Charles Oakley straight -up OPEN HAND SLAPPED Charles Barkley in the face during a 1999 off-the-court encounter ... so says ex-NBA champ Chucky Brown.

In fact, Chucky says he watched the entire thing ... and says Barkley got punked hard.

Chucky gave the blow-by-blow on the "Jerseys & Dress Shirts" podcast with MJ and Dale "The Lawyer" ... explaining how it unfolded in a hallway before an NBA player's union meeting.

In case you didn't know ... Oakley and Barkley had bad blood for years. They famously fought on the court in a pre-season game in 1996.

Brown says Barkley refuses to acknowledge the incident. We're reaching out to his reps anyway.

Chris Bosh has found a way to fill the time now that he's not playing in the NBA -- he KILLED IT as a special guest guitarist with blues legend Buddy Guy!!

Bosh hit up Buddy Guy's Legends blues club in Chicago Sunday night and got onstage with the 80-year-old guitar god himself. Did a pretty good job, too.

CB had major support from the crowd -- which included his wife, along with good friends (and ex-teammate) Dwyane Wade and Gabby Union.

12:04 PM PT -- The gunman's been ID'd as 26-year-old U.S. born Esteban Santiago of New Jersey, according to law enforcement. Santiago had military ID on him.

Ft. Lauderdale Airport is on lockdown after a gunman opened fire in the baggage claim area ... reportedly killing at least 5 people.

Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer was in the airport as the chaos erupted and tweeted, "Everyone is running."

According to multiple reports ... at least 9 people were injured and the lone gunman has been captured by police.

Hundreds of travelers are still out on the tarmac as police try to make sure there's no additional threat.

Cool move from Colin Kaepernick ... who decided to clear out a BUNCH of shoes from his insanely expensive Nike collection and donate them to homeless shelters and orphanages.

Kaepernick -- along with his girlfriend, Nessa -- raided the QB's closet, packing up shoes, clothing and hats to donate to a couple of places, including the Dorothy Day House in Berkeley.

And he didn't just give them his worn-out crap -- we're talking Air Max, Jordans, Timberlands, etc. Just from eyeballing it ... it appears to be thousands of dollars worth of gear.

Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon has decided to enter the NFL Draft ... just weeks after a video of him brutally punching a female was released, this according to multiple reports.

Mixon has two years of college eligibility left ... and since he's in the middle of a PR nightmare at the moment, a lot of people thought he would stay in school at least another year to see if he could rebuild his draft stock.

Before the release of the video Mixon was expected to go in the early rounds. The video is, obviously, a huge game-changer.

The big question ... will ANY team want to take a chance on drafting a guy who beat a woman on video???

Tiger Woods is finally opening up about his golf outing with President-elect Donald Trump last month ... saying the guy can still RIP shots ... even at 70 years old.

The two got together at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach on Dec. 23 -- and now Woods is giving the lowdown on how things went on the links.

"I recently played with President-elect Donald Trump. What most impressed me was how far he hits the ball at 70 years old. He takes a pretty good lash."

Chicago cops just slapped 4 suspects with multiple charges -- including hate crime -- for kidnapping and torturing the 18-year-old man in that horrific Facebook Live video.

Jordan Hill, Tesfaye Cooper, Brittany Covington and Tanishia Covington were charged Thursday with aggravated kidnapping, hate crime, aggravated unlawful restraint and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Jordan was additionally charged with robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle. Three of the 4, including Jordan, were also charged with residential burglary.

Warren Sapp says allegations he drunkenly bowled over a woman at a Super Bowl party on January 30, 2015 are completely bogus ... claiming the accuser is lying through her teeth.

The woman suing Sapp is Paula Trickey -- an actress who's appeared in "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" and "The O.C."

According to her suit, filed in Broward County, FL ... Trickey claims a drunk Sapp was being kicked out of an ESPN Super Bowl party in Scottsdale, AZ around 1 AM when he began running through the crowd and slammed into her.

Trickey claims she suffered serious injuries in the collision including "significant and permanent loss of bodily functions." She's demanding more than $15k.

Trickey told the Miami Herald, "There are places in my body I didn’t know existed that are still hurting two years later."

But Sapp says the allegations are untrue -- and issued a statement on Twitter saying, "On Jan. 30 2015 I was at the JBL/Harmon private event where I was scheduled to introduce Pitbull."

Sapp added, "It's impossible to be @ 2 places at 1 time."

President Obama's farewell ceremony was too much for a member of a U.S. Army Honor Guard ... who hit the floor hard.

The Virginia ceremony was supposed to celebrate the prez's 8 years in office, and all was going well until the guard lost consciousness.

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds had very different ideas for their burial, and the family has already taken steps to carry out Fisher's wishes.

We've confirmed Carrie's body has already been cremated and we're told the action was taken at the behest of the actress when she was still alive. Her will states she wanted to be cremated.

As for Debbie, she wanted her body buried ... she specifically did not want to be cremated.

We're told a portion of Carrie's ashes will be placed in a coffin and buried alongside Debbie's coffin at Forest Lawn in Burbank.

Janet Jackson is a mom for the first time.

Janet delivered a baby boy Tuesday with hubby Wissam Al Mana, and the kid's name is Eissa Al Mana ... according to Janet's reps.

Remember, Janet unexpectedly postponed her Unbreakable World Tour last year to start "planning our family" ... as she put it in a video message to disappointed fans.

People was the first to report the birth. JJ's reps tell us the 50-year-old singer had a "stress free healthy delivery."

Congrats to Janet, and also to her fans ... anxious for her to continue the tour.

Good news, bad news for Jimmy Snuka ... a judge has dismissed the murder charge against him -- but only because she thinks the ex-wrestler is too mentally gone to stand trial.

Snuka's legal team had argued that he had terminal cancer and only had months to live ... and also suffers from such a bad case of dementia that he doesn't realize he's been charged with murder.

Prosecutors had claimed Snuka was faking the dementia to get out of the case.

But Tuesday, the Lehigh County judge officially sided with Snuka's camp -- ruling the wrestler is still incompetent and she's convinced he will not regain competency and "that it would be unjust to resume the prosecution."
