Bill Cosby Alma Mater Temple U Yanks Honorary Degree
Bill Cosby just lost one of his last honorary degrees ... this one from the very school he graduated from.
Temple University gave Cosby the honor back in 1991. However, Friday, the school released a statement saying, "Today the Temple University Board of Trustees has accepted the recommendation of the University to rescind the honorary degree."
Cosby served as a member on the board for decades before resigning in 2014. Andrea Constand -- the woman at the center of the sexual assault trial -- was a former Temple Women's Basketball Administrator.
Since allegations against Cosby started to surface, he's lost more than 20 certificates from colleges and universities.
On Thursday, Cosby was found guilty on 3 charges of indecent aggravated assault ... he faces up to 30 years in prison.

Luke Rockhold Ringside for Brutal Karate Combat K.O.
Luke Rockhold was one of the special VIP guests at a pretty crazy fight in Miami last night -- with supercars, celebrities ... and a brutal knockout.
Luke was ringside at Karate Combat: Inception -- where the fighters are driven to the ring in Rolls-Royces and then walk through a parking lot of supercars before actually fighting.
The guest list was invite only -- and Rockhold made the cut to watch Dionicio Gustavo take on Alexandre Bouderbane, a part-time fitness model.
Things turned brutal when Gustavo cracked Bouderbane with an overhand right -- sending the model crumpling to the ground.

Amy Schumer Hospitalized with Kidney Infection
Amy Schumer's spent the week in the hospital with a kidney infection, and she's still in recovery mode ... which means her job is taking a back seat for now.
The comedian says she was supposed to travel to London for the opening of her new movie, "I Feel Pretty" ... but doctors put the kibosh on that plan so she can focus on her health. She says the infection kept her laid up for 5 days, so makes sense she'd choose recovery time instead of overseas travel.
Schumer's giving props to her doctors and nurses for taking care of her, and thanking her family -- including her still brand new husband, Chris Fischer -- for being by her side.
Get well soon, Amy!

Tom Brokaw Facing Claims of Sexual Harassment
Tom Brokaw is being accused of making inappropriate and unwanted advances ... on 2 female co-workers in separate incidents in the 1990s.
One of the women, Linda Vester, claims the veteran broadcast journalist and former anchor of NBC Nightly News sexually harassed her while she was a reporter for NBC on "Weekend Today" in 1994 ... according to a report by The Washington Post.
Vester claims he asked her to have a drink with him, she replied "I only drink milk and cookies" ... and Brokaw later called her room around 3 AM and told her to order the milk and cookies because he was coming over.
She then says he showed up uninvited and attempted to force a kiss on her, jerking her head towards his, but she resisted ... then he left.
The second woman -- who chose to remain anonymous -- says she was a former PA at NBC News when he took her hands and put them under his jacket against his chest. He then invited her to his office later on ... insinuating he wanted to give her more than job advice.
She says she left the company shortly thereafter.
Neither woman reported the incidents when they happened. Brokaw -- who has been married to Meredith Lynn Auld since 1962 -- has denied the allegations.

NFL Draft Browns Take QB with Top Pick Welcome to Cleveland, Baker!!!
The pick is in ... the Cleveland Browns have selected Baker Mayfield as the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft!!!
Baker's story is pretty incredible -- he went from being a walk-on at Oklahoma to being the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. He threw for 129 TDs and just 29 interceptions in his college career.
Now, Mayfield has been given the task of turning around a miserable Browns franchise, which has combined for 4 total wins in the past 3 seasons ... including ZERO in 2017.
The next top picks in the draft are expected to be Saquon Barkley, Bradley Chubb, Quenton Nelson and of course ... fellow QBs Sam Darnold, Josh Allen and Josh Rosen.
BTW -- commish Roger Goodell got booed heavily once again when he walked out to open the Draft, even though he was joined by a group of Dallas Cowboys legends ... in Texas! Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman and Jason Witten got their cheers later, though.
Baker was clearly overjoyed by the selection ... breaking down in tears when he found out he was going to Cleveland.

Bill Cosby Guilty of Sexual Assault ... Lashes Out in Courtroom
1:15 PM PT -- Cosby's been ordered to remain in his home until sentencing.
11:18 AM PT -- Multiple people in the courtroom claim Cosby lashed out after prosecutors asked he be taken into custody immediately because he owns a private plane and could flee. Cosby shouted, "He doesn't have a private plane, you a**hole!"
Cosby was released on a $1 million bail.
Bill Cosby's retrial for sexual assault has just ended, and the jury found the once legendary TV dad guilty on all 3 counts of aggravated indecent assault.
The jury of 7 men and 5 women deliberated a full day before reaching their verdict and finding Cosby guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand in 2004 at his home.
The 80-year-old faces a maximum of 10 years in prison for each charge.
The verdict comes after the jurors spent 13 days in the courtroom hearing lawyers' arguments and testimony from witnesses, including Constand and 5 other women who claim they were also drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby.
That wasn't enough, though, because on Wednesday the jurors asked for the legal definition of consent. The judge said Pennsylvania law did not provide a definition ... it was essentially left up to the sensibility of jurors.
Cosby's attorneys attacked Constand by portraying her as a liar who tried to frame him to make money ... while prosecutors called out the attack as the reason sex crime victims are afraid to come forward.
Prosecutor Kristen Feden also blasted Cosby for smirking while she talked about his accusers, saying ... "He's laughing like it's funny, but there’s absolutely nothing funny about them being stripped of their capacity to consent.”
As we reported ... Cosby's June 2017 trial ended in a mistrial because the jury then had 2 not guilty holdouts.

Ronda Rousey 'Hearing Me Speak Is a Privilege'
Ronda Rousey believes it is a privilege to hear her speak ... and she means it.
The UFC legend was promoting her movie "Mile 22" when she was asked why she's dialed back her interactions with reporters ... something she didn't used to do when her UFC career was on the rise.
"We live in an age of trial by Twitter,” Rousey said ... "What is really gained by stating opinion on anything? It whittles people down. It gets cut and pasted 10 times and it’s in a headline."
"Why should I talk? I believe hearing me speak is a privilege, and it’s a privilege that’s been abused, so why not revoke it from everyone?"
"I don’t believe public criticism beating you down is the right thing to do.”
Rousey also offered an explanation for why her 2 final UFC losses were so hard for her to handle publicly.
"One thing my mother never taught me was how to lose. She never wanted me to entertain it as a possibility. She’d say: ‘Let it suck. It deserves to suck.'”

Johnny Manziel Baker Mayfield's Arrest Is No Big Deal
Johnny Manziel says Baker Mayfield's drunken arrest shouldn't define him -- because it's just a part of being a star QB in college.
"Look, he got in a little bit of trouble last year but that's just part of being in college," Manziel said on the "Comeback SZN" podcast with Barstool Sports.
Manziel says most star QBs are "gonna go out, they're gonna have some drinks and one night you're gonna drink too much and somethings gonna happen that shouldn't have happened."
"It's just the way that things go."
Manziel is clearly referring to Baker's February 2017 arrest -- when he was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and fleeing after Mayfield tried to run from cops.
Manziel doesn't think it's a big deal. We'll see if the NFL teams agree.

NFL Owners Only Care About Money, Not Activism ... Says Head of NFLPA
The head of the NFL Players Association says NFL owners only care about one thing -- money.
DeMaurice Smith -- executive director of the NFLPA -- was speaking at George Washington University when the issue of Colin Kaepernick and his kneeling demonstration came up.
Smith pointed to the fact Kaep hasn't been hired and said his unemployment shows how players and owners have completely different priorities, according to the GW Times.
"You have Colin fighting for the things he was fighting for, and to tie a loop on it, none of the owners are ever going to be involved in that," Smith said.
"They don’t care. The owners don’t care about anything but money."
Smith also reportedly defended Colin's right to express himself both on and off the field.

Avicii Family Hints at Suicide ... 'He Could Not Go On'

Breaking News

Avicii was struggling with major issues at the time of his death ... which his family is now strongly insinuating was a suicide.
The superstar DJ, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead last week in Oman, and while there's been no cause of death released ... his family just released a statement referring to his struggles to find meaning in his life once he finished touring.
Here's the full statement:
Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions.
An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress.
When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most – music.
He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness.
He could not go on any longer.
He wanted to find peace.
Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight.
Tim, you will forever be loved and sadly missed.
The person you were and your music will keep your memory alive.
Obviously, the passage ... "He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace" ... seems like a reference to Avicii taking his own life. Authorities have ruled out foul play in the 28-year-old's death.
Meanwhile, Avicii was commemorated in his native Sweden where a choir performed "Wake Me Up!"

Diaz said there's really nothing Mayweather's team could have done to prevent the shooting -- explaining, "Sometimes it's just gonna go down."

Stormy Daniels I Want in on Cohen's Criminal Case ... His Files Could Affect Me!!!
Stormy Daniels is demanding she and her attorney have a say in the government's case against Donald Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen.
Stormy and Michael Avenatti filed a motion to intervene which, if granted, means she would be able to participate in Cohen's case. You'll recall the feds seized a ton of documents from Cohen's office, and it appears Stormy thinks some of them could relate to her dealings with Trump and Cohen.
In particular, the "hush" agreement she's fighting to have invalidated would likely be included in Cohen's files. The documents could include her privileged communications with her attorneys which she might not want to go public.
The judge hasn't ruled on her motion, but she's obviously giving Cohen the ol' white-on-rice treatment.
