Timbaland is facing the backlash head-on after his "muzzle joke" aimed at Britney Spears -- he's apologizing to her and her fans, who had a riotous response when his remark went viral.

On Tuesday, during a TikTok streaming session, Timbaland admitted his faults, saying ... "I’m sorry to all the Britney fans, even to her" -- and added he was in the wrong for attempting to block her right to speak out.

Fans thought Timbaland's reaction to Britney's "The Woman in Me" memoir -- particularly the bits about Justin Timberlake -- was in poor taste.

While on a panel last week with 9th Wonder at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Timbaland quipped JT needed to "put a muzzle" on Britney, blaming today's social media climate for her actions.

Fans thought Timbaland was being insensitive and he saw their perspective, and when some of them asked if he respects women, he fired back a hearty "hell yeah."

JT and Tim go way back -- but so do JT and Britney. In her book, she says they both decided to have an abortion when she got pregnant back in 2000 ... among other shocking revelations from her heyday.

Esto, en medio de un montón de escépticos que están alegando que Israel está plantando banderas falsas para justificar sus represalias en Gaza. Los informes de bebés israelíes decapitados, por ejemplo, han sido objeto de escrutinio.

Por supuesto, esto ocurre un mes después del ataque inicial y desde entonces, Israel parece haber perdido algo de apoyo público a medida que continúa su campaña en Gaza. Eso se avecina aquí, también.

La primera proyección de "Bearing Witness" está prevista para esta semana en un lugar no revelado y, según los informes, se ha invitado a más de 120 personas. Se proyectará primero en Los Ángeles y en función de la acogida es posible que haya más proyecciones en el futuro.

En términos de reacción a esto, ha habido una gran cantidad de reacciones negativas de los partidarios pro-Palestina, pero curiosamente también está recibiendo críticas de una organización activista llamada Voz Judía por la Paz que, por cierto, se describe a sí misma como anti-sionista.

Su capítulo de Los Ángeles le dice a TMZ que consideran que esta proyección es un "evento de propaganda", y que simplemente no muestra una imagen completa de esta guerra, incluyendo lo que está sucediendo ahora mismo en Palestina. Es decir, miles de civiles inocentes que mueren en el fuego cruzado.

JVFP-LA dice que este tipo de material solo sirve para "[avivar] las llamas de la guerra y el genocidio", añadiendo que Israel está socavando su propia misión de tratar de salvar a los rehenes que aún están en poder de Hamás a través de sus tácticas brutales. En otras palabras, no están de acuerdo con Gal y compañía.

Haciéndose eco de ese sentimiento, hay otra organización llamada Alianza para la Paz (ALLMEP) en Oriente Medio, que nos dice: "Ha habido una negación y ofuscación muy preocupantes de los terribles crímenes cometidos el 7 de octubre. Es comprensible que se quiera evitar que esa negación se generalice. Sin embargo, esto debe equilibrarse con el hecho de que estamos tratando con personas cada vez más traumatizadas -tanto en la región como en todo el mundo- que han estado expuestas a imágenes, tanto de los ataques en Israel como ahora de los ataques aéreos en Gaza, que no pueden dejar de ver".

Y añaden: "Esto es especialmente preocupante para los niños y los jóvenes. ALLMEP centra sus esfuerzos en reparar las relaciones entre israelíes y palestinos y promover la paz. Que es, en última instancia, como podemos evitar que escenas espeluznantes como estas se vuelvan a repetir".

Otras fuentes de la organización nos dicen que creen que el gobierno israelí está utilizando a Gal, y un ex soldado de las FDI, para impulsar su agenda, con la esperanza de utilizar sus contactos en Hollywood para difundir su mensaje y así ganar una "guerra por poderes" en el tribunal de la opinión pública.

Se nos dice que ALLMEP reconoce las atrocidades cometidas por Hamás el 7 de octubre, pero dice que la verdadera solución para poner fin a la violencia radica en mostrar el derramamiento de sangre en todo su alcance, tanto de Israel como de Gaza. Dicho todo esto, la postura de Israel ha sido clara en todo momento: sus ciudadanos fueron masacrados y hacer pagar a Hamás con un método quirúrgico es prácticamente imposible.

Gal Gadot plans to host a screening this week that'll show off nearly an hour of nonstop carnage undertaken by Hamas in Israel ... but it's being slammed by a Jewish org in the U.S.

The Israeli actress is said to be lending a hand to director Guy Nattiv in airing a roughly 45-minute film, of sorts, called "Bearing Witness" -- originally compiled by the Israeli Defense Forces ... and which depicts graphic footage and images of Hamas' Oct. 7 rampage.

The whole point of this is to showcase what really happened there that day -- this amid a lot of skeptics and others who've alleged Israel is planting false flags to justify their retaliation in Gaza. Reports of beheaded Israeli babies, for instance, have been scrutinized.

Of course, it comes a month after the initial attack ... and since then, Israel seems to have lost some public support as its campaign in Gaza continues. That's looming here, too.

The first screening of "Bearing Witness" is supposed to go down sometime this week at an undisclosed location -- and according to reports, upwards of 120 people have been invited. L.A. is first, and based on the reception ... more screenings might happen down the line.

In terms of reaction to this ... there's been a lot of pushback from pro-Palestine supporters -- but interestingly enough ... she's also catching flak from an activist organization called Jewish Voice for Peace ...which, FWIW, pegs itself as anti-Zionist.

Its L.A. chapter tells TMZ ... they consider this screening to be a "propaganda event," going on to say it simply won't tell the full picture of this war -- including what's happening right now in Palestine ... namely, thousands of innocent civilians being killed in the crossfire.

JVFP-LA says this type of material only serves to "[fan] the flames of war and genocide" ... adding, Israel is undermining its own mission of trying to save hostages still being held by Hamas through their brutal tactics. In other words ... they're not on board with Gal and co.

Echoing that sentiment is another org called Alliance for Middle East Peace, which tells us ... "There has been some very disturbing denial and obfuscation of the terrible crimes committed on October 7th. It is understandable that there would be a wish to prevent that denial from becoming more widespread. However, this needs to be balanced by the fact that we are dealing with increasingly traumatized people -- both in the region and around the world -- who have been exposed to images, both in the attacks in Israel and now the airstrikes in Gaza, that they cannot unsee."

They add, "This is particularly worrying for children and young people. ALLMEP is focusing efforts on repairing relations between Israelis and Palestinians and furthering peace. Which is ultimately how we can prevent shocking scenes such as these from ever occurring again."

Other org sources tell us they believe Gal -- an ex-IDF soldier herself -- is being used by the Israeli government to push an agenda -- hoping to use her Hollywood connections to spread their message in hopes of winning a "proxy war" in the court of public opinion.

The calls for Brian Cashman's job have never been louder, but the Yankees general manager ain't goin' down without a fight ... the longtime baseball exec got feisty with reporters on Tuesday while defending his team!

"I think we're pretty f***ing good, personally, and I'm proud of our people," Cashman told a horde of reporters at the GM meetings in Scottsdale, AZ.

Today's media sesh with Cash was highly anticipated... it's the first time Brian spoke since the end of an incredibly disappointing season that saw the Bronx Bombers finish in second to last place, just 2 games over .500, despite their near-$279 million payroll.

Cashman also addressed the perception that he's made a bunch of bad trades ... bringing up Sonny Gray and Joey Gallo, two former Yankees who struggled mightily in NYC, but have had success since leaving, with BC saying he "gets a kick out of" people criticizing the moves.

"Since Joey Gallo's left us, who's picked him up? Two playoff teams. Sonny Gray, he's currently in the competition for a Cy Young Award."

Cashman touched on a bunch more ... including the perception that the Yanks are overly dependent on analytics, something Brian says is flat-out untrue.

"No one is doing their deep dives, they're just throwing bulls*** and accusing us of being run analytically. To be said we are guided by analytics as a driver is a lie," Brian said.

Team owner Hal Steinbrenner also talked to the media during a virtual press conference, promising "big changes" to come.

The question is, as another season passes without a World Series win, will any of those changes involve Cash or skipper Aaron Boone losing their jobs as much of the fanbase wants?

Case in point ... Carly said that Gaga -- who went by her real name, Stefani, back then -- would dismiss basic lunchtime etiquette, singing "Wicked" at the top of her lungs while on the piano as others tried to eat in peace ... every single day.

Carly said, "It was break time, and we were forced to listen to her" ... which she found so irritating, she started eating her lunch in the hallway just to flee Gaga's singing.

But did Gaga's flair for performing arts put her above everyone else in class? Carly says no ... but with Grammys, an Academy Award & many more accolades under her belt, she acknowledges that Gaga is NOW above everyone else.

Timbaland happily came to Justin Timberlake's defense when the topic of Britney Spears' best-selling memoir came up -- but his response has Britney's army of fans declaring war on the superproducer!!!

Fans caught wind Tuesday of the sly remark Tim made during his Oct. 29 live interview with 9th Wonder at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

In response to Britney's "The Woman In Me" memoir -- in which she says JT got her pregnant back in 2000, and they decided to abort the baby -- Timbaland told the D.C. crowd his "SexyBack" collaborator should've "put a muzzle on that girl."

He also said he doesn't blame Britney for having loose lips, because that's what you have to do to go viral, and that's the name of the game in the current social media era of showbiz.

The audience got a good chuckle over Tim's response but Britney's fans are doing the opposite of laughing -- they're calling for him to apologize, and think he's actually harboring a now decades-old vendetta against Britney.

Back in 2007, Timbaland told MTV that Britney dissed him and JT, and she needed to apologize if they were ever going to work together.

That didn't happen .. Britney went on to drop her "Blackout" album with beats from Timbaland's former protégé Danja, and, clearly, there are still lingering tensions!!!

Reacting to that ... Cardi went on IG live about a month later and called Larsa out for what she considered clout-chasing, not to mention tall tales of love-making. She said doing it that many times in a day means something's seriously wrong with either the man or woman.

Of course, she also took some vulgar shots ... saying Larsa needed to "stitch your p***y up."

Now, all this time later ... Larsa said this, "I don't know how can someone else comment on how many times I have sex, you guys?" she said, addressing the audience at the event in Las Vegas. "She wasn't in bed with us, so I don't know. I kind of feel like that was comical."

Lisa sabía que tener un papel protagonista con Matthew Perry habría sido un cambio de juego para su carrera, pero cree que en última instancia fue un buen movimiento y podría haber cambiado el curso de la serie.

Matthew Perry's character, Chandler Bing, on "Friends," almost had a scandal on his hands by cheating on Monica ... but we're told the actor got the whole idea scrapped.

We spoke with Lisa Cash, who appeared in the 1999 episode from season 5, "The One in Vegas: Part 1" -- telling us she got the gig as an extra, but her role on the episode was originally a lot more controversial ... or it would have been if Matthew didn't speak up.

She tells TMZ ... the OG scene revolved around Monica -- played by Courteney Cox -- getting into a heated argument with Chandler, with Lisa's character eventually bringing up room service to his hotel room in Vegas.

Apparently, Chandler and Lisa's character hit it off after his big fight with Monica -- going so far as to actually cheat on her with the hotel staffer.

If you watched the show, you know that's something fans would NEVER forgive Chandler for, and that's exactly what Matthew thought. Lisa says after rehearsing the scene, he went to the writers and told them to axe it.

Lisa knew having a costarring role with Matthew Perry would have been a game changer for her career, but thinks it was ultimately a good move and could have changed the course of the show.

While the whole plot got nixed, Lisa ended up staying in the episode as a flight attendant in Ross and Rachel's scene.

Machine Gun Kelly es la última celebridad en ser entrevistada por Martin Brundle y el resultado fue bastante bizarro.

El rockero/rapero estuvo en Sao Paulo el domingo para tomarse fotos con todos los carros de carreras que competían por el Gran Premio de Brasil y como de costumbre, Brundle, (el famoso piloto convertido en locutor) estaba allí haciendo lo suyo para Sky Sports F1, caminar por ahí en busca de estrellas para entrevistar.

Finalmente, encontró a MGK y trató de charlar con él de forma improvisada. Fue similar a sus otras entrevistas, algo torpe y algo incómoda.

Mira por ti mismo; está claro que Kels y el músico/rapero no estaban en la misma página, ya que parece que no podía oír a Martin con todo el ruido a su alrededor. Sin embargo, las pocas preguntas que pudo escuchar las respondió de manera extraña, lo cual generó algunas risas.

Machine Gun Kelly is the latest celeb to be interviewed by Martin Brundle -- and just like most of MOTS stop-and-chats go ... this one was equally awkward, if not more hilarious.

The rocker/rapper was out in Sao Paolo Sunday to take in all the race cars zipping by for the Brazil Grand Prix -- and per usual, Brundle -- the famous driver-turned-broadcaster -- was out there doing his thing for Sky Sports F1 ... walking the grid and looking for stars to talk to.

Eventually, he tracked down MGK and attempted to chat him up impromptu ... and it kinda went the way his other interviews go -- very clunky and a little embarrassing for everybody.

Watch for yourself ... it's clear that Kels and MB weren't really on the same page, as it appears he couldn't quite hear Martin with all the noise going on around him. However, the questions he did hear ... he answered a bit oddly, which made for some great laughs.

This one definitely turns as hostile as some of Martin's other interviews -- sometimes, the dude gets straight-up snubbed by A-listers -- but it's unclear if he got what he wanted out of MGK.

Lauryn Hill has a tendency to run a little behind at her live shows -- on the rare occasion that she performs, that is -- but she says that should be the least of her fans' concerns.

The enigmatic singer/rapper is currently on tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her iconic album,' The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,' and she stopped off in L.A. Saturday night ... where she seems to have been a little tardy for her set, something she addressed head-on.

Check it out ... in the video, LH says she's aware of people who complain about her being late to gigs -- but fires back, saying fans should count themselves lucky she even shows up.

This isn't so much Lauryn lashing out as it is her getting what sounds like a major grievance off her chest -- namely, the fact that she only released one solo album ... and based on what she's saying here, it appears that might've not been her decision back in the day.

Instead of bowing out of the music scene -- which she kinda did for a long time -- Lauryn says she's embraced her one piece of great art (solo-wise, of course) and continued to perform it over and over again ... noting that the people love her album to this day.
