Amber Heard refused to go under oath Saturday for her deposition, crying, yelling and screaming in defiance ... so claim Johnny Depp's lawyers, who want the judge to call BS on her and dismiss the domestic violence case.

TMZ broke the story, Amber showed up around 11:50 AM Saturday for a 10 AM deposition. She was there until around 9 PM but never even walked in the deposition room, where lawyers, a court reporter and videographer were waiting.

According to new legal docs filed by Johnny's lawyer, Laura Wasser, Amber repeatedly refused to submit to questioning. According to the docs, at 2 PM Wasser and company wanted Amber to leave the adjoining office where she had been waiting and enter the conference room so the depo could begin.

According to the docs, Amber refused to enter. At 5:30 PM, Wasser again requested Amber to enter the depo room and again she refused. She never went in the room, instead, according to Wasser, she began crying and carrying on in the adjoining office.

Wasser says Amber also refused to turn over documents she had requested.

The Rock's rant about unprofessional male co-stars was targeted at Vin Diesel, TMZ has learned, and the 2 had a secret meeting on the "Fast 8" set Tuesday to hash things out.

Production sources tell TMZ ... when the Rock went nuts on social media Monday night, claiming certain male co-stars were not stand up guys and too "chicken s***" to confront him ... he was referring to Vin.

We're told The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because V.D. is a producer and has made decisions that didn't sit well with the former wrestling champ.

Our sources say The Rock and Vin had a meeting on the Atlanta set mid-day Tuesday ... partly because tensions were running so high it was almost impossible to shoot scenes. We do not know if they resolved their issues.

As we reported, almost the entire cast is angry at Rock for causing a stir just a week and a half before filming ends.

Donald Trump just made a shocking wisecrack during a speech, in which he mused Hillary Clinton was out to abolish the Second Amendment but the Second Amendment people know how to stop her.

Trump spoke at a North Carolina rally when he made the remark.

Clinton's campaign manager just fired back, "This is simple -- what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way."

The Rock's male co-stars in "Fast 8" are all pissed at him for obliquely calling some of them out as candy ass divas ... and they think his tirade is all about ego ... so say production sources on the set.

Our sources say all of the male co-stars are shooting Tuesday -- The Rock, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tyrese, Ludacris, Scott Eastwood and others. We're told they are all getting hounded by people who want to know who Rock was putting on blast.

Rock said on social media Monday, "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

We're told the male co-stars think Rock was out of line to talk crap, but given that he did they think it's unforgivable he wasn't specific because now they're all suspects.

Our sources say the co-stars -- male and female -- are especially upset because filming wraps in a week and a half and, as one put it, "This is a hell of a way to end it."

One source who is embedded in the production tells us there have been various conflicts because of "extreme egos" among most of the top actors, with the help of their agents and lawyers. But we're told none of the actors felt the public criticism was appropriate.

And we're told The Rock has not said anything today on set to clarify his remarks and the actors still don't know to whom he was referring. Our sources eliminate Tyrese and Luda, but all of the others are possibilities.

One source with knowledge of the situation tells TMZ, we can expect something on social media today that will clarify things.

Amber Heard plans to put Johnny Depp on the stand if her domestic violence/divorce case goes to trial, and she also plans to show the judge evidence she sought medical care in the past for a prior alleged domestic violence incident.

Amber's exhibit list includes a 2014 pic of her holding pills, and it appears her lawyer will try to connect the meds to domestic violence. The exhibit list also references medical records relating to a prior alleged act of domestic violence.

She also plans to submit videos and audios of Johnny interacting with her at their home.

Amber's lawyer, Samantha Spector, submitted their witness lists, which includes her good friend Raquel Pennington and Raquel's boyfriend, Joshua Drew ... both of whom were in the apartment building on May 21, the night she says Johnny brutalized her.

She's also calling iO Tillett Wright, the woman with whom Amber was on the phone during the incident.

As for putting Johnny on the stand ... Amber's lawyer wants to ask about the incident on the 21st as well as alleged prior domestic violence incidents.

The Rock has a serious message for some of his MALE DIVA co-stars on the set of "Fast 8" -- KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!!!

Rock is seriously pissed -- calling out some of the male actors for being unprofessional on the set ... though he's not naming names.

Johnny Depp is locked and loaded for his trial next month ... his lawyers have submitted a list of nearly 2 dozen witnesses to support his claim ... Amber Heard is lying when she says he brutalized her.

Among the witnesses ...

-- The 2 responding officers on May 21 -- the night Amber says Johnny attacked her. Both officers will testify they saw no evidence of injury nor was anything broken in the loft.

-- 5 concierges in the building, all of whom saw Amber between May 21 and May 27, and all of whom have said in depositions they saw no injuries on Amber's face.

-- 2 security guards who were in the unit on May 21, who will testify Johnny did not strike Amber.

-- Jodi Gottlieb, Amber's publicist. We're told Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, tried taking Gottlieb's deposition but she was not available. And Gottlieb is important because she was allegedly present during discussions between Amber and her lawyer.

-- And then there's Hilda Vargas, the housekeeper. According to the witness list, "Ms. Vargas will testify about a discovery in the home." The documents do not describe the discovery.

-- Of course, Amber is on the witness list. She will be called as a hostile witness.

There are also a number of exhibits listed, including Amber's domestic violence arrest report from the State of Washington and documents from the Australian dog smuggling case. We're told Depp's lawyers will press the point that Amber lied when she said she didn't know it was illegal to bring the dogs into the country.

And finally, this ... a mysterious photo. Johnny's legal docs explain, "For privacy reasons, this exhibit is being served on petitioners [Amber and team] and will be supplied to the court at the time of hearing."

A-Rod is a PED cheater who'd sully the Hall Of Fame with his inclusion ... so claims former MLB superstar Kenny Lofton, who says if he had his way, Rodriguez would NEVER be enshrined in Cooperstown.

Amber Heard's camp has come out swinging, claiming she did not refuse to have her deposition taken Saturday.

A member of Amber's team tells TMZ ... "Although she was ready, willing and able to go forward with her deposition, it was not taken by Johnny's attorneys. She waited for 10 hours and at no time did Amber ever refuse to start the deposition. There was nothing preventing Johnny's counsel from commencing the deposition."

They do not explain why Johnny Depp's lawyers would not want to grill Amber. As we reported, they were all present and had both a court reporter and videographer at the ready.

The team member also says Johnny's camp agreed to have Johnny's depo taken this Wednesday, but now says they can't make the date.

And they dispute the claim Amber was an hour and a half late for the depo. Even though it was called for 10 AM, they say they "confirmed" Amber would be arriving at 11. And they say she was there at 11, but didn't enter because they were blindsided by paparazzi.

UFC lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez seems to be issuing a warning to Conor McGregor -- careful with the WWE smack talk ... 'cause a lot of those dudes are the REAL DEAL.

Of course, McGregor said WWE superstars are nothing but a bunch of "messed up p**sies" -- which pissed a lot of 'em off.

Now, Alvarez is sort of defending the WWE -- while making it clear what they do is an "act" ... he still acknowledges that a lot of 'em are "incredible athletes" who come from a real combat sports background.

Ric Flair is firing back at Conor McGregor ... blasting the UFC star after McGregor proclaimed that most WWE wrestler are "messed up p**sies."

Funkmaster Flex apparently struck a nerve, because Drake went off on him again ... this time calling him a lame DJ.

Drake hit up Space Ibiza in NYC after his Saturday night MSG performance, and went at FF. Drake is clearly furious the DJ dared to say on the air the rapper doesn't write all of his own lyrics.

Funkmaster Flex was on "TMZ Live" Friday and seemed amused that Drake was still holding a grudge, but also said he still has mad respect for the rapper ... he's just not in Kendrick Lamar's league.

Conor McGregor just UNLOADED on the WWE -- saying most of the pro wrestlers are "p**sies" -- and blasted Brock Lesnar as a juiced up cheater.

McGregor was on a conference call to promote UFC 202 when he was asked if he'd ever consider doing a stint in the WWE ... and that's when he went off.

"I haven't really thought about it," McGregor said ... "For the most part, those WWE guys are p**sies."

"They're messed up p**sies if you ask me."

McGregor said there are some people he respects over there -- including the McMahons, Triple H and The Rock.

But when asked about Brock Lesnar ... he fired even more shots.

Amber Heard has been cavorting in London this week, but we're told she will absolutely be back for her deposition on Saturday ... and Johnny Depp could be watching the whole thing.

Our sources say Amber is locked and loaded for the depo, which is set for 10 AM Saturday morning. Johnny's lawyers, we're told, plan to grill her on her claim Johnny physically attacked her. We're told the depo could last 7 hours, and the range of inquiry includes statements from cops and witnesses who say she showed no signs of injury and nothing was broken in the downtown L.A. loft.

Johnny could be at the depo -- he has a right to show -- but both sides have to sign off on him being present because a restraining order is currently in place.

We're also told Johnny must sit for his deposition next week.

If the case is going to settle, this is the time. We're told settlement discussions are ongoing.

Clint Eastwood says the Democrats used the Gold Star family as pawns at the convention.

Vanilla Ice had a meltdown at Delta in Atlanta Monday, after realizing his plane had left ... without him.

Ice tells us he arrived an hour early and sat near the ticket counter. He says when he looked up the gateway door was closed, so he bolted to the counter, asking why no one called the flight.

Delta employees weren't in the mood for attitude, but what really set Ice off was a traveler who inserted himself into the discussion, schooling Ice on airport protocol.
