Charlie Sheen Sends Denise Threatening Email

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen blabbed during his Radio City Music Hall show that he was threatened with legal action if he trashed Denise Richards on stage ... but sources tell us it's the exact opposite -- Charlie threatened Denise.

Sources tell us, Charlie -- who did bad mouth Denise during the show by calling her a "dognapper" -- sent Denise an email this morning at 10AM PDT threatening that if she did not turn over her pug ... he would continue trashing her on stage.

We're told Denise sent Charlie a response, saying she would never turn the dog over ... and that Charlie could say whatever he wanted about her.

As TMZ first reported ... Denise isn't turning over the dog because she believes Charlie mistreated the pug and is responsible for the death of the dog's companion.

Sources connected with Denise tell us no one from her camp sent Charlie any communication threatening legal action if he mentioned Denise on stage.

Atlanta Hawks star Jamal Crawford is pissed at his former landlord -- which is ironic, because the landlord claims Crawford's dogs pissed all over his home -- and now the two are headed for court.

Crawford has filed a lawsuit against the landlord -- claiming she won't return his $20,000 deposit on an Atlanta mansion he rented ... insisting he only caused $1,700 in damage during his stay.

But according to MyFoxAtlanta.com -- the landlord says she's going EASY on the guy -- because his massive doggies -- 2 bull mastiffs and a rottweiler -- relieved themselves all over the home ... we're talking #1s AND #2s.

In fact, the landlord claims the designer blinds are stained with dog pee ... and she has to replace the carpets because the smell is unbearable. She claims the dogs also chewed up several banisters and doors ... and the plumbing needs to be replaced because the sinks were clogged up with dog food.

In total, the landlord claims Crawford caused more than $28k in damages.

FYI -- Crawford pulled in $10.1 million with the Hawks this year ... but he's suing for $60k plus attorney fees.

So far, no court date has been set.

'GoDaddy.com' Elephant Killer -- PETA Is Extorting Me

Published | Updated

The GoDaddy.com CEO who shot and killed an African elephant is now taking aim at PETA for blasting his hunting trip -- vowing he won't be extorted by the animal defenders.

Bob Parsons triggered controversy after posting an Internet video chronicling his elephant slaying during a trip to Zimbabwe.

TMZ obtained a copy of the letter PETA sent Parsons, presenting him with its "first-ever Scummiest CEO of the Year Award" -- and informing him PETA is "taking our domain-name business elsewhere."

Parsons tells TMZ, "I understand PETA has an agenda, but I refuse to go along with their extortion-style practice."

Parsons claims he was only hunting "problem elephants" -- ones that destroy the villagers' crops ... adding, "I stand by my decision to help African villagers." Parson claims he has the support of tribal leaders there.

In its letter, PETA points out there are effective and nonlethal methods already being used to keep elephants from village crops. But Parsons isn't giving in to PETA's request that he back more humane methods ... saying, "Will we donate to PETA in return for their business? Absolutely not."

Denise Richards to Charlie Sheen: Pug You!

Published | Updated

Denise Richards is furious that Charlie Sheen is tweeting she's a dog thief, and is telling friends Charlie is actually a dog abuser ... this according to sources familiar with the situation.

Back when Charlie and Denise split, Charlie took custody of her 2 pugs so the kids could play with them when they visited him -- which she had before they got married. Things were ok for a while, but after Charlie's meltdown at the Plaza hotel in NYC, Denise started getting calls that the pugs were malnourished and neglected.

Things became so alarming, we're told Denise went to Charlie's and he gave her the dogs. Sadly, one of them died of malnutrition, but the other is ok.

Now Charlie wants the dog back, and sources say he just wants the pooch as a mascot on his tour bus.

As for Charlie's tweet -- "We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH -neese POOR-ARD. A VILE KIDNAPPER AND NOW DOG THIEF. HATE."

But Denise is steadfast ... claiming Charlie can't even take care of himself and she's not giving up the pug.

PETA -- Knut's Death Could Have Been Avoided

Published | Updated

The tragic passing of Knut, everyone's favorite German polar bear, could have been prevented ... maybe ... this according to PETA.

Knut passed away in his habitat this morning of still-to-be determined causes at the age of 4. A rep for PETA tells TMZ they contacted to Berlin Zoo months ago to alert them to the fact that Knut was being "terrorized" by three female polar bears -- including his own mother!

The rep tells us, "PETA Germany repeatedly asked zoo authorities to move Knut away from the three females to a different location. His premature death could possibly have been avoided. Polar bears don't belong in captivity."

A necropsy is planned for Monday to determine the cause of death.

Tarantino Sues Exotic Birds Are Driving Me INSANE

Published | Updated

Quentin Tarantino is going to WAR with his famous neighbor -- claiming the guy owns a ton of exotic birds that constantly emit "blood-curdling screams" ... and it's affecting Q's ability to write scripts!

Ironically, the guy Tarantino is feuding with is another Academy Award winning writer -- Alan Ball -- the guy who wrote "American Beauty" and created "True Blood."

According to Quentin's lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Tarantino claims ever since Ball installed an "exotic bird menagerie" -- Quentin has been forced to endure the "obnoxious pteradactyl-like screams" of the macaw birds.

In fact, Q claims the noise has "seriously disrupted [his] ability to work as a writer in his home."

Tarantino says he tried to amicably resolve the matter with Ball -- but Alan has "done little to eliminate the macaws' daily cacophony" ... so he wants the judge to force Ball to silence them once and for all.
