A sea lion at the Central Park Zoo made a great escape amid all the flooding in New York City ... swimming out of its enclosure thanks to rising waters.

Video shows the sea lion on the other side of the exhibit, swimming around in brown water ... which was high enough for the animal to get out of the pool.

There are two other sea lions happily swimming around the enclosure, but one was able to make it over the fence ... with the marine mammal is chilling in a spot normally reserved for humans, at least when it's not underwater.

For reference, here's how the sea lion exhibit usually looks ... as you can see, the pool isn't that big, and the escaped sea lion is pretty close to a tent that leads to another area of the zoo.

The sea lion didn't escape the zoo completely ... but she did get out of their habitat, and she's obviously pretty curious about what lies beyond her little pool.

As you know ... heavy rain is pounding the Big Apple and there's extreme flooding throughout the city.

The Central Park Zoo was closed to the public Friday as a result of the severe weather conditions, and the sea lions seem to be making the most of a rainy day.

Khloe Kardashian may have grown up on the coast, but that doesn't mean she's down with the creatures of the sea ... in fact, she's TERRIFIED of whales.

If you missed it, Khloe revealed her fear during the season 4 premiere of "The Kardashians" this week when the family took a trip to Mexico and could see whales nearby in the ocean. Khloe exclaimed, “I am really freaking out ... I feel like I am going to cry. I don’t think I am comfortable seeing it.”

Khloe further explained her phobia Friday, getting on X to say, "This has been a phobia of mine for years. I don’t want anything bad to happen to whales and I know the phobia is totally irrational, but we don’t pick our phobias. I low-key have a fear of the ocean, but a whale I can’t even look at, it freaks me out so much."

She continued, "They are ginormous, and we discover new species all the time. Over 80% of our oceans are unchartered. That’s f***ing bananas! We don’t even know what’s in there."

New York City's looking more like Atlantis after an intense amount of rainfall and some wild videos show New Yorkers struggling to keep their cars, buses and heads above the water line.

NYC's getting slammed Friday with the worst of the storm -- we're talking up to 2 inches of rainfall each hour -- which means flash flood warnings for Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens and city buses taking on water like the freakin' Titanic.

Passengers are posting videos of the water ripping right through the bus aisles and under seats as the bus drivers just try to make it through city streets. The highways aren't any better.

Despite city officials issuing a travel advisory, cars are still on the road ... but several have been stranded in floodwaters, while others are bailing water out of their rides with cups!

The city's subways are perilous too, and the ones that are running are doing so on an "extremely limited" service.

With a total of 5 to 6 inches expected before the storm passes ... the greater NYC area is gonna be drenched for days. Not the greatest TGIF for the Big Apple.

Un adolescente canadiense falleció después de ponerse de pie a través del techo de un carro y cruzar a través de un garaje de estacionamiento, trayecto en el que accidentalmente golpeó su cuerpo contra una viga de hormigón.

La Policía de Edmonton respondió a una llamada en el estacionamiento del West Edmonton Mall el jueves por la tarde, después de enterarse sobre las heridas del hombre de 18 años.

A Canadian teenager is dead after standing up through a car sunroof, cruising through a parking garage ... and accidentally slamming his body into a concrete beam.

Edmonton Police responded to a call at the West Edmonton Mall's parking garage Thursday afternoon ... after getting the call about the 18-year-old man's injuries.

EPS says the car was moving under a ramp when the guy stood up and struck the beam. Paramedics responded to treat the guy and rushed him to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.

According to cops, the 17-year-old male driver and a 15-year-old passenger weren't injured -- but cops are still investigating to get more details.

At this point, the police don't think speeding, drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal collision.

*NSYNC's brand-new song, "Better Place," is officially out for the world to enjoy ... and fans are going wild over the first track heard from the group in over 20 years.

The boy band's song officially dropped online Thursday, made for the flick, "Trolls Band Together." As we reported, a teaser of the song debuted a couple of weeks ago, but folks can get the full experience now ... and the consensus is that it's an absolute banger.

Fans have been praising the track since it dropped ... one said it "gets better with each listen," and another said they're loving every second of it -- including "JC's voice esp the adlibs  😍😍😍."

Some pointed out a piece of the song that isn't sitting right with them, though -- the track is credited as *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake.

Obviously, Justin -- one of the stars of the "Trolls" franchise -- is a part of *NSYNC, but fans saw the separation as a sign that JT wasn't back with them.

A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ ... the reason Justin was credited separately is strictly for algorithm purposes. We're told because Justin's the only one who has released hits in the era of streaming, it was decided to put his name next to the group.

Sources say it was Justin's idea to have JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone on the song with him ... as made clear from the BTS video of them having a blast back in the studio together.

Remember, the group doesn't have plans to go on tour, do a residency, or a new album after the "Trolls" song ... but we're told if the gang decides to record a full album, it would have a whole new sound.

New video from inside the horrific fire at a wedding in Iraq shows how quickly the flames spread in only seconds before over 100 people were killed.

The clips show the happy couple dancing inside the Al Haithem wedding hall near the village of Qaraqosh also known as Al-Hamdaniya Tuesday night. A series of sparklers goes off around them, starting the blaze and sending guests into a panic.

Flowers hanging from a massive truss above the couple seem to act as fuel to the flames, going up almost immediately as embers fall to the ground.

After most had evacuated the main room, huge beams -- completely on fire -- crashed to the ground. Footage after the fatal incident shows the intense destruction caused to the building.

The bride and groom reportedly made it out alive, but Reuters says 113 people have been confirmed dead, and another 150 suffered injuries. Iraq's Interior Ministry has allegedly issued arrest warrants for the owners of the wedding hall, with 1 already in cuffs as of Thursday.

Survivors from the wedding fire claim the place wasn't equipped for a disaster like this ... and one woman told the outlet, "This was not a wedding. This was hell," while crying and hitting herself after losing her 27-year-old daughter and 3 grandkids in the fire -- one of whom was just 8 months old.

You'll recall ... Gypsy's then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, admitted to murdering Dee Dee in 2015 to help Gypsy escape her mother's clutches. He's currently serving a life sentence, while Gypsy was originally set to be released from custody in 2026 after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.

Dee Dee was accused of forcing Gypsy to pretend to be disabled for years, holding her hostage and even tying her up in a bed after Gypsy tried to escape. Dee Dee reportedly suffered from Munchausen by proxy -- a mental disorder where a parent fabricates illnesses in their child for sympathy or attention.

Gypsy is 32 years old now, and she's said in interviews from prison she feels more free behind bars than she was when she was living with her mother.

"Suits" star Patrick J. Adams is sayin' sorry for sharing BTS photos of his former costar Meghan Markle ... after catching heat for posting them during the ongoing actors' strike.

Patrick did the ol' delete and apologize 2-step Wednesday after he'd posted some never-before-seen snaps of Meghan and other cast members, clearly taken when she was still on the show, and the USA Network show was still in production.

He's now scrubbed the pics and told his followers he "foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight" that SAG-AFTRA is still facing.

Patrick called the past photos of Meghan "an embarrassing oversight," adding he's "incredibly sorry."

The throwback photos of Meghan come off as a bit flirty -- one shows her lying down on a couch while dressed in a pencil skirt ... something her character, Rachel, often wore.

Don't forget, Patrick and Meghan played lovers on the 9-season series, so ya could chalk it up to just being in character. Also, it's not like he just posted pics of MM -- he showed photos of costars like Daniel Costabile, Vanessa Ray, and Trevor Lipinski, too.

As you know, SAG-AFTRA actors are forbidden from promoting, talking about, and yes, posting about projects made under the union's TV and film contracts -- which goes for things made in the past as well.
