Keke Palmer is gunning for full legal and physical custody of her 8-month-old child … another development in the apparent relationship breakdown with Darius Jackson.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, the actress is asking a judge to give her full custody of her baby son Leodis Andrellton Jackson. Keke does not get into details as to why she's decided to file.

The petition states that Keke is willing to pay the reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth -- but she's also asking the court order Darius to assist with attorney fees and expert fees.

As we reported, the fallout between the couple seemingly started when Darius publicly insinuated Keke's choice of attire at an Usher concert in Vegas was inappropriate for a mom.

Tucker Carlson is open to playing GOP candidate wrangler for a debate, but the Republicans would have to be down with the parameters he'd demand ... TMZ has learned.

In case you missed this week's debate, Vivek Ramaswamy gave a full-throated endorsement for Tucker to moderate a future Republican debate, predicting it would spark a major ratings boost.

Well, sources with direct knowledge tell us ... Vivek has personally verbalized this wish to Tucker himself, and while the former Fox News firebrand likes the idea of doing it -- he's not keen about doing it on a traditional TV network.

We're told Tucker actually spoke to GOP officials about the role back in the summer, after Fox News let him go ... but he didn't want to fall back in with corporate media, which he thinks is all buddy-buddy with the RNC.

So, the only way Vivek's dream will come true is if the party approves the debate airing exclusively on X. Obviously, Elon Musk would love that, but our source adds the real benefit for the RNC could be finally landing Donald Trump ... who's been absent from previous debates.

The feeling is Tucker's involvement might prompt Trump to participate.

Tucker's potential involvement came about after GOP candidate Vivek took aim at NBC's Lester Holt, Hugh Hewitt, and Kristen Welker during Wednesday night's third battle of Republican candidates.

As it turns out, the journalists got off easy ... relative to Ramaswamy's attack on Nikki Haley, who he called "Dick Cheney in 3-inch heels."

"Good Burger" and "Kenan & Kel" star Kel Mitchell is now at home and on the road to recovery after his mysterious hospitalization ... something he's calling "genuinely frightening."

Kel broke his silence about the ordeal Wednesday night, saying on Instagram, "Grateful for the flood of prayers and positive vibes" -- adding, "The scare was real, but so was the support."

The 45-year-old goes on to say, "With the grace of God and the skill of the medical team, I'm now on the road to recovery at home, embraced by the love of my family" ... and he's shouting out all the folks who wished him well while spending time at the hospital.

Fans have been sounding off in the comments ... wishing him well, and asking what happened to land him in the ER -- but he's staying silent for the time being.

SAG-AFTRA just struck a new tentative deal with Hollywood's major studios -- effectively ending the actors' strike ... this after more than 100 days of picketing.

The guild announced Wednesday they'd come to terms with the AMPTP for a new 3-year contract that'll allow union actors to get back to work ... and let showbiz get back on track after the lengthy stalemate.

SAG said, "In a unanimous vote this afternoon, The SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical Committee approved a tentative agreement with the AMPTP bringing an end to the 118 day strike." They added that the strike would officially end at 12:01 AM on Thursday, November 9.

The terms of the deal have yet to be publicly disclosed, but there's been a lot of reporting on what the sticking points were in this final stretch -- by most accounts, the language surrounding AI protections was what SAG was nitpicking over these past several days.

One report from THR suggested the studios wanted to be able to scan actors for a one-time fee -- including dead actors, BTW -- and be able to use their image/likeness for future projects ... but SAG apparently said that was a nonstarter, demanding more red tape and extra pay for any reuse of the AI scans down the line ... including the actor's permission.

We'll see what they ultimately landed on -- but presumably, it's something that SAG considered fair for their members, for now at least. They'll go back to the table soon enough, and we're sure this whole process will start all over again -- hopefully, less dramatically.

There are rumblings of SAG actors also getting better pay/on-set conditions guaranteed in this new deal. The union's board and members still need to ratify it ... but it sounds like it's over.

Kel Mitchell -- famous for his work on "Good Burger" as well as "Kenan & Kel" -- is currently hospitalized, TMZ has learned.

We know the actor was admitted into a Los Angeles-area hospital Tuesday night, coming in through the emergency room. A witness tells us Kel appeared to be conscious and alert when he arrived.

The cause of Kel's illness is unclear, but we do know as of Wednesday, he was still in the hospital getting treatment. It's unknown when he'll be released or what his current condition is.

We reached out to Kel's reps, who did not comment on his situation.

Kel's social media pages are still posting despite his hospital stay -- but it's mostly promotional material -- including his work on "Hollywood Squares" and upcoming flick, "Good Burger 2" ... so it's likely the posts were preplanned.

Fans know Kel got his start in the Nickelodeon series, "All That" in the 90's ... before teaming up with "SNL" star Kenan Thompson for "Kenan & Kel" -- the 2 also starred in "Good Burger" in the middle of their comedy show success ... with a sequel to the burger film dropping later this month.
