Joey Porter Saved By Video Prosecutors Reducing Charges
The eye in the sky saved Joey Porter big time -- officials say they will reduce the charges against the Steelers assistant coach stemming from an incident at a bar after reviewing surveillance footage.
As we previously reported, Porter was arrested on Sunday night after allegedly getting physical with a bouncer at a Pittsburgh bar.
He was initially charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, public drunkenness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
But now, the Allegheny County D.A. issued a statement saying they viewed footage from multiple angles and determined there wasn't enough evidence to get an assault conviction.
All of the charges will be formally dropped EXCEPT public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
As for Porter, he's currently on leave from the Steelers.

Happy Thursday, butt lovers ... here's Serena Williams making the mid-week great again, frolicking around an empty dance studio in see-through tights with that trophy-winning body on full display.
The reason for the bountiful goodness is Berlei underwear ... a brand Serena's been endorsing for a couple of years and is wearing in the spot.
Apparently, the aim of the ad is to show that Serena sometimes just likes to have fun and cut loose, dancing it up while wearing Berlei undies.
We had a lotta fun too, especially at :10, :26, and the solid air hump at :54 ... enjoy.

Check out the vid ... Wellington knows he'll probably get in trouble, but clearly doesn't care.
At least he offers to clean up the mess.

Donald Trump Toe-to-Toe Shouting Match With CNN Reporter
President-elect Donald Trump just went ballistic on a reporter from one of the news outlets he's blaming for spreading the alleged Russian hack report on him.
Trump's news conference got super heated when a CNN reporter tried to get his attention to ask a question. Mind you, Trump had already called out BuzzFeed and CNN multiple times for the "fake news" -- so the reporter couldn't possibly have thought this would go well.
It didn't. EPIC verbal melee.

Chicago Cubs Squeezing In White House Visit ... Right Before Trump
The Chicago Cubs have officially scheduled their White House visit after winning the World Series ... and it happens to be going down 4 DAYS before President Obama leaves office.
A team official has confirmed the World Series champs will get to hang with POTUS -- a Chicago native (but a Sox fan) -- on January 16. They will be the last professional team to visit during Obama's term.
Donald Trump takes office on the 20th.
What's interesting ... the Ricketts family, who own the Cubs, have sparred with Trump in the past.
In fact, Trump tweeted back in February, "I hear the Rickets family, who own the Chicago Cubs, are secretly spending $'s against me. They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!"
The Ricketts family has said Trump is wrong about hidden dirt.
Still, unclear if the beef had anything to do with the timing of the White House visit ... but it's interesting.
I hear the Rickets family, who own the Chicago Cubs, are secretly spending $'s against me. They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!

Donald Trump Suspects U.S. Intelligence Agencies For Russian Hack 'Report'
Donald Trump is pointing a suspicious finger at America's intelligence agencies for possibly leaking that "fake" Russian dossier.
The Prez-elect started his NY news conference by addressing the report, which he and several news outlets have dismissed as completely unfounded -- and immediately went after whoever put out the alleged info Vladimir Putin has on him.
Trump called the leak a "tremendous blot" on U.S. intelligence ... IF it came from them.
The first week in the White House just got more interesting.

Dylann Roof Sentenced to Death
Dylann Roof -- the man convicted for the racially motivated mass murder in a South Carolina church -- was just sentenced to death.
Dylann showed little regret during his trial for murdering 9 black worshipers during Bible study at Emanuel AME Church back in June of 2015. He walked into the church and shot the churchgoers in cold blood.
Likewise, he showed zero remorse Tuesday in court ... where he represented himself and told jurors he felt like he had to kill his victims, and "I still feel like I have to do it."
The 12 person jury deliberated just 3 hours before announcing the sentencing in which Dylann repped himself.

Colin Cowherd Responds to Dabo Swinney 'I Can Take a Punch'
Colin Cowherd finally reacted to Dabo Swinney calling him a "fraud" after the National Championship game Monday night ... telling the Clemson coach, "I can take a punch."
Swinney called out Cowherd minutes after the game last night over Cowherd's harsh criticism of the team earlier in the season.
So, Tuesday morning on 'The Herd' on FS1 ... Cowherd reacted -- but it wasn't a firefight. He gave Swinney the ol' "Tip of the cap."
Still, Cowherd didn't exactly back down ... saying his job is to have strong takes on topics people care about and he'll continue to do just that no matter the blowback.
He even used a Donald Trump example to make his point.
Cowherd finished with a strong message to Dabo -- "You're a helluva coach ... you made college football better."

Ronda Rousey Vows to Rebuild Life After 'Rock Bottom'
Ronda Rousey is back on the grid ... kind of ... posting a quote on social media about bouncing back after hitting "rock bottom."
The UFC legend put up a J.K. Rowling quote that reads, "And so rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life."
Rowling famously delivered the quote during a 2008 speech at Harvard while talking about how she wrote 'Harry Potter' while she was broke, jobless and recently divorced.
Rousey said she was a broken woman after the Holly Holm fight. She appeared to take the Amanda Nunes loss equally hard ... essentially going into hiding after UFC 207 to ponder her future.
