Dr. Ben Carson Ripped for $2 Tubman Crack ... HE Needs Brain Surgery

Published | Updated

Dr. Ben Carson took a huge shot at Harriet Tubman when asked about her bumping Andrew Jackson off the $20 bill -- and now he's getting blasted by another historic woman's family.

If you missed it ... the ex-prez hopeful went on FOX Business channel and not only sang the praises of our 7th president, but suggested Tubman be relegated to the $2 bill.

Rosa Parks was also in the running to get a new spot on U.S. currency, and her niece, Sheila Keys, tells TMZ ... Carson "needs surgery on his brain" and clearly puts zero historical value on Tubman's contributions to America.

As for Rosa getting passed up -- Keys says her aunt "was not a diva and being on a dollar bill does not represent what she's about."

Gwen Stefani Divorce Gavin Didn't Get My Music ... Or My Fashion Line

Published | Updated

She got No Doubt, he got Bush ... that's how the music rights were split up in the Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale divorce ... which means she got a lot more than him.

We broke the story ... Gavin agreed to take way less than he was entitled to in their split -- most likely to try and keep things amicable after 13 years of marriage.

Rossdale COULD have fought for 50% of everything Gwen made during their union -- but opted to let her keep various assets she acquired.

In addition to her music, Stefani also gets 100% control over her wildly successful fashion lines L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers.

Stefani agreed to put 25% of the profits from L.A.M.B. in a trust ... presumably for the benefit of their kids.

As for real estate, Gwen gave up her rights to any of their property in Europe -- where the couple had 4 homes. She does get 50% of the profits from the sale of their Bev Hills house ... and also full control over 2 other L.A. homes.

Neither of them gets child support or spousal support -- instead, they created an expense account for the kids in which they each sunk $1 MILLION.

The also agreed to joint physical and legal custody of their 3 kids.

Alexander Hamilton Staying on $10 Bill! Harriet Tubman Booting Jackson Instead

Published | Updated

Alexander Hamilton got a stay of execution ... the first secretary of the U.S. Treasury will remain on $10 bills -- and Harriet Tubman will get props on the $20 bill. Sorry, Andrew Jackson ... you gotta go.

The Treasury had announced that Hamilton might be replaced by a woman, and there was heated debate about who would get the spot. But you gotta figure all the heat around "Hamilton" the Broadway play -- which just won a Pulitzer -- changed some minds in D.C.

According to Politico ... the Treasury will make it official on Wednesday. There are other changes -- leaders of the women's suffrage movement will be repped on the back of the $10 ... and civil rights leaders will be on the flip side of the $5.

Politico says there's still a chance the 7th prez could end up on the back of the $20.

Charlie Sheen's Ex He's Cutting Off His Rich Nose To Spite His Kids' Faces

Published | Updated

Brooke Mueller is accusing Charlie Sheen of selling off his "Two and a Half Men" cash cow just so he can get his child support payments to her reduced.

As we've reported, Charlie's been crying poverty to the court ... saying he can no longer afford the $55k per month, but Brooke's not buying it for a second. In new docs, she says Charlie deliberately sold off his back end revenue from "Two and a Half Men" in order to lower his monthly income.

Yes, Charlie got a lump sum of $26 million off that deal, but he lost $613k in monthly income ... which Brooke thinks is all part of his poverty play.

She also thinks it's laughable Charlie's acting down and out, since he "continues to own multiple mansions across the globe, fly all over the world on private planes, have several paid employees at his beck and call, and live an extremely lavish lifestyle."

Brooke is begging the court not to fall for Sheen's hard luck story, and she wants a hearing to comb through his finances.

According to his contract, the teen actor, who plays Jalen in the movie, banked $65k for "Barbershop: The Next Cut" ... which took in more than $20 million.

It's a decent payday for Rainey -- who also has a key role in 50 Cent's TV show, "Power." The bad news is ... he's getting zero back from the movie's success. Then again, he's only 15.

Pray for a role in 'Barbershop 4.'

David Hasselhoff No More Alimony!!! I Want to Retire

Published | Updated

David Hasselhoff wants time on the beach -- for retirement, not "Baywatch" -- but an obstacle is standing in his way ... his ex-wife.

The Hoff filed legal docs asking a judge to cut off all spousal support to Pamela Bach, whom he divorced in 2006. David's been paying Pam $21,000 a month for nearly 10 years, and he says she's made absolutely no effort to become self-supporting.

David tells the judge he's getting to the age where retirement should be looming, but he says that can't happen with a gigantic, monthly alimony nut.

The 63-year-old says he's looting his retirement account because his monthly gross -- $112,000 -- is not enough to cover his expenses and spousal support.

David says Pam, who's 52, is a talented actor and producer and could easily get a job.

Blac Chyna Kris Jenner Will NOT Own Me

Published | Updated

Blac Chyna will not hitch her wagon to the Kardashian empire under any circumstances, because she believes it will royally screw up her brand.

Sources intimately connected to Chyna tell us, she has made it clear to Rob's family ... she will not sign with Kris, will not be under the Kardashian umbrella, will not do their reality show ... and on and on.

Chyna insists she wants nothing to do with TV ... she's far more interested in developing a Paris Hilton-style business empire, hawking everything from eyelashes to purses.

She also says the notion she's benefited from the Kardashians is BS, and in fact Rob has richly benefited from her. Truth be told, Rob's been making money since hooking up with Chyna ... promoting teeth whitening products, women's shoes and other stuff on social media ... for $$$$.

We're also told Rob's cooled on TV, and views himself as Chyna's business partner as well as her fiance.

If you want him to do his Donatello voice from the old 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movies -- that's available for $500. Also ... what's wrong with you?

Feldman says your cash will support an album that includes "the greatest names in music" -- but honestly, the only one you'd recognize is Fred Durst.

Gwen Stefani Gets Off Easy in Divorce ... Thanks to Gavin

Published | Updated

Gwen Stefani got a BIG break in her divorce, thanks to Gavin Rossdale, because we've learned he's now on record with the judge walking away from millions of dollars to which he's legally entitled.

Gwen and Gavin have struck a settlement which was just filed with the court. Sources connected with the couple tell us Gavin has agreed to a lopsided split of property in favor of Gwen.

TMZ broke the story, the couple -- married for 13 years -- did not have a prenup, so under the laws of California Gavin was entitled to 50% of everything acquired during the marriage. Our sources say Gavin did not press to get a big chunk of the money Gwen made from concert and record sales.

We've also learned the couple agreed to a 50/50 joint custody arrangement, although Gavin will end up with more than 50% custody of their 3 kids because of Gwen's touring schedule.

And we've learned, Gavin is not asking for child support, even though he could have pushed for it and Gwen -- who has significantly more money and earning capacity -- would have been on the hook.

All that's left is for the judge to sign off on the settlement, which is just a formality.

Pete Wentz No Special Treatment In Tow Truck Caper

Published | Updated

Pete Wentz did not get a shady break from the company that hooked up his illegally parked car and then backed off ... because we've learned Pete pulled out his wallet, paid piper, and it was all legal.

As we reported, Pete's Porsche was parked illegally on a Hollywood street, so a parking enforcement cop ticketed him and then called the tow truck company. The whip was hooked up to the tow truck when Pete walked up to the car and got the tow truck driver to release it.

We've learned Pete followed a little-known law. He paid the towing company's fee as well as an administrative fee. In return the tow truck driver unhooked the Porsche.

We found out tow truck companies will let a driver pay even if their car is en route to the tow yard. The tow truck company wants its money and the costs paid, and the driver gets the car back.

We're told in Pete's case it cost him $237. Not a bad deal.

According to docs obtained by TMZ, Midway Rent A Car sued the singer after he allegedly stopped making payments on his 2010 Rolls Ghost back in October. By the way, Midway says the car's worth $202k, and it wants to repo the ride.

Sources close to Ray J tell us he's already working out a deal to become current on the payments. We're told Ray J lost track because he subleased the Ghost, but understands he's legally responsible and will pay ... to avoid a visit from the repo man.

How does one lose track of a car payment? One gets too many cars! Ray says he's made deals for 20 cars this year -- including 3 Ferraris, 8 Range Rovers and 3 Benzes.

We're told he sells and subleases some of them to celebs and biz associates.

The mogul celebrated the creation of a payment plan Monday night by hitting up Ace of Diamonds LA. There was rain in the forecast, to the tune of $5k.

Fiddy didn't pass up the opportunity to promote his Effen vodka ... so that's what he meant by liquidating assets.
