ... just 2 days before the Rams take the field against the Falcons in the NFL playoffs.

TMZ Sports was at Delilah (a swanky restaurant and lounge) when we saw Gurley cruising in around 11:30 PM. He's such a big star in L.A., all he had to do was nod at the bouncer to get inside.

No word on when he left or if he even had a sip of alcohol (guessing he didn't) ... he may have just been stopping by to say hi to a friend.

Of course, the Rams play ATL in the Wild Card Round on Saturday -- and if Gurley, who's on fire right now, runs over the Falcons, no one will care about his night habits.

If they lose, however ...

The L.A. Rams have been crushing it on the field ... but what they just did for a local homeless family is the most amazing thing they've done all year.

Here's what happened ... Tavon Austin and Robert Quinn wanted to do something extra special for the holidays, so they teamed up with the LA Family Housing charity to find a well-deserving family to gift a fully-furnished, 4-bedroom apartment.

The lucky recipient is Shwonna Cox and her 6 children ... who lost all their belongings in the wildfires. Shwonna is an employee at USC, but was having trouble getting back on her feet.

But get this -- not only did Austin and Quinn put a roof over their heads ... the Rams hooked up Shwonna's new crib with a Christmas tree AND presents under the tree.

Nick Swardson is a die-hard Vikings fan -- "I like the Vikings more than my family."

So, when we asked how he felt about Vikings QB Case Keenum leading his team to victory over the team that let him go last year, the Rams -- Swardson was LOVING it.

Backstory ... the Rams let Keenum go after the 2016 season after benching him for Jared Goff. The Vikings swooped him up and the rest is history.

After putting a 33-7 beatdown on the Houston Texans, the L.A. Rams superstar running back dashed over to Nightingale Plaza in Hollywood to celebrate with a smokeshow date.

We're told the two got the VIP treatment on the way in -- and the way out. Let's face it, the Rams are finally getting treated like rockstars in Los Angeles.

No word on who Todd's attractive lady friend is -- but we're workin' on it.

The Rams have returned to L.A. after stomping the Cardinals in London ... and as you'd expect, head coach Sean McVay was in a GREAT mood!

WARNING: Our photog was SUPER excited (big Rams fan) and fanboy'd out a little too hard when talking with Jared Goff.

But he settled down by the time McVay came by -- and talked to the 31-year-old head coach about how the Rams (and Goff) are taking the league by storm.

Ex-L.A. Rams WR Deon Long -- who was featured on "Hard Knocks" when he got cut for bringing a woman to his dorm room -- is now a suspect in an armed robbery, TMZ Sports has learned.

Long's firing became a viral moment when then-coach Jeff Fisher ripped him for violating the team's "no female guests in the room" rule during training camp.

Now, law enforcement sources tell us the 26-year-old is suspected of pulling a gun on a man in a craigslist transaction that had gone bad over a duffel bag.

We're told the alleged victim told police he met up with Long to sell him the bag -- but instead of producing cash, Long whipped out a pistol and made off without paying.

Cops are now investigating. We've also reached out to Long for comment, so far no word back.

Eric Dickerson thinks the Chargers relocating to Los Angeles was a HUGE mistake ... telling TMZ Sports the Bolts are "no factor" in Hollywood.

We spoke with the Rams Hall of Famer about whether there's enough love to go around for both teams in L.A. ... and E.D. made it clear there's no competition to attract new fans.

"First of all, the Chargers are no factor," Dickerson says. "I hate to say that, I mean ... the Chargers don't even have Chargers fans in San Diego."

"I don't see the Chargers having a lot of success here in L.A., just to be honest with you."

Here's video of the moment Jeff Fisher told his Rams coaching staff he was just fired -- and Fisher was extremely emotional ... telling his coaches, "Sorry if I let you guys down."

The footage was shot during Week 14 of the 2016 NFL season (on or around Dec. 11) -- Fisher is breathing heavily and trying to collect himself before breaking the news in a team meeting room.

It's clear his staffers were completely blindsided by the announcement.

He promises he'll do everything he can to help get the other coaches new jobs.

In the video -- captured for this season's "All or Nothing" documentary on Amazon -- you can see assistant coach Mike Singletary walk up to Fisher to shake his hand and thank him.

The Rams have since replaced Fisher with 31-year-old Sean McVay. Fisher is currently unemployed.

Chargers players Donavon Clark & Tyrell Williams are throwing down the gauntlet to L.A. football fans ... saying the time is now to choose their team, 'cause the bandwagon will be full at a later date.

We got the guys out at Pink's Hot Dogs in L.A. (football players gotta eat) and asked them how Tinseltown pigskin fans are supposed to make their decision between the Chargers and Rams.

It's a good question ... L.A. hasn't had a team in FOREVER, and now there's two, so the city could be thrust into an all-out football civil war.

Clark and Williams say no matter how you make your decision ... MAKE IT NOW ... 'cause they're planning on winning a lot of games and don't want fans who just root for the trendy team.
